Abstract: A sealed and squeezable container of pre-filled squeezable food that is sized no larger than a single meal serves as a prepackaged, one-time-use, meal-appropriate enteral food dispenser. By one approach the squeezable container has a dispensing port comprising a direct feeding tube connector. By one approach a flow limiter serves to limit a flow rate of the squeezable food from the squeezable container through the direct feeding tube connector. By another approach, in lieu of the foregoing or in combination therewith, a one-way valve can be disposed to prevent material (such as gas or other contents of the consumer's digestive system) from entering the squeezable container via the direct feeding tube connector.

Abstract: A container system for liquids includes a container body with a mouth, a resilient stopper and a cap. The stopper has a body portion closely received within the mouth, and an annular flange projecting radially outward from the body. A resilient annular spring element is located between the flange of the stopper and the cap, and biases the flange against the mouth of the container when the container is assembled and maintains a seal between the flange and cap. In one embodiment, the spring element has a unitary, tear-drop shaped geometry in cross-section with a rounded bulbous body portion smoothly tapering to a curved, radially-inwardly projecting lip, although the spring element could have other asymmetrical configurations such as a cone, helical, V, S or C shape in cross-section. The spring element defines at least two separate points of contact between the flange of the stopper and cap.

Abstract: An animated toy box assembly for stimulating a child to put away toys includes a box that may contain toys. A lid is hingedly coupled to the box such that the lid selectively closes the box. A pair of eyes is coupled to the lid to resemble monster eyes. An interaction unit is coupled to the box and the interaction unit selectively emits audible sound. The interaction unit detects motion thereby detecting when toys are positioned in the box. Moreover, the interaction unit emits the audible sound when the interaction unit detects motion. In this way the interaction unit stimulates a child to place toys in the box.

Abstract: The inventive technology includes a novel container dome profile and manufacturing process for improving container and bottle deformation failure resistance and extending material displacement modes through an initial deformation panel coordinated with complimentary geometric paneling and buttressing structures configured to initiate a controlled sequential dome profile deformation mode. Dome reversal, dome growth, and dome drop resistance characteristics are improved with a shallower profile formation depth, reducing pulldown, and lowering material consumption, resulting in lower overall container/bottle weight. Novel geometric contoured shapes enhance container resistance performance, supporting use of softer alloys or lower temper and yield strength to benefit post-processing efficiency and forming processes improvements while being configured to initiate controlled sequential dome profile deformation.

The machine element mounted for rotation machine elements (16-19) equipped with a sensor assembly (24) measuring force or pressure, and a counter-pair (15, 20, 33, 44) for said machine element. The machine element is made to rotate against the counter-pair, a measurement signal (25) is generated between the machine element and the counter-pair with the sensor assembly, and recording a reference cross-directional profile (21) of force or pressure generated. Condition monitoring (38) of vibration with the reference profile is by comparison of current signals with the reference so as to detect periodic variation (39.1, 39.2) in the cross-directional pressure profile, and producing visual information (37) from the analysis for monitoring. The invention also relates to a corresponding system, a rotating machine element for the method or the system, and a computer program product.

Abstract: A monitoring device for an elevator system is used with an assembly device for assembling a shaft retrofit and a method for monitoring an assembly platform. The monitoring device monitors movements of an elevator car and includes a sensor system for detecting a movement variable and at least one analysis device that evaluates the detected movement variable and compares it to a threshold. If the threshold is exceeded, a signal output is triggered to actuate a brake/catching device. The monitoring device selects the threshold from specified thresholds based on a state of the monitoring device. The specified thresholds include at least one normal operation threshold, and the monitoring device indicates a normal state as soon as specified connection elements are connected to it. The monitoring device further contains a checking routine for determining a state of the monitoring device, and selects the threshold from specified thresholds based on the state.
