Abstract: Provided herein are protection sheaths or stylus sheaths for a touch screen stylus. Generally, the protection sheath has top and bottom portions disposed around stylus and means for moving the stylus inside the protection sheath. A position-limiting ring and a tightening structure with a spring disposed on the top of the position-limiting ring may comprise the means by which to extend and to retract the stylus tip. The sheath may have a stop clip disposed through the top portion which works with a motion stop on the tightening structure to limit the motion of the stylus. Alternatively, the top and bottom portions may be threaded and the sheath may have a securing top and damper band to secure the stylus within the sheath.

Abstract: Present invention relates to the field of a storage tank design and can be used in the construction of tanks for storing light ends and, preferably, for storing gasoline. The claimed tank for storing petroleum products consists of a body, a roof and a floating protective cover comprised of a plurality of floating elements in the form of solids of revolution having the same shape. In the tank, a portion of the floating elements of the protective cover is situated below the surface of the liquid, and a portion is situated in the gas space of the tank. The distinguishing feature of the proposed invention is the floating elements, which differ from one another in shape and size by not more than 5%. Furthermore, the floating elements that make up the floating protective cover have a centre of flotation that is offset from their geometric centre. All of the elements of the protective cover are made of non-sparking metal.

Abstract: A manway gate assembly couples to a tank and provides a liquid tight seal. The manway gate assembly includes a gate selectively slideable in a first linear direction between an open position, a closed position, and/or an intermediate position between the open position and the closed position. The manway gate assembly includes one or more locking members arranged adjacent to the gate and moveable between a locked position and an un-locked position. When in the locked position, the one or more locking members apply a biasing force to the gate in a second linear direction perpendicular to the first linear direction to seal the gate to the tank and provide a liquid tight seal.

  • Publication number: 20170190509
Abstract: The invention relates to locking devices, more particularly, gravity actuated locking devices, e.g., for waste containers. The locking device is designed to be fixed to a container and contains a gravity operated locking mechanism and a locking unit that couples the gravity operated locking mechanism to a locking bar. The locking bar allows the lid of the container to be blocked or opened depending upon the relative position of the locking bar to the lid. In the blocked position, the locking bar sits over the lid and does not allow it to be opened. In the opened position, the locking bar is removed from the lid and allows the lid to be opened. When in the container is in the upright position, the parts of the locking device cooperate to block the locking bar from being moved from the blocked position. However, when the container is tilted forward, e.g. for emptying the content of the container, gravity, acting on the parts of the locking device, allows the locking bar to be moved to the opened position.

An overspeed assembly includes a swing jaw mounted to the sheave. The swing jaw is movable between a normal position and a tripped position. The swing jaw is biased into the tripped position. When the swing jaw is in the tripped position, rotation of the sheave in a first direction is restricted. A tripping lever is pivotally mounted to the sheave and is configured to cooperate with the swing jaw. Rotation of the sheave in a second, opposite direction is configured to automatically move the swing jaw against its bias to the normal position.
