The valve system is welded to a packet which can contain a hair color formula. One or more of the packets are then used in a cartridge compatible with a dispensing device.

Abstract: A hair styling tool having a comb component and sectioning component is provided. The hair styling tool also may also have a glove component. The glove component may protect a stylist's skin from heat and burns during the styling process, the comb component may allow a stylist smooth and detangle hair, and the sectioning component may allow a stylist easily and precisely section hair to be styled. This hair styling tool can be used for flat ironing, wand curling, blow-drying and hot combing hair to protect the user's hand and allow for more time efficient hair styling.

Abstract: A chair leg mountable coaster assembly includes a plate that is mountable to one of a plurality of legs of a chair. The plate extends laterally from the leg in a single direction that is orientated parallel to a plane that extends through bottom ends of the plurality of legs. The plate is one of a plurality of the plates, each of which is configured to be mountable to a respective one of the plurality of the legs so that each leg is engaged with one of the plates. The plates reduce penetration of the legs into a soft substrate, such as sand, dirt, and soil. The plates are sized to allow multiple ones of the chairs to be stacked without interference by the plates.

A controller is provided that controls movement of the cradle actuator and preferably at least one recline or lift-recline actuator.

A programmable application is accessible on a wireless network and is programmed to provide appropriate settings to attain changes over time of a space within bedding that pertain to at least one of heating the space and realizing a cooling sensation within the space. A wireless receiver is configured to receive commands in a wireless manner that are indicative of the appropriate settings provided by the programmable application to effect changes over time of the space within the bedding attributed to heat transfer with respect to the at least one of heating the space and realizing a cooling sensation within the space. The heat transfer occurs as a result of fluid flow either within a mattress or within space in bedding over the mattress.

Abstract: A mattress foundation for inclusion as part of a bed, to support a mattress, such as one of the type made of foam material and usually marketed and shipped in a compressed, reduced-sized configuration. The mattress foundation is configured to be marketed and shipped to a purchaser as a set of subassemblies and parts that are contained together in a compact package and can be assembled without use of tools. The set of mattress foundation subassemblies and parts can be packed and shipped in a rectangular box made of material such as corrugated cardboard that may be flattened out and incorporated in the mattress foundation. The package in which the subassemblies and parts are contained is small enough to be carried up stairways and through passageways to a bedroom where a bed incorporating the mattress foundation is to be set up for use.

The top layer extends from the top surface of the novel cake-type air bed to the sides of the novel cake-type air bed, and/or the bottom layer extends from the bottom surface of the novel cake-type air bed to the sides of the novel cake-type air bed. The top layer and the bottom layer are joined to enclose and form a cavity of the novel cake-type air bed. The surface of the air bed provided by the invention has no seam line, so that a user cannot make contact with the seam line during sleep, which allows the user to sleep better and more comfortable and is more suitable for the demands of people.

More specifically an apparatus for lifting a mattress, the apparatus including a generally rectangular ring shaped inflatable member with a generally constant cross section configured to be disposed between a mattress and a supporting structure of a bed in an unsecured manner; an air pump in fluid communication with the inflatable member, the air pump configured to inflate the inflatable member to a substantially uniform pressure throughout an entire perimeter of the inflatable member; a power supply in electrical communication with the air pump for providing power to operate the air pump; a switch in electrical communication between the power supply and the air pump configured for activating and deactivating the air pump; and a valve configured to control both inflation and deflation of the inflatable member.

Abstract: A bedding system uses a convolutional neural network (CNN)-based machine vision to makes adjustments for comfort and/or support. The machine vision process identifies a body position by using a trained CNN that receives a pressure image and identifies a body position. The body position may be determined by classifying the pressure image into a predetermined body position classification. The machine vision process includes at least one trained CNN that determines joint locations. The machine vision tracks pressure accumulated at joints over time.

Abstract: A foldable bassinet includes a top rail assembly, a first hinge assembly combined with the top rail assembly, a second hinge assembly rotatably combined with the first hinge assembly, a leg assembly connected to the second hinge assembly and a latch assembly movably disposed on the second hinge assembly. An engaging protrusion protrudes from the first hinge assembly. The leg assembly is foldable relative to the top rail assembly by rotation of the second hinge assembly relative to the first hinge assembly. The latch assembly includes an engaging component pivotally disposed on the second hinge assembly for engaging with the engaging protrusion. The engaging component engages with the engaging protrusion to restrain the rotation of the second hinge assembly relative to the first hinge assembly when the leg assembly is unfolded relative to the top rail assembly to an upright position.

Abstract: This disclosure is directed to product merchandising systems that enable products to be swapped between base assemblies of different product merchandising systems and accommodate different charging/powering capabilities of the products. Product merchandising systems have puck assemblies comprising modular puck upper portions and modular puck lower portions. Various different products may be mounted on the modular puck upper portions, each with a different way of receiving power from the modular puck upper portions. Each modular puck upper portion can be detached from a modular puck lower portion of a product merchandising system and reattached to a modular puck lower portion of another product merchandising system without having to reconfigure a power connection to the product attached to the modular puck upper portion.

Abstract: A combination beverage support and plate assembly accommodating a variety of beverage container configurations is a modular, detachable assembly where the plate member and the beverage support member are removably mated using a pressure-fitted mating mechanism. In a first embodiment, the pressure-fitted mating mechanism is a prong and prong receiving mechanism. In a second embodiment, the pressure-fitted mating mechanism is a clip and clip receiving mechanism. Both mating mechanisms are engaged by slideably pushing the plate and beverage support members together and released by slideably pulling the plate and beverage support members apart. The beverage support member is further configured to accommodate stemmed containers and can alternatively serve as a secondary food well for holding small quantities of food relative to a quantity of food capable of being held in the food well, so as to separate different types of food in a single assembly.

When upright, the post is secured in an approximately ½ inch oval choke to keep in an elevated position, and when condensed, a 90-degree turn allows the post to slide into or onto the oval post above or below. Each bowl has an accompanying airtight lid.

Abstract: Training chopsticks are designed to guide beginners and lifelong users alike to adopt a proper chopstick grip, allowing learners to extend chopstick tips wide apart. The device can accommodate standard hockey stick shaft widths, and enables easy insertion and removal of hockey sticks.
