Publication number: 20200132372Abstract: Hot air drying is an intensive energy consuming process, 5000-8000 kJ per kg of water. More efficient processes produce low drying rates or cannot totally dry the product because they do not integrate the four drying phases, warm up, constant drying, falling drying and aeration and do not handle dripping. To reduce the energy consumption, the exhausted mix of air and vapor is used as working fluid to drive each phase, and the dripping is collected before it goes back to the product. This fluid is compressed inside of a heat-exchanger to heat the product; however, the mix proportion, vapor and air, changes on each phase. For warm up phase, the working fluid is either hot air or condensed water; in constant phase, it is mostly vapor; in falling phase, it changes from vapor to air; and for aeration, it is air. Inlet and outlet valves control these proportions.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 12, 2018Publication date: April 30, 2020Inventor: Jorge Alonso Diaz

Publication number: 20200132411Abstract: A shooting controller of a paintball gun includes a mechanical shooting apparatus, an electric shooting apparatus, a pneumatic apparatus, and a switching apparatus. Operating the switching apparatus may switch the paintball gun between a mechanical shooting mode and an electric shooting mode. In the mechanical shooting mode, the mechanical shooting apparatus drives the pneumatic apparatus to shoot a paintball when a trigger is pulled. In the electric shooting mode, the electric shooting apparatus drives the pneumatic apparatus to shoot a paintball when a trigger is pulled.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 30, 2018Publication date: April 30, 2020Inventor: KUAN TING LIN

Publication number: 20200132412Abstract: A projectile launching apparatus includes a bolt (for chambering a projectile) and a bolt valve with a gas passageway for communicating the gas from a chamber housing to a breech assembly. Gas received within the gas chamber is compressed by a piston and communicated through the breech assembly to a projectile. The compressed gas expands in the barrel, thereby propelling the projectile out of the barrel in a single stroke of the piston. The bolt may be returned to an initial position by a magnet and/or spring that is coupled to the valve, and the piston may be returned to an initial position by way of vacuum pressure. The bolt valve may also include a mechanical retention element such as a sear and a release pin. The sear may the bolt in a first position until the piston from the compressor has moved sufficiently to push the release pin.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 27, 2018Publication date: April 30, 2020Inventor: Christoper Pedicini

Publication number: 20200132413Abstract: A pen gun firing assembly for a pen gun which comprises a firearm cylinder having a firearm barrel at a first end and a spring seat at a second opposite end, the firearm cylinder having a non-linear track in an outer surface thereof. A firing mechanism is receivable within the firearm cylinder which comprises a firing pin having a lateral engagement projection which is held captive by the non-linear track, and a spring which is compressible against the spring seat. A cocking sleeve which is retractable relative to the firearm cylinder is also provided, the cocking sleeve having a non-linear latching slot, the lateral engagement projection and non-linear latching slot disengaging upon relative rotation of the firearm cylinder and cocking sleeve to trigger firing of the pen gun firing assembly.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 29, 2018Publication date: April 30, 2020Inventor: Rory Patrick William Laing

Publication number: 20200132416Abstract: A flying vehicle is disclosed with a projectile module or component that contains a projectile for projecting at another flying device. The flying vehicle receives an identification of a target flying device and applies a projectile model which generates a determination that indicates whether a projectile, if fired from the projectile component, the projectile will hit the target flying device. The projectile model taking into account one or more of a wind modeling in an area around the flying vehicle based on an inference of wind due to a tilt of the flying vehicle, a projected path of the target device based on its identification and a drag on the projectile as it deploys from the projectile component. When the determination indicates that the projectile will hit the targeted device according to a threshold value, the flying vehicle fires the projectile at the targeted flying device.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 31, 2018Publication date: April 30, 2020Inventors: Eric Christopher TOWNSEND, Matthew Elliott ARGYLE, Norman FONG
