Abstract: A multi-use fuel tank flange assembly facilitates the attachment and removal of multiple components thereto, such as a draw and return tube assembly, a fuel filler neck, and a cover plate. Each of these components may be removed from the flange without damage to the component, the flange or the fuel tank. Multiple flanges may be used on a single fuel tank to allow multiple components to be secured to the single fuel tank.

Abstract: A storage bag includes a first sidewall having a top edge and a bottom edge, and a plurality of shift regions about which the bag is capable of shifting. At least one of the shift regions includes one of a score line, an indentation, and a crimp formed into the first sidewall, and extends a distance along the first sidewall starting from near the bottom edge of the first sidewall. A second sidewall is connected to the first sidewall so as to form an interior of the bag with an opening to the interior and having a top edge and a bottom edge. At least one of the shift regions of the first and second sidewalls extends across and intersects with another of the shift regions of the first and second sidewalls, to facilitate shifting of the bag. The bag shifts between a flat configuration, and a stand-up configuration.

Abstract: This invention discloses an innovative device to effectively open a recipient or container whose cap is formed by a laminated surface, also forming a mouthpiece that allows the direct and hygienic consumption of the content within. The disclosed device is an overcap comprising: i) a base with an inner hollow space, and ii) a tab located within the hollow space of the base, having piercing and cutting means on one of its ends and comprising an inner hollow space; which is connected to the base by means of two end pieces forming an axis for the tab to be turned. Once said overcap is coupled with the container, the laminated surface can be pierced and removed/pulled away by turning the tab, thereby creating an opening in the laminate allowing the content to exit there from.

The overcap has protrusions and the ring has corresponding cut outs. There is a ring cut out gap lock that prevents at least one protrusion from passing through a cut out gap, unless it is moved to a release position after alignment of the ring unit and overcap.

The packaging incorporates plastic material and multiple cuts to be tear-resistant and to halt the propagation of a tear, if one should occur.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a technique of manufacturing a graphene oxide nanocomposite membrane in which 3 ?m to 5 ?m-sized graphene oxide is coated with a thickness of 10 nm or more on various supports, or a graphene oxide nanocomposite membrane having a structure in which graphene oxide is inserted into a polymer. The graphene oxide nanocomposite membrane manufactured according to the present invention has excellent barrier characteristics against various gases even when graphene oxide, of which the size is controlled to 3 ?m to 5 ?m, is coated as a nanometer-thick thin film on various supports or the graphene oxide nanocomposite membrane has a simple structure in which graphene oxide is inserted into a polymer, and thus the graphene oxide nanocomposite membrane can be applied to the packaging of display devices, food, and medical products.

Abstract: Single-layer plastic container with inorganic light-shielding fillers provides a strong light shield, including near-total shields blocking the whole light spectrum, in a light weight container. The plastic container contains at least two different thermoplastic polymers that functionally complement each other. Light-shielding inorganic fillers contain at least two different inorganic substances that complement each other in their light-shielding function. The plastic compositions achieve light shielding in very light single-layer containers without the cost and complexity of multi-layer structures. Only conventional equipment and production processes are required.

Each individual lottery ticket pack is wrapped with a wrapping material, and a label is adhered to the wrapping material. The label includes a first portion permanently adhered to the wrapping material and a second portion having a releasable adhesive applied to a surface thereof. The label is grasped and pulled away from the ticket pack in a manner that causes the permanently adhered first portion of the label to tear the wrapping material from the ticket pack. Then, the remaining wrapping material is manually removed from the pack. The second portion of the label is used to connect the last ticket in the ticket pack to a first ticket in a separate unwrapped ticket pack by pressing the side of the second portion containing the releasable adhesive across aligned ends of the adjacent tickets.

Abstract: An expandable and reusable plastic bag is utilized. The bag is preferably a T-shirt style bag or a drawstring style bag. In either version, at least one, or a combination of, techniques are used to make the bags. The techniques include use of perforations, heat seals and adhesives (permanent and/or peelable). The bags are used to carry goods, such as groceries from the store to the home. The bags can then be opened and expanded to become trash bags, fitting into a conventionally sized trash container. The bags are thus reusable and are intended to reduce landfill and litter by virtue of their double use.

The flexible impact elements communicate with the device so as to limit or control the buildup of solids on the rotating elements, thus enabling a more efficient throughput of materials by the device.

The method includes receiving printing instructions, receiving finishing instructions, after printing, in order to form a stack of printed and finished sheets, the finishing instructions includes an instruction to create a new target stack edge extending in a direction of a stack height on each of the plurality of sheets, printing a mark on each sheet of a group of sheets of the plurality of sheets, the mark intended to hit the new target stack edge in a group of at least one target hit point, and finishing the plurality of printed sheets according to the finishing instructions to create a new actual stack edge. A plurality of actual hit points form a pattern on the new actual stack edge and comprises a continuous proportional indication for a degree of correctness of the printing and/or finishing operation.
