Abstract: In the state of the art, numerous trays are known, so as to protect clothing from crumbs or droplets that fall down when eating a meal during a car ride or train ride. It is true that these trays catch everything, as desired, but for the remainder they are quite impractical, since the open tray with the droplets or crumbs stands in the car or train and must be cleaned before being stowed away or is actually only available as a disposable solution. Other solutions are too large to be conveniently stowed away after use. For this reason, a foldable tray is proposed, which can be folded up in sealed manner after use, into a compact unit, without the crumbs or droplets being able to exit from the unit. This is possible by means of division of a base plate having a connected apron, wherein the base plate consists of two parts that can be folded up, between which the apron can be laid.

Abstract: A padded double-strap hand wrapping apparatus and method of wrapping the hands prevents injury to the knuckle, hand, and wrist areas, resulting in a supportive and protective hand wrap which can be used in conjunction with boxing and bag gloves. The hand wrapping apparatus is operable along a wrapping path by wrapping the knuckles inside a resilient wrap body having a padded insert fabricated from a deformably resilient material. The fingers are inserted inside a correspondingly sized finger retention members that couple to the upper end of the wrap body. A left and right strap, connected at their proximal ends to the wrap body, are wrapped at a desired tautness to achieve a compression against the hand. The straps form an orthogonal relationship that reinforces the wrapping around the wrist, knuckles, and wrap body. Left and right strap fasteners securely fasten the corresponding strap after wrapping around the hand.

Abstract: Described is a transformable garment comprising a base portion and at least one extension portion stored in at least one pocket of the base portion when the at least one extension portion is not in use, wherein the at least one extension portion is adapted, when in use, to cover at least an extremity of a wearer of the garment and less than ? of the body surface of the wearer covered by the base portion, and wherein the at least one extension portion is permanently connected to the base portion along the majority of a connecting edge between the at least one extension portion and the base portion.

Abstract: A two-piece coat or jacket that has a removable liner is provided with a hook and loop fastener strip along it's lower hem. The lining, being removable, can be inverted and secured back to the outer shell via the hook and loop fastener, thereby forming a suitable, insulative sleeping bag for use by individuals unexpectedly caught out of doors overnight.

Abstract: A nighttime hand signal system, having primarily a glove or fingerless glove having a backside, one or more infrared (IR) reflective material patterns affixed to the backside of the glove, an infrared (IR) light source, a night vision optical viewer, and thus functions to have the glove used by forward personnel in a police or military unit to provide a variety of hand signal communications to rear personnel using night vision optical viewer, as well as identify friend verse enemy personnel.

Abstract: An evaporative neck cooling device made from a plurality of separate circular fabric bands that are stacked one on top of another and are held together by a pair of fabric clasps that are each tied together in a nail knot at opposite sides of the stacked plurality of circular fabric bands, thereby providing a smooth wearable evaporative cooling device, and wherein the separate circular fabric bands provide increased surface area to enhance evaporation yet also cover one another to slow evaporation such that when the separate fabric bands jostle around one another on the user's neck, they permit different bands be exposed to the ambient air and different bands be covered by other bands at different times.

Abstract: A sleeve cuff is provided for a sleeve comprising an anterior patch affixed to the sleeve and covering at least a portion of a cutout in the sleeve, a distal strap affixed to the sleeve and spanning over at least a portion of a cutout in the sleeve, and the distal strap overlapping at least a portion of the anterior patch to form an aperture for receiving a thumb therethrough. The sleeve cuff has a plurality of configurations, including at least a closed configuration where the aperture is closed and minimizes the wearer's exposure to wind and air elements therethrough, and an opened configuration where the aperture is opened and minimizes the air penetration around the received thumb.

Abstract: A garment comprising a plurality of panels connected to one another at respective seams. The plurality of panels includes a front panel and a center back section opposite from the front panel. The center back section defines a center panel axis that is co-axial with a center axis of the garment. A shoulder panel extends between the front panel and the center back section, wherein the shoulder panel is configured and adapted to support and pull back a wearer's shoulders.

Abstract: Disclosed is a garment comprising a hooded-coat and overalls designed for improved durability and comfort. The garment is waterproof throughout. The coat has an outer layer of Kevlar fabric in the abdominal region, the outer edges of the sleeves, and along the hem. The overalls have an outer layer of Kevlar fabric on the front of the legs and on the seat. The hood and coat sections each have light reflective stripes for greater visibility and safety. There are also built in knee pads, pockets, and openings for comfort, storage, and ventilation. The garment is particularly well suited for outdoor workers exposed to weather extremes and hard, abrasive contact with the environment.

