Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for generating personalized timeline-based feeds to a user. A computer-implemented method for generating feeds to a user may be provided. The method may include generating a timeline comprising a plurality of milestones and needs associated with an event, and providing the feeds based on community wisdom. The feeds may be provided for each milestone on the time-line specific to the user, and may be configured to address the user's needs at each milestone.

Abstract: Systems and methods of generating geo-aware fuzzy autosuggestions for a search engine are disclosed. Transmissions received by a server system may be processed, the transmissions indicating characters received via a user interface as user input for a search query to a searching service. Information about a geographical location received by the server system may be processed, and a geographical area may be identified. A data store may be searched with an exact matching method to identify exact matches of the first set of characters with candidate data from the data store for geo-specific suggestions. Fuzzy searching operations may be performed based on the geographical area and the first set of characters. Geo-specific suggestions may be selected based on the fuzzy searching operations and may be transmitted to the end-user device to cause indication as a user-selectable option via the user interface to complete the search query.

Abstract: There is provided a computer implemented data driven classification and troubleshooting system and method. The system has an interface application enabled to receive data. The system has an associative memory software in communication with the interface application via an API. The associative memory software has an associative memory and a machine learning algorithm. The system has one or more individual areas, within the associative memory, requiring one or more troubleshooting actions to improve accuracy of the individual areas. The system has at least one troubleshooting tool enabled by the interface application. The at least one troubleshooting tool enables or performs the troubleshooting actions. The system has a quality rating metric (QRM) that measures a strength and an assurance that one or more predictions of the associative memory are correct. The one or more troubleshooting actions results in improving the accuracy and the performance of the associative memory.

Abstract: In accordance with an example embodiment, an input text string is received. Then a k nearest neighbor (KNN) algorithm is used on the input text string to identify a set of leaf categories of an item listing schema that corresponds to the input text string. The set of leaf categories is reordered based on a statistical language model (SLM) algorithm performed on the input text string and an SLM for each leaf category in the set of leaf categories from the KNN recommendation service. A gradient boosting machine (GBM) is then used to fuse the reordered set of leaf categories, a log prior probability for each of the leaf categories, and scores for the KNN algorithm for each of the leaf categories to calculate an ordered list of recommended leaf categories with corresponding scores.

Abstract: In one embodiment, the method incorporates a first set of words that belong to a topic in a set of topics that correspond to a set of genomes in a model, the words being incorporated in the model via a first item in the model. Then, the method incorporates a relationship between a second set of words that are associated with topics in the set of topics via a second item in the model. The model is trained with respect to the first item and the second item to determine a probability distribution of terms for the set of topics based on analyzing textual information for a plurality of media programs. The method further scores terms for each of the plurality of media programs based on the trained model to rank topics that correspond to genomes, the genomes describing characteristics for each media program.

Abstract: A method is provided for determining the taxes and fees for a group of itineraries itinerary in an efficient manner to reduce latency and computer processing resource requirements by determining the taxes and fees for a single itinerary that is representative of a related group of itineraries. Methods provided herein may include receiving a plurality of itineraries, where each itinerary includes an origin and a destination; determining a key for each of the plurality of itineraries; and grouping the itineraries into a plurality of groups, where itineraries with matching keys are grouped together in a single group. The method may include determining tax and fee information for each group, and assigning the determined tax and fee information for each respective group to each of the itineraries within the respective group.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for allowing a user to more easily select seats that are desirable to the user at event venues. Seating preferences of the user can be provided by the user or can be determined from historic user ticket purchase information. A ticket server can present the user with a map that shows those seating areas that meet at least some of the user's preferences. The user can use the map to determine which seats the user would like to purchase.

Abstract: Secure content transfer systems and methods to operate the same are disclosed. An example system includes a content server to encrypt content according to an encryption key, and to transfer the encrypted content, the encryption key and a license to a client that supports a digital rights management technology. The example system further includes a broadcast system headend to determine the encryption key, wherein the broadcast system headend is physically separate from the content server, and a digital rights management license server to provide the license.

Abstract: Disclosed is an automated tool that assesses an organization's issues through assessments and determines the most appropriate solution flows based on the user's answers and question rank. This invention allows an organization to assess their issues and complete the solution flows in a fully automated environment, providing a less expensive, automated, self-paced flow to improve the organization versus the traditional in person consultation. Any discipline may be incorporated into the tool, allowing new information to be added any time and tailored to specific discipline needs.

Abstract: A method includes forming a working mixed integer linear program (MILP) from a given MILP for job allocation to allocate people to jobs at least by choosing a subset of variables from the MILP. Only person/job combinations that are deemed most valuable are chosen for the subset. The working MILP includes the chosen subset of variables but no other variables from the given MILP. The working MILP is solved to determine a solution. Using the solution, a special linear program is formed and solved to determine a price of each constraint relative to the solution. Using the prices, variables that are not in the working MILP are evaluated to determine any variables that can contribute to an improved solution. The variables evaluated as contributing to an improved solution are added to the working MILP. The working MILP with the added variables is solved. Apparatus and program products are also disclosed.

Abstract: The embodiments herein provide a system and method for managing equine events. The participation details are collected from one or more contestants participating in the equine event using a computing device. The equine event comprises plurality of divisions separated based on a pre-determined time interval from a fastest time clocked in the event. The entry fee is received from each contestant via a payment gateway. The entry fee for each contestant is computed based on the plurality of divisions chosen by a contestant and a number of horses selected by each contestant. A preset percentage of the total amount is assigned to the promoters as a promoter share. A reward amount for each division is determined after deducting the promoter fees. A prizemoney is rewarded to one or more contestants based on ranking.

