Abstract: An LED lighting array system includes discrete lighting modules spatially arrayed along a support member to provide illumination of items within a display case. The modules have a low overall height that results in them being mounted in a low-profile configuration at various locations along the support member. The modules include a housing with opposed first and second sets of side apertures, a plurality of internal reflecting surfaces associated with the apertures, respectively, an external lens, a multi-sided light engine and a group of side-emitting LEDs. During operation, a first portion of light generated by the side-emitting LEDs is discharged through apertures and the lens into the cooler to illuminate contents therein, while a second portion of light generated by the side-emitting LEDs is redirected by the reflecting surface through said apertures and the lens into the cooler.

Abstract: A mechanical apparatus comprised of a plurality of pods in the form of an annular cylindrical sleeve, a cup and a ring cap. Whereas, the pods containing liquid are to be frozen for the purpose of dynamically discharging its thermal energy to a drink object placed within. The pods of the annular cylindrical sleeve are joined to each other by removable latitudinal elastic bands. Thus allowing the annular cylindrical sleeve to instantly expand/contract to grip varying sizes drink object. In operation, a charged (frozen ice) annular cylindrical sleeve is disposed in the cup; a ring cap is installed to cup to cover and protect the discharging of thermal energy therein from ambient conditions. A drink object in the form of canned or bottled may be inserted in the apparatus to receive desired chill temperature for an extended length of time in ambient conditions.

Abstract: Flue gases are produced in a combustion chamber of a burner unit, in particular for the combustion of exhaust air. Combustion gas can be supplied to a gas burner via a combustion gas line and feed air, in particular exhaust air that can be used as feed air, is supplied to said burner via a feed air line. The feed air is divided into primary air and secondary air by a device. The primary air is mixed with the combustion gas, in a mixing zone, to form a primary air/combustion gas mixture, said primary air/combustion gas mixture being supplied to the combustion chamber. A flue gas re-circulation system comprises a through-flow chamber which is connected to the combustion chamber and in which the secondary air is mixed with the flue gases occurring in the combustion chamber to form a secondary air/flue-gas mixture. The secondary air/flue-gas mixture is supplied to the primary air/combustion gas mixture in the combustion chamber by means of a device.

Abstract: An air-cooled condenser system for steam condensing applications in a power plant Rankine cycle includes an air cooled condenser having a plurality of interconnected modular cooling cells. Each cell comprises a frame-supported fan, inlet steam header, outlet condensate headers, and tube bundle assemblies having optionally finned tubes extending between the headers. The tube bundle assemblies may fabricated into an A-shaped tube structure. The tube bundles are self-supporting without support from any part of the frame between top and bottom tubesheets of each bundle. The condensate headers may be slideably mounted to the frame for thermal expansion/contraction. Steam circulating in a closed flow loop on the tube side from a steam turbine is cooled in each cell by ambient air blown through the tube bundles, thereby forming liquid condensate returned to the Rankine cycle. The present design further provides a longitudinal and vertical thermal expansion restraint system.
