Abstract: A magnetic latching system for connecting two components, the magnetic latching system being comprised of a latch assembly and an anchor bar assembly. More specifically, a latch assembly having a latch pull, which contains a latch magnet, and a latch hook, and an anchor bar assembly having an array of anchor bars riveted to a steel plate. The latch magnet attaches to the steel plate to create a lock-free soft closure. Sliding the latch assembly over an anchor bar will engage a hook portion of the latch hook, creating a secure, locked closure. Pulling up on the latch assembly and sliding the latch assembly away from the anchor bar will unlock the magnetic latching system.

Abstract: A suitcase cornerite device and a suitcase belong to the field of cases and bags. The suitcase cornerite device includes: first cornerites configured to wrap top corners of a case body of a suitcase and second cornerites configured to wrap bottom corners of the case body, with side edges of the first cornerites and/or the second cornerites abutting against respective opening-closing frames of the suitcase. With this structural design, one side edges of the first cornerite and the second cornerite may abut against respective opening-closing frames of the case body, such that the case body can obtain, when withstanding a compressive force, an additional supporting force provided by the cornerite device. The suitcase provided by the application includes the aforementioned suitcase cornerite device, and thus has good compression resistance, ruggedness and durability; furthermore, the large-area cornerite contributes to improve the friction resistance of the case body.

Abstract: A hair braiding apparatus includes a main housing having a lower portion defining a lower interior area. A rotor assembly is mounted to the lower portion of the main housing and includes a rotor motor having a plurality of rotors operatively coupled to the rotor motor. The rotor assembly includes at least a pair of orbital tracks configured to receive the plurality of rotors for movement therealong. A plurality of hair retention members are coupled to respective rotors for positioning hair to be styled. A processor is positioned in the lower portion and electrically connected to the rotors for actuating the rotors to move along the orbital tracks. A memory stores programming instructions to selectively control movement of the rotors and the platform.

Abstract: A hair product application device for dispensing a hair product composition directly from a glove. The hair product application device generally includes a glove having at least one blister pack containing a hair product composition. The blister pack includes a pocket that holds the hair product composition and is at least partially in contact with an exterior surface of the glove. The pocket has a rupturable membrane and optionally, a backing sheet that is located at least partially on the exterior surface of the glove. The hair product composition is released by rupturing the rupturable membrane of the blister pack by applying an external pressure to the exterior surface of the rupturable membrane or an internal pressure to the pocket using a pneumatic device.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a comb for untangling curly hair. The comb includes a rigid frame extending lengthwise from a first end to a second end, the frame including a generally planar main body and its first end presenting an edge. A plurality of rigid teeth extend distally from the edge of the frame, with the plurality of teeth generally linear, aligned with one another, and generally coplanar. The intertooth spacing is configured to untangle hair while minimally disturbing styled hair. A rigid handle extend from the second end of the frame, the handle presenting a gripping surface for engaging the comb to hair.

Abstract: A resealable shaving solid applicator comprising an upper section, a support for a shaving solid, a shaving solid, and a lower section is provided. The support for a shaving solid may comprise one or more resilient tabs for engaging a shaving solid to form a mounted shaving solid. Methods for introducing a shaving solid into a resealable shaving solid frame to form a resealable shaving solid applicator are also provided herein.

Abstract: The powder case contains two concentric ring slots on a top side of the inner case for installing a block ring and an elastic seal ring. When the inner case is closed by an inner cap, the inner case is reliably sealed, greatly enhancing the airtightness of the powder case and effectively preventing the stored powders from spilling outside the powder case. Additionally, the powder case contains an outer case to house the inner case. When an outer cap to the outer case is closed, it depresses protruding pieces configured around the top side of the inner case so as to further enhance the airtightness of the powder case.

Abstract: Disclosed is a gravity flow spool valve for dispensing small volumes of liquid. The valve comprises an elongated hollow housing and a piston adapted to move within the interior of the housing. The piston has a first and second spool, spaced from each other using a coupling rod. The piston is coupled to an activation button which moves the piston from a dispense position to an intake position. In the intake position, the second spool is moved past a series of intake holes in the housing and fluid surrounding the holes flows into the chamber defined between the interior surface of the housing, the first spool and the second spool. When in the dispense position, the chamber is in communication with a spout and a ventilation hole which allows the fluid contained within the chamber to flow out the spout. One application of the valve is dispensing perfume samples.

