Abstract: In implementations of a pressure lock retention fastener, the fastener assembly includes an insert sized for insertion into a fastener hole in a first panel. The fastener assembly has a threaded collet sized to slide in the insert and has expandable flanges that extend below the insert. The expandable flanges are sized for insertion into an aligned hole in a second panel. The fastener assembly also includes a screw installable through the insert to engage the threaded collet. The screw exerts a force that pushes the expandable flanges outward as screw rotation drives the screw into the threaded collet, and ridge locks of the expandable flanges seat up against the second panel effective to fasten the panels together. In implementations, a plate is installable between the panels with slotted holes having anti-rotation tabs that prevent a fastener assembly from spinning in the panel holes.

Abstract: A valve assembly for an air spring includes a body having an opened end disposed in communication with a first tank and a closed end. The body defines a cavity separated by a divider into an upper and a lower portion. The body defines at least one upper orifice in communication with the cavity and a second tank; and at least one lower orifice in communication with the cavity and a third tank. An actuator is disposed in communication with the first, the second, and the third tank. The actuator is rotatable from a first position wherein the actuator is in communication with the first tank alone to a second position allowing communication between the first and the second tank, a third position allowing communication between the first and the third tank, and a fourth position allowing communication between the first, the second, and the third tank.

Abstract: An isolator device comprises a first mount coupleable to an input structure subject to shock and/or vibration energy, a second mount coupleable to an object to be isolated (e.g., an electronics device). A flexure structure is coupled between the first and second mounts, and comprises a plurality of parallel flexures, a series of flexures, and a plurality of transition portions, all defining an isolation path between the first and second mounts. The parallel flexures are tuned to resonant frequency to attenuate shock and/or vibration in an axial direction relative to a normal axis. The series of radial flexures are tuned to resonant frequencies to attenuate shock and/or vibration energy in both radial directions relative to the normal axis. The isolator device can be a single piece of metallic material. An elastomeric damping material can be disposed within openings defined by the flexure structure to dampen response at the isolator's resonant frequency. Associated systems and methods are provided.

Abstract: This invention is an all gear infinitely variable transmission that is non-dependent on friction. It can me be used in high torque applications. It offers a steady and uniform output for a steady and uniform input. It allows a co-axial input and output thereby by using a planetary gear system the output can be made continuous from for to reverse. This uses a “scotch-yoke” mechanism to convert rotational motion to a linear reciprocating motion. The linear distance of this reciprocating motion—“stroke” is changed by altering the crankpin location of the scotch-yoke mechanism. This reciprocating motion is converted to a rocking motion by using a “rack and pinion” and later converted to a unidirectional motion via a One-Way-Bearing. A set of non-circular gears are used to achieve a steady and uniform output. It employs a very simple mechanism to change the ratio between the input and output of the transmission.
