Abstract: The present invention is a card that stands perpendicular to a horizontal surface. The card is made up of a single piece of material on which graphic images and letters have been printed and which has been specially shaped and pre-creased to enable a recipient to fold the base part of it so that the display part will rise up perpendicular to or at a raked angle from the horizontal surface on which it is placed. The single piece of material has no removed portions within an external outer edge of the material, capable of forming open apertures; The business/greeting/advertising display card stands upright to a horizontal surface within a line of sight of a viewer. Optionally the straight bottom may have an arcuate surface, capable of making the novelty card oscillate when manually pushed in a rocking side to side motion.

  • Patent number: 10152905
Abstract: Briefly, a method for verifying the visual perceptibility of a display is provided. An intended message is written to a bistable display. Pixels that comprise portions of the message are measured and evaluated to determine if the message actually displayed on the bistable display was perceptible by a human or a machine. In some cases, information regarding the message actually perceivable from the display may be stored for later use. Responsive to determining that a message is perceivable or not perceivable, alarms may be set, one or more third parties notified, or additional display features may be set.

Abstract: A display panel has a first pixel group selected by a first scan line, and second pixel group selected by second scan line. A data line is shared by pixel in the first pixel group and a pixel in the second pixel group. In first scanning period, a driving unit in a circuit device outputs a data voltage with first polarity to the first data line, and outputs data voltage with second polarity, which is polarity opposite to the first polarity, to the second data line. In second scanning period, the driving unit outputs a data voltage with third polarity to the first data line, and outputs a data voltage with fourth polarity, which is polarity opposite to the third polarity, to the second data line. A polarity setting unit in the circuit device sets the first polarity, the second polarity, the third polarity, and the fourth polarity.

  • Patent number: 10152911
Abstract: A power supply circuit includes a comparison circuit, a preset value setting circuit, a reset detecting circuit and a reset signal generating circuit. The comparison circuit compares a first and second voltage to output a comparing result. The first and second voltages correspond to a first and second preset value, respectively. When the comparison result shows that the second voltage is greater than the first voltage, the preset value setting circuit outputs the second preset value; otherwise it outputs a third preset value, which is greater than the first preset value. The reset detecting circuit determines whether the operation voltage of the power supply circuit drops to the preset value outputted by the preset value setting circuit, and outputs a control signal accordingly. The reset signal generating circuit determines whether to output a reset signal for resetting gate lines in a display panel based on the control signal.
