Abstract: According to the present invention, a low-calorie healthy food product rich in dietary fiber can be provided by using denatured glucomannan in producing food products, or by using denatured glucomannan to form a heat irreversible gelatinized food product, under a wide range of alkaline or acidic conditions. The present invention is a denatured glucomannan formed by isolating and the acetyl group of konjac-glucomannan by an alkali process to suppress swelling, whereupon the denatured glucomannan may then adjusted to be gelled or heated and gelled after being swollen by removing the swelling suppression using a high pH ingredient. Both the denatured glucomannan in addition to any gelatinized product or other food product formed from the denatured glucomannan may be dehydrated, frozen, or dried.

Abstract: A smoking system includes a capillary wick for holding liquid, at least one air inlet, at least one air outlet and a chamber between the air inlet and air outlet. The air inlet, the air outlet and the chamber are arranged so as to define an air flow route from the air inlet to the air outlet via the capillary wick so as to convey aerosol formed from the liquid to the air outlet. The smoking system further includes at least one guide for channeling the air flow in the air flow route, so as to control particle size in the aerosol. The smoking system optionally includes at least one heater for heating the liquid in at least a portion of the capillary wick to form the aerosol.

Abstract: An adjustable support brassiere comprises traditional bra elements—a bra band with closure; breast cups; and respective shoulder straps. Adjustability may comprise inner support cups having opposite ends being selectively attached on each breast cup, and a respective support strap being secured to each inner support cup, with a distal end of the support strap secured to an adjustment clip, which may releasably secure a portion of the shoulder strap. Adjustably securing different portions of the shoulder strap causes lifting and reconfiguring of the inner support cup to produce a desired amount of substantially vertical lifting to the woman's breast(s) in one embodiment, which is generally healthier for breast tissue than the typical inward displacement. Adjustments may be made by a woman throughout the day to alter her appearance as desired. Alternative embodiments permit lifting as well as inward/outward displacement, and may therefore serve as a minimizer.

Abstract: A nursing garment includes an interior front layer, an intermediate front layer, and an exterior front layer. The interior front layer includes soft cups for supporting breasts of the wearer and each defining an opening through the interior front layer providing access to a different one of the breasts of the wearer. The intermediate front layer includes two padded cups, is positioned immediately adjacent the interior front layer, and defines an intermediate front layer neckline edge and intermediate front layer underarm edges. The two padded cups overlie the soft cups such that each of the two padded cups covers a different one of the openings of the interior front layer. The exterior front layer extends over the intermediate front layer substantially covering the intermediate front layer and defines exterior front layer underarm edges each sewn to a different one of the intermediate front layer underarm edges.
