Abstract: The invention describes a tubular projectile which is suitable for being fired in particular by bows or crossbows (such as bolts and arrows), but can also be fired from other shooting devices (for example firearms). The arrow is set in rotation about its longitudinal axis by the air passing through after being fired. The rotation is achieved by elevations or recesses applied to the inner surface, which are primarily designed in a linear manner and, by interaction with the air passing through, create a trajectory-stabilizing rotation of the rod or hollow tube. To this end, the arrow generally requires no or less fletching or other elements that stabilize the trajectory.

Abstract: The invention relates to the field of drilling and blasting operations, and more particularly to confining gaseous explosion products in a charge cavity, and can be used in rock blasting using borehole charges. The technical result of the invention is that of reducing the specific charge of explosive per cubic metre of blasted rock mass, increasing the fragmentation of the rock mass, making it possible for explosive to be loaded into and work effectively in a borehole with excess water pressure (flooded boreholes), providing ease of use and structural simplicity, providing ease of transportation and storage since the device can be dismantled to compact dimensions, and reducing the weight of the structure. A further technical result is the possibility of using devices of a single type in boreholes of different lengths and types (flooded or non-flooded), thus making it possible for the claimed device to be used as a universal device for all types of boreholes.

An elongate sensing module includes a surface finish or surface roughness probe with a stylus tip. This is connected to the probe holder via an adjustable knuckle joint. To determine the geometry of the surface sensing device, including the tip normal and drag vector of the stylus tip, the orientations of the probe holder and the sensing module are determined by probing points which are spaced along their lengths, using a separate probe.

Abstract: Pressure assisted positioning method and device thereof are disclosed in the present invention. The pressure assisted positioning device is exerted for positioning a target under the circumstance of altitude change since the target enters a specific region. The pressure assisted positioning method includes the following steps. First, confirming the entrance of the specific region of the target and detecting a plurality of pressure data. Then, calculating a pressure variation between the two selected pressure data. At last, comparing the pressure variation to a threshold. An altitude change within the specific region is confirmed as the pressure variation is greater than the threshold. On the other hand, as the pressure variation is greater than the threshold, it refers to no altitude change within the specific region.

Abstract: An expandable level capable of expanding from a fully closed position to a fully open position, with full functionality in both positions. The expandable level includes a central body having at least one horizontal bubble, and two slide portions each having two bubbles, where one bubble on each slide portion is also a horizontal bubble. Even when the expandable level is fully closed, the vertical bubble, the diagonal bubble, and both horizontal bubbles on the slide portions are visible. When the expandable level is fully opened, at least one additional horizontal bubble of the central body becomes visible, thereby showing at least five bubbles. The expandable level can be made in a size that makes it easy to carry and store when closed, nevertheless providing a fully-functional and convenient level tool when open. Thus, the expandable level eliminates the need to carry more than one non-expandable level of different sizes.
