  • Patent number: 10633902
Abstract: A hydraulic door closer capable of reducing oil-pressure therein at high temperature, comprises a housing with an oil chamber, an oil storage cavity, and a piston in the housing of the hydraulic door closer. The oil storage cavity is in communication with the oil chamber; when the oil temperature increases, hydraulic oil in the oil chamber and oil storage cavity generates an increased oil pressure move the piston, whereby volume of the oil storage cavity is enlarged, such that oil from the chamber will flow into the cavity, to reduce the oil pressure of the chamber and cavity. When the oil temperature decreases, the oil pressure in the chamber and cavity is reduced, whereby the storage piston restores its original position, whereby volume of the cavity will be reduced, and the oil in the cavity flows back into the chamber. The pressure in the oil chamber is reduced when the hydraulic oil expands due to increased temperature to prevent failure of the seal and to avoid hydraulic oil leakage.

  • Patent number: 10633909
Abstract: A controlled, motorized mechanism to actuate a sash type window opened and closed. The system provides a set of motors, each positioned on either side of a window, that are controlled by a motor controller that receives feedback on the progression of rotation of the motors as they actuate each side of the window. The feedback is then utilized to control each of the motors. This controlled system ensures that one side of the window does not become raised or lowered further in its channel than the opposite side—or “racked”—and thus increase the friction against the frame that would disable any further progress actuating said window.

  • Patent number: 10633928
Abstract: A method of forming a polycrystalline diamond compact includes forming a polycrystalline diamond material at a temperature and a pressure sufficient to form diamond-to-diamond bonds in the presence of a catalyst; substantially removing the catalyst from a volume of the polycrystalline diamond material from a first surface to a first leach depth; and substantially removing the catalyst from a volume of the polycrystalline diamond material from a second surface to a second, different leach depth. A polycrystalline diamond compact includes a polycrystalline diamond material having a first volume, a second volume, and a boundary between the first volume and the second volume. The first volume includes a catalyst disposed in interstitial spaces between diamond grains. The second volume is substantially free of the catalyst. The boundary's location is selected to control thermal stability and/or impact resistance.

Abstract: A system and method for reducing the annular fluid volume in a wellbore to increase the lift efficiency of a lift system. In the preferred embodiment, a plunger lift system is installed in combination with a production tubing containing one or more joints with an increased outer diameter created by surrounding the joints by a material comprised of a differing composition than the composition of the joints. The increased outer diameter joints are placed in the liquid filled portion of the casing annulus above the setting depth of the plunger to reduce the accommodation space to liquids, resulting in a reduced annular liquid volume and an increase in the lift efficiency of the plunger lift system.