Abstract: A string fastening device which may be used for easily winding and fastening strings provided in shoes, bags, clothes, or the like is provided. The string fastening device includes a base; a fixation member coupled to the base to maintain state in which the bobbin is stored in the base; a rotational member coupled to the fixation member and rotating the bobbin; and a string suspension member provided in the bobbin and fixing a string.

Abstract: An adjusting strap adjusts the tube orifice diameter of a flexible tube-shaped object and has an inner annular wall, an outer annular wall, and an interlayer between the inner annular wall and the outer annular wall. The adjusting strap has a head portion, a tail portion, and a flexible rope strap portion between the head portion and the tail portion. The tail portion comprises a tail housing, and an avoidance hole passing through the tail housing and available for the head portion and the rope strap portion to pass through. When the adjusting strap is mounted in the flexible tube-shaped object, the head portion passes through the avoidance hole and penetrates the outer annular wall of the flexible tube-shaped object, the rope strap portion is partially received in the interlayer, and the tail portion is completely received in the interlayer and is connected to the flexible tube-shaped object.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a garment, such as a shirt, having first and second sleeves, each of which comprises a sleeve retention mechanism that includes (a) a button affixed to an exterior surface of the sleeve and (b) a tab loop affixed to an interior surface of the sleeve. The shirt is configured so that, when the sleeve is rolled up, i.e. when the distal end of the sleeve is folded outward and toward the proximal end of the sleeve, a predetermined number of times, the tab loop is positioned substantially adjacent to the exterior button so that the tab loop may be secured to the button to retain the sleeve in the rolled-up position.

Abstract: Clusters of artificial lashes are initially formed using, for example, a hot melt method in which artificial hairs secured to one another following exposure to a heat source. Multiple clusters can then be connected to one another to form a lash fusion. For example, a lash fusion could include three clusters that are connected together in a straight line. Multiple lash fusions can be arranged proximate to one another to form a set. In some embodiments, the multiple lash fusions are positioned such that the form of the set matches the curvature of the tightline of an eyelid. An adhesive can then be applied to the top of each lash fusion in the set, which enables an individual to easily apply the set directly to the underside of the individual's natural eyelashes (i.e., near the underside of the eyelid beneath the lash line).

Abstract: A liner for a hat and a hat with a liner is provided comprising a smooth material sewn together, according to a pattern, covering an interior portion of the hat. An attachment apparatus removably attaching the liner to the interior of the hat is included on the hat and liner. The hair of the hat wearer is thereby protected from damage and breakage while wearing the hat.

Abstract: This Abstract will protect the Flyte Kap from anyone from copying my design. The Flyte Kap that has two bib visors that are both detachable. It also provides protection from the sun and comes in assorted detachable colors.

Abstract: It is common for the organizers of endurance sports to provide aid stations along the route where participants may receive water to prevent dehydration. To reduce waste at these events, organizers encourage ‘cupless’ races that requiring participants to carry their own vessels. The present invention comprises a hat with a visor, such as a baseball style cap, with a collapsible drinking vessel integrated into the visor. During the course of the race, a runner may encounter a water stop and require a vessel to contain the liquid for immediate consumption. At such time the runner can simply remove their hat and configure the vessel to the open position to receive the liquid. Post-consumption the vessel is configured back to the closed position and becomes seamlessly integrated into the visor with no negative effects upon the runner.

Abstract: A suspension band assembly to be used to support a hard hat on a head of a user. The suspension band assembly includes a primary support loop to receive the head of the user therein. An electronic peripheral is fixedly secured to the primary support loop. An attachment strap extends out from the primary support loop to a strap distal end. An anchor is fixedly secured to the strap distal end for securing the attachment strap to the hard hat. An electrical anchor contact is fixedly secured to the anchor to provide an electrical connection between the hard hat and the electronic peripheral located on the primary support loop.

