Publication number: 20200197712Abstract: Nonwoven resorbable pouches that at least partially enclose implantable medical devices and improved methods for producing the implantable medical device pouches are described. The nonwoven pouches may comprise one or more drugs. Implantable medical devices that are placed in the pouches prior to implantation are prevented from migrating from the site of implantation by tissue ingrowth into the pouch. Antibiotics may be incorporated into the pouches to prevent post-operative infections. The pouches may be formed in fewer steps than conventional pouches, and without polymer coatings. Nonwoven pouches can be formed in one step by dry spinning instead of using multiple processing steps. In embodiments, the nonwoven pouches are smoother on the inside than the outside to tightly fit the implantable medical devices internally while encouraging external tissue ingrowth.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 28, 2019Publication date: June 25, 2020Inventors: Skander LIMEM, David Martin, Said Rizk, Simon F. Publication number: 20200197754Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a novel golf ball having excellent spin performance on approach shots. The present invention provides a golf ball comprising a golf ball body and a paint film composed of at least one layer and formed on a surface of the golf ball body, wherein a base resin constituting an outermost layer of the paint film is a polyurethane obtained by a reaction between (A) a polyol composition and (B) a polyisocyanate composition, and a loss modulus (E?) at the temperature of ?50° C. obtained by measuring a dynamic viscoelasticity of the polyurethane is 1.00×108 Pa or more.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 18, 2019Publication date: June 25, 2020Applicant: Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd.Inventors: Yasuo NAITO, Yuko OKA, Shimpei OYAMA, Tetsuro ABE, Kazuyoshi SHIGA

Publication number: 20200197756Abstract: In a multi-piece solid golf ball having a core, an envelope layer, an intermediate layer and a cover, the intermediate layer is formed into two layers—an inner layer and an outer layer. The surface hardness of the envelope layer-encased sphere, the surface hardness of the inner intermediate layer-encased sphere, the surface hardness of the outer intermediate layer-encased sphere and the surface hardness of the ball together satisfy a specific relationship. This ball has an excellent flight when struck by golfers whose head speeds are not that fast and has a soft yet good feel at impact, thus making it highly suitable for amateur golfers.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 25, 2019Publication date: June 25, 2020Applicant: Bridgestone Sports Co., Ltd.Inventor: Hideo WATANABE

Publication number: 20200197758Abstract: Many headset devices, such as virtual reality helmets, present visuals that respond to the user's motion, such that a rotation of the user's head causes the visual to be re-rendered from a correspondingly rotated perspective. The lag between the user's motion and the updated rendering from the new perspective may be perceivable even at high framerates, and may induce unpleasant feelings such as vertigo. Instead, headset devices may respond to detected motion by identifying a displacement of the physical location of the visual that causes it to maintain a physical position relative to a stationary reference point. The display is operatively coupled with a displacer, such as actuators or a projection adjustment, that are engaged to displace the display according to the identified displacement and maintain a physical location of the visual relative to the stationary reference point (e.g., until the visual is re-rendered from the updated perspective).Type: ApplicationFiled: December 31, 2018Publication date: June 25, 2020Inventor: Benoit Schillings

Publication number: 20200197759Abstract: A light charger charges a plurality of luminescent balls to emit light for use in dim lighting. The charger is a housing subdivided into a hopper section, a transport and light charging section, and a base section. The transport and light charging section includes a transport assembly integrated with a light charging assembly, with the transport assembly configured to receive and transport luminescent balls from the hopper into and through the light charging assembly, which comprises at least one light source. The light source comprises at least one LED and an illuminating light panel interposed between the LED and the luminescent ball when operating. The base section comprises an ejection exit point for the charged luminescent ball to exit the light charging assembly and a sensor for activating the system to eject at least one luminescent ball.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 9, 2019Publication date: June 25, 2020Inventors: Ian L. Publication number: 20200197760Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments of iron-type golf club heads that comprise weight reducing features in the topline region of the club head that facilitate changing the Z-up location of the club head. In some exemplary embodiments, the body comprises a weight reducing feature in a topline weight reduction zone of the club head that extends over the entire face length from the par line to the toe portion ending at approximately the Z-up location of the iron type golf club head. The weight reducing feature results in a mass savings of about 2 g to about 20 g, and a Zup shift of about 0.5 mm to about 2.0 mm.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 26, 2019Publication date: June 25, 2020Applicant: Taylor Made Golf Company, Inc.Inventors: Jason W.
