Abstract: Described herein are example portable indoor hydroponic garden assemblies and associated methods of use. The portable indoor hydroponic garden assemblies can include features that facilitate hydroponic gardening in an indoor environment, including structural features that enhance the indoor environment itself, such as through sounds, smells, textures, sights, and so on. In an example, the portable indoor hydroponic garden system includes a tiered growing assembly housed fully within an enclosure. The tiered growing assembly can include a group of trays defining tiers that are recessed from one another, allowing water or other fluid to flow from tray to tray, creating waterfall features there between that can aerate the water and emit a pleasurable sound to the indoor environment. The enclosure can be climate controlled and thus adaptable to a variety of indoor conditions to grow desired plants, including embodiments using programmable heating and lighting systems.

Abstract: Exemplary systems and methods are disclosed for allocating resources in a breeding pipeline to multiple origins. One exemplary method includes accessing a data structure including data representative of multiple origins, in which the data includes, for each of the multiple origins, a trait performance expression or genotypic component information. The exemplary method further includes determining a resource allocation, which allocates n resources among the multiple origins based on a probability associated with the trait performance expressions and/or the genotypic components for the origins, and then allocating the n resources in the breeding pipeline for the multiple origins, based on the determined resource allocation.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method, which is used with trace amount, can initiate an active endogenous response of plants, and can obtain expected effects such as growth acceleration and yield increase of the plants. The present invention further provides preparation of a signal carrier material for implementing the method. In the method, by utilizing genetic information stored in the plants, the plants can adapt to an environment through a signal which makes the plants mistakenly perceive, thereby achieving an expected objective. The method is suitable for planting of crops in regions with poor natural conditions or severe climate changes.
