Abstract: Disclosed herein are bathing garments and methods for showering, for example, outdoors after outdoor activities, such as various sports, fitness competitions, or obstacle races. In one aspect, the bathing garment includes a tubular body panel having an interior surface and exterior surface, a first edge defining a first opening and second edge defining a second opening, the body panel comprising: a plurality of apertures contained within the first and second edges of the body panel, and at least one closure means configured to selectively adjust at least one opening size from a fully open position to a fully closed position. Also disclosed herein are methods for using the disclosed garments.

Abstract: A process for making a educational vestment and accessory including the steps of selecting a story from an educational literary work and choosing an accessory indicative of that literary work. Then printing text and imagery from the story onto an educational vestment and creating a chosen accessory that is manufactured and sold together or separately. A lighting device such as a glow ring is attached to one of the vestments using Velcro fasteners.

Abstract: A protective cuff is fixed in a pant leg or sleeve of a protective garment. The protective cuff includes a fluid/particulate/water dam fixed around an interior circumference of a pant leg or sleeve of a protective garment at an attachment location that is spaced upwardly from a lowermost hem of the pant leg or sleeve. The dam includes a resilient opening to surround and snuggly engage another wearable piece of protective equipment or a wearer's limb received in the opening. A length of loose material extends from the attachment location to the resilient opening to surround the wearable piece of protective equipment or the wearer's limb received in the opening. An anti-wicking guard extends from the lowermost hem to the attachment location and surrounding the interior of the pant leg or sleeve.

Abstract: This invention provides improved printed heaters for use in wearable garments. The improvement comprises replacing the single large area resistive material layer with a number of small patches of resistive material, i.e., replacing the single large area heater with a number of smaller individual heaters. Printing of the resistive material is facilitated since the area of each resistive material patch is greatly reduced. In addition, some embodiments enable the opportunity to provide a breathable heater.

The thickness of the structure may vary in a repetitive fashion along at least a first axis of the structure, and may further vary in a repetitive fashion along a second axis of the structure.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a woven mesh and a safety waist protection belt. The woven mesh comprises a plurality of parallel safety ropes and mesh sleeves which are integrally woven and sleeved on the periphery of the safety ropes. A plurality of tight joint segments are sequentially arranged between adjacent safety ropes at intervals in a length direction. The adjacent mesh sleeves at the tight joint segments are integrally woven. The present invention also provides a safety waist protection belt which comprises the above woven mesh, a face fabric layer, a lining layer, covered edges arranged at an edge of the face fabric layer and an edge of the lining layer respectively and hollow woven belts extending from two ends of the safety waist protection belt respectively. The safety waist protection belt designed with the structure is light in weight, high in tensile strength and comfortable to wear.

Abstract: A functional pair of pants for men and women with spinal injuries that allow improved access to the pelvic region without removal of the pants. A moveable front flap is formed on the pants via side zippers and a top fastening means that extends across the front of the waistband of the pants. Even individuals with limited fine motor skills can manipulate the corded zipper pulls to allow access for changing an ostomy bag, diaper, or catheterization.

Abstract: An article of manufacture comprising of a glove; commonly known to be comprised of a textile fabric or material patterned and constructed in such a way that it contains a pocket for the thumb and a plurality of pockets for the fingers, and extending to, or over the wrist, also covering the palm and back side of the hand meant to be worn by inserting the hand into the article and inserting the thumb and fingers into their respective pockets. The glove contains hook and loop material on the outer surfaces of the palm side, to secure to tools also containing hook and loop material, and the glove contains hook and loop material on the back side and knife edge side, to secure accessories and small tools to be stored on the glove.

Abstract: A system and method for identifying areas of a processing plant in which a glove is damaged. The system includes utilizing color-coded sets of gloves in different areas or processing steps within the plant. All the gloves used in a particular plant are provided with a unique identifier. If a piece of a glove is located in the product within the plant, the color of that piece indicates the area or process of the plant in which the glove was used. If a piece of a damaged glove is located in the product at a remote destination, the unique identifier in that piece is matched with a registry to determine the plant in which the glove was used. The color of the piece then helps the plant to identify where the damaged glove was used. The system and method are particularly helpful in the food processing industry, especially meat processing.

The garments in accordance with aspects herein have one or more chambers filled with a thermally-insulating fill material. The thermally-insulating fill material includes a plurality of crimped thermally-reflective polymer strands. Each strand in the plurality of crimped thermally-reflective polymer strands is crimped to provide an increased reflective surface area for heat deflection/reflection, breathability, and movability of the thermally-insulated garment.

When the weight sensor detects a load, the weight sensor sends an enabling signal to the control module, and the control module drives the air pump to operate according to the enabling signal, so that the inflatable cushion is inflated and expanded.
