Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for distributed processing in a vehicle networking system. A node in the vehicle networking system receives sets of processed sensor data from multiple nodes in the vehicle networking system. Each set of processed sensor data is generated using a first portion of a data processing algorithm on sensor data captured by different sets of sensors of the vehicle networking system. The node performs a second portion of the data processing algorithm based on the sets of processed sensor data received from multiple nodes, yielding a set of processed aggregated sensor data. The node may use the set of processed aggregated sensor data to provide a computer managed feature and/or transmit the set of processed aggregated sensor data to other nodes in the vehicle networking system.

Abstract: The present technology relates to commercial-scale methods for purifying botulinum toxin compositions obtained from cell cultures. Purification methods according to the present disclosure are based on a series of filtration and chromatographic separation steps that produce a high-purity botulinum toxin composition, which comprises botulinum toxin protein molecules (˜150 kDa) in solution, which is free, essentially free, or substantially free of botulinum toxin complexes and animal products, and without precipitating or lyophilizing botulinum toxin protein molecules. The purification method according to the present disclosure uses no precipitation, lyophilization, or centrifugation steps, permitting production of highly pure, highly active, free botulinum toxin protein molecules (˜150 kDa) in solution, without the need for reconstitution by the end user.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method implements a resilient interdependent spatial alignment (RISA) process to improve and maintain spatial alignment between two associated coordinate systems by moving a follow coordinate system to align it to a lead coordinate system. In some use cases, the coordinate systems may be a physical space and a corresponding digital model of the space. A user device such as an augmented reality headset or robotic sensors may be moving in the physical space, and alignment to the model is continually maintained, updated and improved responsive to acquired spatial data to enable, for example, holographic display of the model in the headset very closely aligned to the physical space. Multiple volumes can each have corresponding digital “spaces” or RisaSites to manage anchor data with dynamic hand-off among them while accommodating differing scale and density.

The plurality of magnets include: first magnets having a magnetization direction orthogonal to a support surface of each of the support members; and second magnets having a magnetization direction parallel to the support surface, and form a Halbach magnet array. Either of the first magnets or the second magnets has a first dimension orthogonal to the support surface which is smaller than a first dimension of the other of the first magnets or the second magnets, either of the first magnets or the second magnets being formed into a recessed shape as viewed from a side of the gap.

Abstract: A first behaviometric user profile for a first user is generated and stored, by detecting a position and velocity of the first user relative to the mobile device based on a received response from a radar transmission while the first user uses the mobile device, the received response over time indicating a position and velocity of the first user. Based on further received responses of additional radar transmissions an additional behavioral pattern of an unknown user is determined. The additional behavioral pattern is then compared to the first behaviometric user profile, and based on the comparison, a measure of similarity between the first behaviometric user profile and the additional behavioral pattern, measuring if the first user and the unknown user are a same user is heuristically determined. As a result of the comparison, operation or access to at least some data stored on the mobile device is prevented.

Abstract: The application discloses a placement system for a door of a wafer pod, including a loadport. A docking interface is formed in the loadport, a placement mechanism is arranged on one side surface of the loadport, and includes a swing component, a follower component, and a docking plate. The swing component and the follower component are respectively connected to the docking plate, and the swing component can drive the docking plate to place the docking plate obliquely above the docking interface. By utilizing the space at the top of the loadport, the structural layout of the loadport is more reasonable; and the docking plate is placed nearly horizontally after the door is placed at a designated position, and provides a supporting force to the door, so that dependence on the vacuum suction is decreased, thereby avoiding the influences due to fluctuations of air pressure.

Abstract: This document describes neuromorphic controllers. In one aspect, a method for controlling one or more joints of a robotic arm includes receiving, by neuromorphic controller comprising a spiking neural network (SNN), a target value of a joint control variable for a joint of the robotic arm. The SNN includes two position proprioceptor neurons, two-speed proprioceptor neurons, a presynaptic inhibitory neuron, an extensor motor neuron, and a flexor motor neuron. The neuromorphic controller updates an actual value of the joint control variable for the joint of the robotic arm based on the target value of the joint control variable. The updating includes generating, by one of the two position proprioceptor neurons, the first spikes to one of the extensors motor neurons or the flexor motor neuron based on a difference between the actual value of the joint control variable and the target value of the joint control variable.

Abstract: An object feature visualization system may include a computing device that generates video-mapped images to project onto physical objects. The video-mapped images may include features to be projected onto the objects. The projection of a video-mapped image onto the physical object allows for the visualization of the feature on the object. In some examples, the computing device receives a feature selection for a particular object, and generates a video-mapped image with the selected feature to provide to a projector to project the video-mapped image onto the physical object. In some examples, a user is able to select one or more features for one or more objects of a room display via a user interface. The system then projects video-mapped images with the selected features onto the physical objects. The system may allow a user to save feature selections, and to purchase or request additional information about objects with selected features.
