    Abstract: Systems and methods for stabilizing an aircraft in response to a yaw movement are provided. In one embodiment, a method includes detecting a yaw movement of the aircraft. The yaw movement can cause a front portion of the aircraft to move towards a first side of the aircraft. The method can further include, in response to the yaw movement, initiating a trim process resulting in a thrust differential. The trim process can include increasing thrust in one or more engines on the first side of the aircraft and decreasing thrust in one or more engines on a second side of the aircraft. The method can include controlling the trim process based at least in part on a detected yaw movement of the aircraft.

    Abstract: An anchoring vehicle for anchoring an airship at the tail whilst coupled to a mooring mast at the bow. Airships are generally coupled at the bow to a mooring-mast after landing on the ground. However, vertical gusts can result to a considerable amount of damage to the airship with this mechanism. To avoid such damage, the proposed anchoring mechanism designed as an anchoring vehicle, is coupled via an anchor-mast to the tail of the airship near the height of its middle axis. Thus, the vehicle stabilizes the airship vertically and can independently maneuver horizontally without considerable rolling resistance to a predefined airship position, thus preventing a tilting moment. The all-terrain, autonomous anchoring vehicle captures direction and strength data of horizontal deflection caused by wind power via sensors on the anchoring-mast. A control unit regulates the drive systems for navigation and wheel drive.

    Abstract: A method for producing partially embossed blanks is disclosed. The method is to provide a continuous web of an embossable material, and guide it between two cylinders which emboss its surface. The embossed web is fed to a stamping device to punch blanks from the web. One of the embossing cylinders has a marking which is readable by a first sensor. The first sensor reads the position of the marking and produces a signal which triggers a printing device to produce a print mark on the web identifying the position of the embossing. The print mark is read by a second sensor which produces a signal for controlling and adjusting a feeding distance by which feed rolls supply the web to the stamping device that punches blanks from the web in register with the partial embossing of the blank. A device for conducting the method is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A vessel has an inner flap and an outer flap that fold across a base of the vessel to form a cover. The inner flap includes a dam tab along the outer edge of the inner flap. When the inner flap is folded down, the free edge of this tab contacts the wall of the vessel and bends upward forming a “folded edge” dam. This folded edge dam can either be one segment or be made of two or more segments divided by one or more V-shaped cuts to allow each segment to fold down and fit together seamlessly.     Abstract: Disclosed herein is a flexible liner for a paneled fiberboard carton. The flexible liner is adhesively attached to the inner sides of the carton's panels creating demonstrably stronger carton walls and having the same top-load compression strength as standard, conventionally constructed liners. The flexible liners disclosed herein are unique in their die-cut construction resulting in liner panels, and optionally flaps, that are separated from adjacent liner panels by a plurality of slots and flexibly attached to adjacent panels by a plurality of bridges.
