Abstract: A separator for separating raw milk into a skimmed milk phase, a cream phase and an ejection phase that comprises solid impurities is disclosed. The separator includes an ejection port arranged at a periphery of the separator to eject the ejection phase. A cyclone is connected to the ejection port to receive and decelerate the ejection phase, and a vessel in fluid communication with an ejection phase outlet of the cyclone to receive and collect the ejection phase from the cyclone. The cyclone includes a port that is open to the atmosphere, such that pressure build-up created in the cyclone when the ejection phase is ejected from the separator into the cyclone is released.

Abstract: An automatic cat litter box cleansing structure includes a base on where the cat litter box is disposed; a horizontal movement module movably disposed on the base and transversely moving along the area in which the cat litter box is disposed; a vertical movement module movably disposed on the horizontal movement module and longitudinally move with respect to the horizontal movement module. With the control module controlling the horizontal movement module and the vertical movement module to move, the shoveling member automatically shovels the cat feces away from the cat litter box, achieving an automatic cleansing function.

Abstract: A rearing cage unit is where an animal is reared individually in an environment at least including a space environment. The rearing cage unit includes an animal residential area that is defined by a floor, a ceiling, and a wall; an excrement collection area that is provided adjacently to the animal residential area; and an excretion sheet that is provided in the excrement collection are to receive excrement of the animal. At least one of the floor and the wall is made of a material including resin, and has an excretion hole that allows the excrement in the animal residential area to be discharged to the excrement collection area, and that has a size that prevents four feet of the animal from entering the excretion hole. The excretion sheet is provided facing the excretion hole.

Abstract: A deployable corral system for any upright wall, including a wall of a transport trailer, provides a readily deployable corral along the trailer, and is readily stowable along the trailer in a retracted configuration for travel. The corral includes a pair of spaced-apart and extendable corral rails with a pivoting cross-rail extending from the distal end of each extendable corral rail. When the extendable corral rails are extended the cross-rails are spaced from an exterior side of the livestock trailer, and when the extendable corral rails are retracted the cross-rail is positioned near an upright wall of the trailer. The deployable corral system optionally includes a manual deployment assist system to assist a user during deployment and stowage of the corral. Additional features may include a deployable shade awning, a deployable trough, and extendable vertical support stands.

The animal food and water bowl system generally includes a platform having a support member and at least one leg extending downwardly from the support member. The support member includes an upper surface and a recessed portion within the upper surface that removably receives a lower surface of bowl. A first connector is adapted for removably connecting the first bowl to the upper surface of the support member in a substantially non-movable manner. At least a portion of the front upper edge of the bowl is below the rear upper edge of the bowl.

Abstract: A system for monitoring individual food intake of a livestock animal includes a calibration system configured to measure weight or volume of food intake of an animal over a pre-defined period of time and to calibrate a mathematical model for the animal based on the measure, a tracking system configured track animal eating behavior at times other than the pre-defined period of time and a computing system. The pre-defined period of time is less than three weeks. The mathematical model relates eating behavior of the animal and defined physiological parameters of the animal with food intake. The computing system determines food intake of the animal over a lactation period based on the mathematical model for the animal as calibrated and the eating behavior at the times other than the pre-defined period of time.

Abstract: An automatic blow-drying device for pets includes a pet cage and a drying unit, wherein the drying unit is arranged on one side of the pet cage and comprises an air source, air supply passages are respectively arranged on two sides of the air source and are provided with heating elements, the pet cage is provided with openings which are matched with the air supply passages to form stationary air ports, the air supply passages on the two sides are matched with the corresponding stationary air ports to allow an air flow to enter the pet cage to form a surrounding drying area, and the drying unit is connected with an adjustable air port used for blowing air into areas, except for the surrounding drying area, in the pet cage. According to the domestic automatic blow-drying device for pets, a pet can be directly placed in the device to be blow-dried after being bathed, so that the situation where water and pet hair spread all around in a house after the pet is bathed is prevented.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for integrated article dispensers for leashes which provide greater handling and responsiveness. One embodiment is an apparatus is in the form of an article dispenser that includes a first end for coupling with a first tensile member, a second end for coupling with the second tensile member, and a rigid housing between the first end and the second end. The rigid housing defines an internal volume for storing articles, and that further defines an opening. In response to the article dispenser bearing a threshold amount of tension, a centroid of the article dispenser aligns within a threshold distance of being collinear with a force that generates the tension. While the centroid of the article dispenser is within the threshold distance of being collinear, rotation of the system about an axis of the forcer applies less than a threshold torque to the tensile members.

Abstract: A hummingbird and oriole feeder having a nectar reservoir that allows the beak of a feeding bird to access a nectar access point to the nectar. An optical sensor senses the bird's beak entering the nectar access point. The optical sensor can include an optical transmitter forming a beam of light that is received by an optical receiver. The intrusion of a bird's beak into the nectar access point, which occurs when the bird is feeding on the nectar, interrupts the beam of light, creating a change in an electrical signal. The electrical signal is sent to a processing unit that counts each time a bird's beak penetrates the nectar access point and displays the count on the display unit. The count can be reset to zero by a reset switch. There can be multiple nectar access points, which are each counted, using a multiplexer.

In addition, a bolt 12 or magnets 32 can be used to hold together the rigid cap 20 and base 26 for fishing or collapsing the arms 30 for storage.
