Abstract: A scaffold may comprise a first polymeric electrospun fiber comprising a first material having a first degradation rate, and a second polymeric electrospun fiber comprising a second material having a second degradation rate different from the first degradation rate. The first degradation rate may substantially correspond to a cell infiltration rate, and the second degradation rate may be slower than the first degradation rate. Such a scaffold may be manufactured by electrospinning a first polymer fiber having a first degradation rate by ejecting a first polymer solution from a first polymer injection system onto a mandrel, and electrospinning a second polymer fiber having a second degradation rate different from the first degradation rate by ejecting a second polymer solution from a second polymer injection system onto a mandrel. Abstract: The self-propelled high-performance shot-peening machine combined with a scarifying machine, for the treatment of coatings surfaces of bituminous conglomerate, asphalt, concrete or metal, is composed of a shot-peening unit (A-A), a suction, filtering, separation and storage unit (B-B), a scarifying unit (C-C) and a mechanic-magnetic unit (d-D) coupled together. It comes typically to solve the problem of the removal of the new typologies of “drop” or “lamellar” road markings, with subsequent regeneration of the macro and micro roughness of the road coating, subjecting the surface to be treated to two treatments—integrated milling and shot-peening—by a single pass, adapting itself to the road profile and guaranteeing to remove only the protruding part of the road markings, subsequently immediately regenerating the roughness and microroughness of said surface, noticeably reducing the critical factor of the working time, eliminating the possibility of error in the application of the treatment.

The barrier stand has an elongate member and a hollow top section, and at least one slot extending downwardly from the top of the top section, the slot being adapted to receive a cable. A clamping device is located in the hollow section. The clamping device defines a shaft that extends through a bore defined by a guide of the barrier stand. The shaft and guide enable sliding movement of the clamping device towards a clamping position for clamping a cable securely to the barrier stand, and away from the clamping position to release the cable from the barrier stand. The guide is secured to the elongate member thereby maintaining alignment between the clamping device and the elongate member during movement of the clamping device towards and away from the clamping position.

According to a first aspect of the invention, different mechanisms are disclosed for controlling the movement of the brush-holder arms in a horizontal plane, while also damping side and front impacts. According to a second aspect, a sweeper is disclosed, in which the movement of the brush-holder arms (3) in a vertical plane is imparted by a set of four profile members, arranged in two pairs which each forms a deformable parallelogram, wherein the deformation of the parallelogram is actuated by a jack (25) and the own weight of the sweeping arm. The jack is configured to remain below the upper profile members (11) of the two pairs when the brush-holder arm is raised to its maximum height. According to a third aspect, the suction turbine (103) is arranged in such a way that load losses are reduced during the operation of the sweeper.