Abstract: A helmet for a head of a user with a liner with an outer shell and an energy management layer having an inner surface and a lower edge surrounding the inner surface at a helmet opening, at least two coupling points located on the inner surface proximal to the lower edge, at least one flexible forehead strap following the lower edge of the energy management layer and inwardly offset from the inner surface, at least two prongs comprising a stem and a head, the head having a larger cross-section than a cross-section of the stem, wherein the stem is attached to and projects away from the flexible forehead strap towards the inner surface and the head couples with the inner surface at one of the at least two coupling points, a continuous gap between the inner surface and the flexible forehead strap extending around an entirety of the lower edge.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods, devices, and systems for improved protective clothing such as helmets and protective headgear, including improvements in modular, semi-custom or customized helmet liners and/or inserts to enhance wearer comfort and reduce the deleterious effects of impacts between the wearer and other players and/or objects in all types of wearer activities (i.e., sports, military, equestrian, etc.).

Abstract: A helmet mounted visor includes a lens that may be configured to extend across substantially all of a user's face. The helmet mounted visor may include a pair of mount arms coupled to the lens and each configured to releasably mount to a mount attached to a helmet. The pair of mount arms may each including first, second and third portions. The first portion may be rotatably coupled to the second portion about a first axis. The first portion may be rotatably coupled to the third portion about a second axis. The second axis may be generally perpendicular to the first axis. A locking mechanism may be provided and configured to selectively retain the first portion relative to the second portion in and between a use position where the lens is positioned in front of the user's face and a stowage position where the lens is positioned proximate the top of the helmet.

Abstract: The HATDANA HAT simply put based on apparel industry guidelines for head sizes and hat sizes, is a more efficient and economical manufacturing process of making several hats from one same square yard of fabric. By being able to cut several two specific shapes a Rectangle (brim) and Triangle (crown) from one same square yard of fabric and stitching with one stitched seam one each of those two specific shapes together in a particular way a Rectangle and Triangle yields one hat. Being able to cut several Rectangles and Triangles from one same square yard of fabric yields several hats. Each hat covers head in entirety based on the hat making industry's own understanding of hat and head sizes.

Abstract: The double visor hat reduces exposure to sun like many other hats but is unique in that it provides additional ventilation for maximal air circulation. This additional ventilation helps the wearer of the hat remain cooler in direct sunlight as compared to other hats. The hat achieves this additional ventilation without added sun exposure by a design that includes multiple visors that are staggered in such a way as to block sunlight but still allow for the significant ventilation.

Abstract: Described are shoes, particularly a sports shoe, having an upper and at least one of an outer sole and a midsole connected to the upper. As examples, the outer sole is knitted in a unitary fashion with the upper. As further examples, an insert is positioned within the one-piece knitwear, wherein the insert comprises a profile that increases traction of the outer sole.

In one embodiment, a footwear article comprises a first cord forming a first plurality of loops, a second cord forming a second plurality of loops, the second plurality of loops slippably-engaged and intertwined with the first plurality of loops to form at least a portion of an upper configured to at least partially enclose a foot, and a heel strap comprising a heel counter and a connection cord, the connection cord fixedly intertwined with at least the first cord, the heel strap is adjustable from a first position to a second position. Abstract: An outsole is formed of a viscoelastic body containing a rubber component. This viscoelastic body has a loss factor measured by a dynamic viscoelasticity measurement under conditions of a temperature of 23° C., a frequency of 10 Hz, a static strain of 10%, and a dynamic strain of 7% being 0.17 or more, a storage elastic modulus measured by the dynamic viscoelasticity measurement being 5.7 MPa or less, and a ratio of a tensile stress at 300% elongation to a tensile stress at 100% elongation being 4.4 or more. Such outsole is excellent in wet grip performance and durability.

Abstract: A rubber composite includes a textile layer and a rubber layer. The textile layer has an upper surface and a lower surface. The textile layer has multiple meshes formed by weaving or knitting at least one yarn. The rubber layer covers the upper surface and the lower surface of the textile layer, and a portion of the rubber layer extends into the multiple meshes to be located between the upper surface and the lower surface of the textile layer.

Abstract: The present invention provides a shoe material part mainly composed of a coffee ground material, a porous material and a rubber-plastic material, and is made of a recycled waste porous material and recycled waste coffee grounds, which can improve the value of waste recycling and reuse, and reduce environmental pollution, in addition to reducing waste, there will be no residue pollution of natural ecology and other issues in the subsequent environmental recycling, quite in line with environmental requirements. In addition, the present invention has the function of natural deodorization, because the coffee grounds can naturally diffuse the aroma of coffee, and the characteristics of better deodorization and air permeability of the coffee grounds can be used to reduce the foul smell of a user's foot.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a sole structure to be combined with a shoe upper, comprising an outsole, a carbon fiber sheet and a thermoplastic elastic sheet. The outsole has a side wall to be adhered to the shoe upper. The carbon fiber sheet is disposed on the outsole. The thermoplastic elastic sheet adheres to the carbon fiber sheet to form an upper-layer structure, wherein the upper-layer structure is adhered to the shoe upper.

