Abstract: A surface foam diffuser and digester tank system prevents and/or suppresses the formation of foam during digestion. The system includes a first nozzle disposed above a top surface of the at least partially liquid contents, a splash plate positioned adjacent to the first nozzle outlet, and a second nozzle disposed below the top surface of the at least partially liquid contents for suppressing foaming in the large processing tanks. The system nozzles each have an inlet for receiving pressurized liquid and an outlet for ejecting a liquid stream into the tank, the depth of the second nozzle and the direction of the liquid stream there from being such that rotation of the top surface is facilitated. The spray of the first nozzle, as dispersed by the splash plate, reduces foam on at least a portion of the top surface, with the rotation of the top surface bringing each portion of the top surface to eventually fall within the reducing spray.

Abstract: The blower motor is powered by 115 volts from the circuit board that runs all of the other functions of the machine. This blower assembly is designed with enough draw to pull the incoming air across air filters in order to keep the blower and the operator free of air-borne debris. The filtered air is then supplied into the hollow framing of the equipment to be distributed to the operator, circuit boards and motors through holes made in the equipment framing. Using the machine frame as the ductwork also preserves the style and design of the equipment. Not only is this a new idea to the exercise equipment industry, but I believe it is necessary for an exercise machine to deliver clean air to the operator in order to keep their good health in mind. A blower without an air filter will send bacteria onto the user who is breathing heavy and sweating. This seems to defeat the purpose of exercising and the benefits of getting your heart rate and breathing accelerated for a length of time.

The shaping is carried out in absence of a binder followed by drying and a hydrothermal treatment to obtain the shaped crystallized solid material of formula LiCl.2Al(OH)3.nH2O. A method for extracting lithium from saline solutions uses the thereby prepared material.

Abstract: Disclosed are silica bound zeolite adsorbent particles which possess high volumetric gas adsorption capacity for the adsorption and/or desorption of gases. The adsorbent are highly effective as a gas source in volumetrically constrained applications. The silica-bound zeolite adsorbents possess a relatively high zeolite content simultaneously with a relatively low intra-particle pore volume as compared to the clay bound zeolite aggregates heretofore used as a gas source in volumetrically constrained environments, e.g. instant beverage carbonation processes, devices or systems.

Abstract: Methods for the manufacture of sorbent compositions, sorbent compositions and methods for using the sorbent compositions. The methods include the utilization of an acidic halogen solution as a source of a halogen species that is dispersed on a solid sorbent. The use of the acidic halogen solution results in a highly active halogen species that demonstrates improved efficacy for the removal of heavy metal(s) from a flue gas. The sorbent composition includes a substantially amorphous halogen species associated with a solid sorbent such as powdered activated carbon (PAC).
