Abstract: A path plan generating apparatus 10 corrects an RRT path plan that an RRT path plan generating section 22 has generated by processing based on the RRT algorithm, by a path plan correcting section 23 by processing based on the potential method. If the corrected path plan becomes a path plan with which interference between the mobile body 1 and an obstacle A is unavoidable, the apparatus 10 causes the RRT path plan generating section 22 to generate a new RRT path plan.

Abstract: A system including a computing device may receive base map information and trip request information. The base map information may include a plurality of attribute information associated with a plurality of road segments. The trip request information may include a destination to which a user plans to drive a vehicle. The computing device may determine a route for the user to travel based on the trip request information and base map information. The system might further calculate a risk score for each road segment forming the route, and generate a risk map based on the risk score and the route and cost of insurance along the route. The risk map may then be displayed to a user with alerts communicated on the map or via verbal alerts. The risk map may include markers or other objects depicting potential risks along the route the driver may face. Also, the risk map may be updated based on information collected from multiple sensors coupled to the vehicle, mobile phone or insurance database.

Abstract: [Problem] To determine a moving route as appropriate by selecting from a plurality of service providing sites in view of circumstances in which it is or is not allowed to wait. [Solution] A current position obtaining unit 101 obtains the current position of a vehicle 1. A first location candidate obtaining unit 102 obtains a first location. A second location candidate obtaining unit 103 obtains a second location (e.g., an on-street parking lot). A state information obtaining unit 104 obtains, as state information, first location state information and second location state information. The first location state information is information regarding the state of provision of a vehicle parking service at the first location. The second location state information is information regarding the state of provision of a vehicle parking service at the second location. A route setting unit 105 sets a moving route for the vehicle 1 on the basis of the state information obtained by the state information obtaining unit 104.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a magnetic sensor attached to a mobile device detects a magnetic field generated from a magnet attached to an object. A magnetic sensor data processing module generates magnetic sensor data based on the magnetic field, where the magnetic sensor data represents a current position of the magnet of the object. An action processing module processes the magnetic sensor data to determine a movement of the object with respect to the mobile device, while the mobile device remains in a relatively steady location and identifies a predetermined action based on the movement of the object. The predetermined action is then performed within the mobile device.
