Abstract: A fabric having a restraining function is fabricated through at least one yarn having thermoplastic fibers, at least one surface of the fabric has hairiness formed with a plurality of thermoplastic hairs, wherein a first restraining hair having a distal end formed with a spherical member and/or a columnar member is formed through at least a part of the thermoplastic hairs, second restraining hair having a distal end formed with an irregular deformed member is formed through at least a part of the first restraining hairs, so that the at least one surface of the fabric is able to provide a restraining function in a horizontal direction and in a vertical direction to a plurality of fibriform loops.

Abstract: A suitcase having a base and a lid where the lid may be rotatable about a hinge from a closed configuration to an open configuration and may be secured, via one or more latching assemblies is disclosed. The lid may comprise an upper shell, and the base may comprise a lower shell. The upper shell and the lower shell may be seamlessly formed to create a water resistant and/or waterproof suitcase. The suitcase may have an extendable trolley handle assembly that is externally attached to the base of the suitcase using a plurality of mounting clips. The trolley handle assembly may comprise a pair of extrusion assemblies that are connected to the base of the suitcase and connected to each other by a grip. The suitcase may also have a removably secured interior liner. The interior liner may include a plurality of grommets and a plurality of fastener portions to releasably attach to the suitcase.

Abstract: A cellphone couplable container assembly having a portable and reusable container operably configured to store liquid contents within an internal cavity while simultaneously retaining a cellphone or other similar electronic device magnetically selectively attached to the exterior of the portable container. In one embodiment, a plurality of magnets with ferromagnetic properties are disposed on the outer shell of the cellphone couplable container assembly and are proportionately shaped and sized to correspond to a cellphone magnet disposed on a user's cellphone. Additional protrusions may provide additional structural support for a more secure of the cellphone to the cellphone couplable container assembly.

Abstract: A multi-module, multi-use utility case to house and protect various items in separate compartments within the utility case, that provides ready access to the various stored items, is disclosed. The multi-module utility case has a plurality of separate compartments used to store and protect various items in separate compartments or modules from other stored items. With respect to the modules, the utility case may have small, medium, and large volume modules, liquid-proof modules, heat insulated modules, spray modules, and tool specific modules such as a mirror, a contact lens case, a hair comb, and a cigar cutter. With respect to expansion capability for the utility case, supplementary elements, such as a charging or energy storage element, or a style plate, may be attached to the outside of case. The utility case may be manufactured from various thermoplastic materials including polycarbonate or polyvinyl chloride, or from various metallic materials.

A hair moisture measurement unit (22) measures a moisture level of the hair (20). A control unit (24) controls the ultrasound unit (12-18) based on the moisture level. A selectively actuatable drive system drives rotation of one or more rotatable bases, each carrying a hair styling element on it. The drive system includes a transmission connecting an actuator to the rotatable base to transmit the movement of the actuator in one direction into rotation of the rotatable base in a first direction. The transmission is configured to prevent rotation of the rotatable base in a second direction opposite to the first direction upon movement of the actuator in an opposite direction. In another aspect the transmission is configured to produce a single 360° rotation of the rotatable base upon movement of the actuator in the first direction.

Abstract: Various systems and methods relate to an adaptive chair system having (i) a stowed mode in which the members of the chair frame are contained within a compact flexible multi-function bag (MFB), and (ii) a deployed mode in which the MFB is adapted to releasably couple to an arm of the chair to provide a multipurpose accessory chamber. In an illustrative example, the MFB may, for example, fold in on itself in an accessory mode. The MFB may provide various utilities for hikers, for example, by providing a case to receive an inflatable bladder so as to form a pillow. The MFB may receive a thermal liner adapted to maintain, for example, food or beverage temperature. Various embodiments may advantageously provide a rugged, water resistant MFB system in an ultralight form factor that serves as a multi-purpose accessory (e.g., to store items), yet provides a compact, adaptive chair frame containment.
