Abstract: A carpet stretcher device has an automatic adjusting tube that changes length with telescoping motion of an inside tube and an outside tube. A housing is mounted on the outside tube, and at least one lever is connected to the housing. A hand lever controls the motion of a spring-loaded rotating arm with a locking button positioned within the housing to insert and remove the locking button from holes in the tubes. When lifted away from the housing, the hand lever releases the rotating arms, which rotate to remove the locking button from holes in the tubes and thereby allow the tubes to telescope. The carpet stretcher may also have a floor lever that retracts when the device contacts a floor surface and extends when the device is lifted off a floor surface. Abstract: The present invention relates to a blind-type curtain and particularly, to a blind-type curtain capable of allowing curtain blinds to be individually separated and washed or replaced and allowing a light-transmitting state and a blackout state to be easily controlled since a plurality of curtain blinds are connected to each other by a connector, and allowing the curtain blinds to easily form a “U” shape since an extension plate is formed. The present invention can increase aesthetics by fastening adjacent blackout curtain parts through the connector. In addition, the present invention enables light transmittance in the curtain state, and can use a blackout curtain effect by using rotation (the angle control of verticals) when adjacent blackout curtain parts are fastened through a connector. Additionally, the present invention facilitates individual washing and repair due to contamination or damage since a plurality of curtain blinds can be individually separated.

Abstract: There are provided an endoscopic diagnosis apparatus, image processing method, and a non-transitory computer-readable recording medium that enable easy measurement of the size of a lesion portion or the like based on an endoscopic image captured through a normal operation without a special operation. A region detecting unit detects, from a position in an endoscopic image, a region having a periodic structure of living tissue. An imaging size calculating unit calculates, in number of pixels, an imaging size in the endoscopic image equivalent to a period in the periodic structure in the region having the periodic structure. A pixel size calculating unit calculates an actual size corresponding to one pixel of the endoscopic image. A scale generating unit generates scales indicating an actual size of the subject in the endoscopic image. A control unit causes the endoscopic image and the scales to be combined and displayed on a display unit.