In addition, in the case of the mascara applicator according to the present invention, it is possible to apply contents without rotating the brush 30 since the brush 30 is formed in a flat shape, and it is possible to apply contents onto a large area since the contents are applied onto the entire surfaces of the brush bristles 33.

Abstract: A backpack security system helps prevent unauthorized access to the contents of a backpack through the use of a concealed mount fastener, and a visible decoy exposed fastener that actuates an alert signal when the decoy exposed fastener is manipulated. The mount fastener positions between a wearer and the backpack, such that access to the mount fastener is not visible and inaccessible while mounted to the back of the wearer. The decoy exposed fastener operatively connects to an alarm device. The alarm device transmits both audible signals and wireless silent signals to alert to unauthorized manipulation of the backpack. The audible signal is transmitted when the decoy exposed fastener is manipulated. The silent signal is wirelessly transmitted to a wearer and/or a remote receiver when the decoy exposed fastener is manipulated.

Abstract: Backpacks and backpack systems which have at least a portion which is accessible from the front of a wearer. In one illustrative embodiment, a backpack system in accordance with the present invention includes a back portion with shoulder straps. A swing-around portion is formed as a storage compartment that is secured to the back portion in a carrying position. An articulated frame is secured to the back portion and the swing-around portion and allows a user wearing the backpack to pivot the swing around portion around the user's side and access the contents therein. A securing latch is used to secure the articulating frame to retain the swing-around portion in the carrying position. The entire storage compartment of the pack may be a swing-around portion, or the pack may include multiple storage compartments that are either fixed to the back portion or function as swing-around portions.

Abstract: A strap for a bag provides and includes a main body having a first end attached to a first attachment location of the bag and a second end attached to a second attachment location of the bag. The strap also includes a tension element that extends between the first end and the second end. The tension element is movable between a tightened state and a relaxed state. The tension element also applies a force on the first end and the second end in the tightened state to change the relative position of the first end and the second end.

Abstract: An inflatable carrying device of watercraft by a single human carrier comprising one or more inflatables having a shape to enable it to be secured to one or both shoulders of the carrier, and a shear and tensile strength to support at least in part the watercraft. Various embodiments of the inflatables include an incurvate side about 240-300 degrees to secure to the shoulders, a length extending at least transversely across the seating area of the watercraft, a length about the width of one shoulder of the carrier, and a height to provide forward visibility for the carrier to avoid obstacles. The device makes possible single human transport of watercraft which lack a design structure for solo transport such as a kayak having a cockpit and a sit-on-top kayak.

In one embodiment, the invention can be an oral care implement having a handle extending from a proximal end to a distal end and a head having a front surface and an opposite rear surface. The head includes a cantilever extending from the distal end of the handle, a rigid plate that is spaced from the cantilever, and a resilient material that fills in the space between the cantilever and the rigid plate. The resilient material may be in direct contact with an entirety of a front surface of the cantilever and an entirety of a rear surface of the rigid plate. Furthermore, the cantilever, the rigid plate, and the resilient material may collectively form an exposed side surface of the head.

Each unit is a modular tray which may be, while filled with at least a single row of products, lifted clear of the shelf and moved to another shelf location. The base and side divider are coupled to allow the side divider to move forward and backward relative to the base. A backstop is attached to the rear of the side divider so that the products may be moved towards the shelf front when the side divider is drawn forward relative to the stationary base.

The base and multi-component divider can be used in locations where there is limited space between shelves, such as a shelf in a freezer or refrigerated display, or in any application where a higher divider may be preferred, but cannot be installed. Another embodiment utilizes a wicking element and a shroud that directs hot air from the condenser through the wick thereby increasing the condensate evaporation rate. Yet another embodiment utilizes the hot gas tube from the refrigeration system routed through the bottom of the condensate tray to pre-heat the condensate to accelerate evaporation. Alternative embodiments combine certain features to create even more efficient system such as a heating element used with the wick system or the hot gas system used with the wick system. In some embodiments, a mold and mildew inhibitor is added to the condensate to maintain cleanliness.