Any of the first and second tensile structures may include one or more textile tensile members. The first and second tensile structures may be bonded to the outer barrier in different areas of the outer barrier that are in fluid communication with each other. The first tensile structure may have a height greater than a height of the second tensile structure. In turn, the relative locations and differences of height between the tensile structures may impart a contour to the chamber.

Abstract: An article of footwear includes an upper and a tensioning mechanism operable to move the upper between a tightened state and a loosened state and including a tensioning cable having a first end disposed on one of a lateral side and a medial side of the upper. The tensioning cable is movable in a tightening direction to move the tightening mechanism into a tightened state and movable in a loosening direction to move the tightening mechanism into a loosened state. The article of footwear also includes a locking device disposed on the one of the lateral side and the medial side of the upper. The locking device is operable between a locked state restricting movement of the tensioning cable in the loosening direction and an unlocked state permitting movement of the tensioning cable in both the loosening direction and the tightening direction.

Abstract: The Lace Ratchet Device (LRD) facilitates lace fastening and release. The LRD has two states: “active” and “inactive”. In the active position the device works as a lace ratchet allowing the lace to be pulled forwards but restricting any lace motion backwards. After fastening the lace remains fastened until the LRD is switched into inactive state by manually pressing a lever. Each LRD has a turning gate rotatably installed diagonally in a channel with front end which is covered with sheet metal with sharp edge. A preloaded spring keeps the LRD in active position when the lever is not pressed. The LRD doesn't employ serrated surfaces, which cause accelerated lace wear. Instead, the LRD's smooth front edge side and channel surfaces minimize lace wear. Parallel configurations of LRD pairs are suitable for fastening footwear and can be coupled with a clasp which clasps the laces' front ends to prevent dangling.

Abstract: Provided is a lace adjustment device for adjusting a lace provided at a shoe or clothes, the device including: a housing having a lace insertion hole into which the lace is inserted; a fixing lever, disposed in the housing, for fixing the lace inserted into the housing; and an elastic member disposed in the housing and providing an elastic force to the fixing lever such that the fixing lever presses the lace inserted into the housing. According to the lace adjustment device according to the exemplary embodiments of the present invention, a user may conveniently adjust a length of a lace provided at a shoe, clothes, or the like by simply pressing a button instead of directly pulling and tying, from both sides, the lace attached to the shoe, the clothes, or the like.

Abstract: The object of this invention is to provide a cover for a shoe which prolongs the life or modifies the physical characteristics of the area which the cover protects. In some embodiments the cover encompasses at least a portion of the upper toe region, in other embodiments the cover encompasses at least a portion of the outsole, and in other embodiments the cover encompasses at least a portion of both the upper toe region and the outsole. Various embodiments of the cover are made of different of materials and textured features in order to alter traction coefficients and prolonging the life of the shoe. In some embodiments the cover is permanently attached to the shoe and in other embodiments the cover is removable. In some embodiments the cover is made of a flexible material and in others it is ridged.

Abstract: An impression device has a base having a recess and a conduit for fluidly coupling the recess to a vacuum source configured to temporarily apply a vacuum pressure to the recess. The device has a first plurality of particles positioned in the recess, the first plurality of particles sealed from an external environment and consisting essentially of a plurality of circular glass beads. The device has a flexible membrane coupled to the base adjacent to the first plurality of particles and holding the first plurality of particles in the base. The first plurality of particles has a first coefficient of friction between each other selected to allow the particles to move relative to each other in the absence of the vacuum pressure and to prevent the particles from moving relative to each other in the presence of the vacuum pressure.

Abstract: A shoe upper pad printing and moulding system includes a pad printing machine, an imprint device and a turntable. The turntable is provided with a plurality of positioning portions. With the pad printing machine arranged beside the turntable, and the turntable serving to carry the object, it only needs to micro-adjust the processing positions of the pad printing machine and the imprint device before processing to align the pad printing position and the imprint position with the same parts of the positioning portions, the pad printing position and the imprint position can accurately fall in the same parts of the object during processing, so that the yield of finished products can be improved and labor and time costs can be reduced.