The method includes determining prioritized location data based upon the location data and further related data, the further related data being at least one of an analysis of the at least one correspondence, internal information of the contact center, and external information available to the contact center. The method includes transmitting the prioritized location data to an unmanned, automated vehicle (UAV), the UAV configured to automatically move to a predetermined location based upon the prioritized location data.

Abstract: A technique for performing commercial venture analysis involves establishing an empirically-derived structure and evaluating companies using analytical techniques within that structure. The technique may involve defining jobs, or goals a customer is attempting to reach, with dozens or even hundreds of outcomes. Ideally, the structure and tools facilitate analysis that would not be possible otherwise. Moreover, the nature of the system enables real-time input for changing conditions and the ability to calculate returns for new markets in which products or services do not exist. A computer program product and business method is described for generating a market growth strategy. The computer program product in a computer-readable medium having instructions for directing a computer to focus on the core job that needs to be performed. The sets of attributes are each from one of multiple informational domains that represent processing factors associated with at least the process-level input request, contemporaneous infrastructure processing capabilities, and historical process performance of similar processes. The multiple sets of attributes from the multiple informational domains are hashed as a vector into an initial process prioritization. The attributes of the hashed vector of the multiple sets of attributes from the multiple informational domains are weighted in the initial process prioritization into a hashed-weighted resulting process prioritization. The process-level input request is assigned to a process category based upon the hashed-weighted resulting process prioritization.

The system includes a processor having software programmed to compile prediction data of the analysts based upon an outcome of the analyst's selections. The processor is in communication with a database for data storage. An interface is configured to provide an interactive link between the user and the prediction data. The interface provides a display portal for viewing the prediction data. The processor automatically tracks and records the performance history of the analysts and ranks them according to performance history. The processor presents the ranks of the analysts to the user through the display portal to the user who is then able to purchase a prediction from any of the analysts for a future event by payment of a fee.

The managers are ranked and compared according to sales performance. The moderator identifies who is above and below average based on PRU. The moderator may also present a Penetration screen showing product penetration and product per retail unit and a Revenue screen from which the managers will be able to view the revenue share/mix, the group revenue share/mix, the revenue source by product penetration, and the recent vs. previous quarter average profit. The information provided during the moderated sessions provides each manager with greater insight into where their performance ranks among their peers and facilitates improvement in the capabilities and profitability of finance managers.

Abstract: To evaluate performance of organizational units using Human Capital Value (HCV), the input data spread across an enterprise may be received from a user. The input data includes employee data, project related data, and organizational unit data for performance evaluation. The input data is analyzed for generating HCV variables. The HCV variables are stored in a repository (108). Further, the HCV variables may be parsed to determine an optimal set of variables. Based on the parsing, an efficiency of each organizational unit is computed. The computing is based on a Multi Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) technique. Based on the computing, the organizational units are ranked in a decreasing order of efficiency.

Abstract: The present invention relates to creating personalized user selection of remote video assistants based on the user's recent remote video assistant history. In this regard, once a user logs in to a remote video assistant/assistance system, the invention accesses the user's recent remote video assistant session data (i.e., which video assistants the user previously transacted with) and presents a listing of the video assistants which the user previously interacted with. In specific embodiments, as a means of insuring that the user recognizes the video assistant, an image or video clip is presented along with the listing of previously used to remote video assistants.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide an efficient multi-dimensional routing algorithm that takes into account decision factors including but not limited to skills of the agents, a channel to be used for a particular contact, personal preferences and other contact specific information, a balance between inbound and outbound contacts, the relative expense of agents for a particular contact, etc. This routing algorithm can be adapted to handle mandatory conditions as well as soft conditions. Each of the various possible conditions can be weighted by the entity implementing the contact center based on a relative importance of the factor to that entity. Embodiments can also include a set of analytics that provides insight into the correlation between the decision factors and desired outcomes which can be used, for example, for proper tuning of the algorithm based on an adjustment of the weight applied to these various factors.

Secure tracking of the products is done with containers that have specific security keys and attributes known only to the inventory tracking system, which allows secure tracking though the different phases of production, retailing, and sale. Retailers can monitor the products available for purchase, and can allow the producers to provide detailed information on attributes of products that the regulated retailer may consider when deciding upon a purchase. The system can also give the retailer the ability to create a customized interface displaying real-time inventory attributes of the products at the retailer.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for the delivery of perishable products such as dairy products wherein the system combines a wholesale distribution network with a residential delivery network. A delivery hub receives perishable products from a distributor and stores and packages same for downstream delivery to the customers subscribing to the system. The system incorporates the use of low cost operational components and a low overhead, delivery-only storefront or facility. Additionally, two primary low cost operational components would be utilized, namely a low-cost delivery vehicle 15, such as an electric passenger sedan, and low-cost, long-lasting delivery packages 16, such as iceless cooler cases. The cooler cases are preferably provided as iceless cases that incorporate a gel technology that is pre-cooled at the storefront by a refrigeration unit wherein the cases 16 and gel technology retain the low temperature for an extended cooling time for delivery.

If the custodian is not in the custodian directory, the computer processor may create a new entry in the custodian directory for the custodian and store the extracted identity information in the new entry.

Abstract: Methods and structure for presenting and analyzing schedule data. One exemplary embodiment is a system that includes an interface and a controller. The controller is able to identify a schedule comprising multiple events occurring over a length of time, to select a cyclic period within the length of time, and to generate a representation of the length of time as a view of a three dimensional (3D) helix wherein each revolution of the 3D helix corresponds with an iteration of the cyclic period.
