Abstract: A removable trap for lavatory sinks is provided to enable new technologies to be incorporated into just the water trap portion of the sink trap to maximize the performance of the trap in infection control, while at the same time preserving the trap performance features demanded by major building codes. While a traditional P-trap requires the removal of the entire trap for cleaning or replacement, the removable trap presented in this application allows for easy removal of just the U-bend portion of the trap by releasing latch clamps. The U-bend containing the water is the most vulnerable to attack to cleaning chemicals as well as the most effective locus of innovation in materials and methods employed to reduce infectious bacteria forming biofilms within the lavatory trap.

The spacer includes: a first connecting portion coupled, in use, with the first panel; a second connecting portion opposite the first and coupled, in use, with the second panel; and at least one pipe with at least one lateral opening communicating, in use, outside the formwork. In the pipe a through hole communicates, in use, with the formwork interior, allowing air passage from the outside towards the inside part and liquid outflow from inside towards the outside of the formwork. Also disclosed is a disposable formwork for the construction of a wall, including two panels and at least one such spacer, arranged between the two panels and coupling the two panels.

Abstract: A method for continuously extruding and depositing an unbroken layer of a slurry or mortar onto a selected work surface uses a mortar gun assembly with a chamber for receiving mortar from a remote supply hopper and an extruder configured to selectively apply a bead or ribbon of mortar of selected thickness onto the work surface. The user selectively applies mortar by controlling a rotating port valve between the hopper and the mortar gun chamber, and the rotating port valve provides a “rest state” in which the mortar is not sent to the mortar gun, but is instead re-circulated by the pump back to the hopper so un-dispensed mortar is kept moving and cannot dry or set.

The knot plate (1) is designed as a substantially circular disc, wherein the knot plate (1) comprises: an aperture (5) arranged substantially in the middle of the knot plate (1), wherein the aperture (5) comprises a substantially circular form, and two through slots (7, 9) for receiving of a binding wire (11) arranged in the knot plate (1) substantially on opposite sides of each other in relation to the aperture (5). The knot plate (1) comprises two grooves (13, 15) for receiving the binding wire, wherein each of the two grooves (13, 15) connects one respective through slot (7, 9) of the two through slots (7, 9) with the aperture (5), each of the two grooves (13, 15) ends in the aperture (5) in a direction that coincides with substantially tangential directions of the aperture (5) so that initially the binding wire substantially follows a wall of the substantially circular formed aperture (5).

Abstract: A post for anchoring to a structure. The post comprising an elongate member, a lower jaw secured to the lower end of the elongate member, and an upper jaw releasably securable to the elongate member to permit an adjustment of the distance between the jaws. The post includes a compression clamp secured to the upper jaw and releasably engagable with a surface of the structure when the post is positioned about thereabout with said upper jaw adjacent to one surface of the structure and said lower jaw adjacent to the opposite surface. The compression clamp includes a visual indicator to provide visual notice of the application of sufficient compressive force to secure the jaws on opposite sides of the structure in order to accommodate a predetermined lateral load upon the elongate member and to resist the disengagement of the post from the structure.

Abstract: A method of remediating a water-damaged masonry structure without removing any masonry from the building, and simultaneously providing water proofing to the structure. The method involves installing a parging coat of a reliner to the pest control wire over cleaned weep holes in masonry and to a water damaged interior portions of an installed masonry exterior wall. The reliner is cured. The method involves caulking a sill plate with gasket to a foundation of the water damaged masonry structure with a silicon sealant after installing the reliner. Next each wag panel is connected to the water damaged studs forming a continuous seamless structure in the remediated structure that prevents water incursion into the structure after remediation of at least 95% and without removing the masonry.
