The controller is configured to detect a connection between the first unit and the second unit based on a difference between an electric resistance value (R1) of the generator and a combined resistance value (Rc) of the generator and the resistor.

Abstract: Provided are an atomizer (100) and an electronic cigarette thereof, the atomizer comprising a switching device (1), a liquid storage component (3) and an atomization component. The atomization component is disposed in the liquid storage component (3), and the switching device (1) includes a movable piece (13) and a static piece (14) that are cooperatively arranged, and the movable piece (13) is capable of moving relative to the static piece (14) to make the atomizer (100) switch between two states of liquid injection and gas inflow adjustment. The movable piece (13) and the static piece (14) are each provided with a liquid inlet and a gas inlet. When the atomizer (100) is in the state of liquid injection, the gas inlets are closed to avoid a possible leakage of smoke liquid from the atomization head (5) during liquid injection due to a pressure difference when the gas inlets communicate.

In some aspects, the cartridge includes a housing, and a reservoir disposed within the housing and defining two or more chambers each having an aerosol precursor composition therein. The reservoir is in fluid communication with an aerosol forming arrangement configured to form an aerosol from any of the aerosol precursor compositions, with the respective aerosol precursor compositions of the two or more chambers being directed to the aerosol forming arrangement in substantially equal normal quantities. The user can select a desired output mode according to need, there increasing the user experience.

The polymer layer forms covered fabric areas where the polymer is applied to the fabric layer and noncovered fabric areas where the polymer is not applied to the fabric layer. An elastic modulus of the covered fabric areas is greater than the noncovered fabric areas.

Abstract: Techniques for wirelessly charging smart textiles, such as smart garments, are provided. Aspects of the present application provide a smart garment device with an array of integrated coils and rectifiers that enable wireless charging of the device from a drawer or other enclosure that produces a roughly uniform AC magnetic field. The smart garment can draw power from the magnetic field once placed within the enclosure, regardless of how the garment is placed in the enclosure. The method can be applied to garments of any shape, and multiple garments can be charged simultaneously by placing the multiple garments into the same magnetic field.

Abstract: A private potty-training belt is a garment that provides privacy to the wearer and compartments which allow the wearer to access distracting objects such as, but no limited to, toys. The private potty-training belt includes a waist garment and a plurality of pockets. The waist garment can be wrapped around the waist of an individual such as a child learning to utilize the toilet. The waist garment additionally conceals the area below the waist of the individual which provides privacy to the individual when utilizing the toilet. The plurality of pockets provides compartments which can carry objects such as, but not limited to, toys. The objects, placed inside of the plurality of pockets, can be easily accessed by the wearing individual which keeps the wearing individual occupied when utilizing the toilet.

The covering layer with a high specific heat is clamped between the explosion-proof battery and the heating layer. The covering layer with a high specific heat includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The first surface is attached to the explosion-proof battery and the second surface is attached to the heating layer. The circuit board is installed inside the wear body and electrically connected to the explosion-proof battery.

Abstract: A garment is provided that includes an outer tubular garment portion and an inner tubular garment portion that are each fabricated from the same, continuous piece of protective material. By being formed from continuous portion of material, a user is provided with protection from ingress of fluids around an appendage when such fluid might be otherwise introduced through breaks in the material that rely entirely on a circumferential seam to secure separate pieces of material together. The inner tubular portion is not removable or severable from the outer tubular garment portion but is extendible to allow a user flexibility of use (e.g., stretching) without sacrificing performance. A method of creating a circumferentially continuous fluid impervious seal is also provided.

A first recess of the case is used to retain a mirror on the inner recess surface and provide a recess area for retained other internal component parts. The second recess retaining an applicator/tweezer like eyelash installation tool and rectangular drawer, and a semi-circular recess for retaining two semi-circular eyelash trays. The applicator/tweezer has a rounded proximal end and a two-pronged distal end. In use, a user would take the applicator/tweezer and secure both of the prongs located on the distal end and engage them with the eyelash cartridge. Once the applicator has eyelash cartridges attached, as user would then proceed to press the eyelash on at the desired location. The eyelash would then remain and be retained to the face by glue.

A technique includes determining a fabric's response to a laser, capturing an initial image of a wear pattern on a garment, and processing the initial image to obtain a working image in grayscale. The working image is further processed to obtain a difference image by comparing each pixel relative to a dark reference. The difference image is converted to a laser values image by using the previously determined fabric response to the laser.

Abstract: The device herein disclosed and described provides an eight point military utility cover that does not require pressing to maintain its shape. The utility cover has a cup shaped crown portion, an outer circular rim portion, an inner circular rim portion and a semi-rigid bill portion. The crown portion is prepared from a first piece and a second piece of cloth, wherein a plurality of semi-rigid material sections are adhered to the first piece of cloth; one section on the front, one section on the back, three sections on the left side and three sections on the right side. The second piece of cloth is adhered to the plurality of semi-rigid material sections on the first piece of cloth forming a three layered sheet. This three layered sheet is folded into the cup-shaped crown and the folds are stitched to maintain the cup-shape of the crown.

This invention provides localized compression and massaging action to the origin of the plantar fascia, the most frequently occurring site of tissue damage and pain at the heel. The concentrated compression during weight bearing provides pain relief and brings injured tissues closer together to facilitate healing. The shape of the device and its location at the edge of the heel bone also provide a localized massaging action during ambulation to improve blood circulation, which in turn promotes healing. The device of the present invention may be used as a removable insole or in some instances may be formed into the inner sole of an item of footwear.

The guide members are fixed to the leading end section of the belt, and engage with a wire, which engages the dial unit.
