Abstract: A device to facilitate urination by a male includes a vessel having a contact surface area at and adjacent a top edge of the vessel configured to be placed in contact with the penis. The contact surface area includes a thermally conductive material and has a shape configured to reduce pressure requirements for urination from a standing position as compared with urinating into a toilet from a standing position. A method of reducing urinary retention in a male includes contacting the penis of the male with a contact surface area of a device, which may be as described above, and urinating while the male is in a standing position with the penis in contact with the contact surface area, wherein the contact surface area comprises a thermally conductive material and is at an initial temperature at least 14° F. lower than a temperature of the penis.

In use, one of the chambers substantially covers a frontal region of a user's head and a front face extending until the cheekbones of the user, and another chamber substantially covers a rear region of the user's head extending from parietal to occipital region. The chambers are isolated from each other by a region extending from mesh covers that attaches one chamber to the other chamber and substantially cover ears of the user. Abstract: An ultrasonic handpiece includes a piezoelectric element assembly. Control signals drive the piezoelectric element assembly simultaneously in a first mode of oscillation and a second mode of oscillation. Feedback of a resulting oscillation of the piezoelectric element assembly in the first mode and the second mode is generated. Based on the feedback, the frequency of each of the first mode and second mode is independently adjusted, as needed, so that the resulting oscillation of each of the first mode and the second mode is each approximately at its respective resonant frequency.

Enhancing a visibility of a second portion of the image corresponding to a second portion of the surrounding environment can be forgone. The enhanced first portion of the image and a view of the second portion of the surrounding environment can be presented concurrently via the display of the wearable head device.

Abstract: A cosmetic composition in the form of a direct oil in water creamy emulsion includes water and oily phases, the water phase including a salt-stable polymeric system that includes polyacrylate crosspolymer-6, xanthan gum, and one or more clay, and high amounts of Vitamin C, oils and emulsifiers and confers a pleasant feel upon application with a smooth, gliding texture and does not severely “pill,” “ball” or “noodle” when applied to the skin. The cosmetic composition does not phase separate into solid/liquid or oily and water based layers.
