Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for memory cell read operation techniques are described. A memory device may determine a starting voltage for a second phase of a read operation for a set of memory cells which may have a different magnitude than a magnitude of a starting voltage of a first phase of the read operation. For example, the memory device may use an ending voltage of the first phase to determine the starting voltage for the second phase. In some cases, the starting voltage for the second phase may correspond to a difference of a voltage offset and the ending voltage of the first phase. As part of the second phase of the read operation, the memory device may apply a sequence of voltages to the set of memory cells in accordance with the determined starting voltage of the second phase.

The selector may comprise a metal-semiconductor-metal (MSM) material stack operable as transient voltage suppression (TVS) device that experiences electrical breakdown at a voltage below a programming voltage of the OTP element. Each input unit comprises information about the association between genetic variants in a region of the genome and a target phenotype. One or more iterations are carried out comprising, for each variant, determining whether the variant is causal for the target phenotype. Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting a subtype of a disease state and for determining the development of a resistance mechanism in a disease are disclosed. One method may include: receiving, at an input component of the system, a set of sequence reads associated with a nucleic acid sample; generating, using a processor of the system and via analysis of the set of sequence reads, methylation data; and analyzing, using the processor, the methylation data to identify the subtype of the disease state. Another method may include: obtaining methylation data from a targeted methylation sequencing assay, applying the methylation data to a trained machine learning model, and receiving an output indicating whether MRD is present in a test subject and/or whether a resistance mechanism has been developed by a disease. Other aspects are described and claimed.

Abstract: A method and system for analyzing sex-chromosome aneuploidies of an individual are provided. In one embodiment, a method comprises training a neural network model based on predetermined information related to at least one sex chromosome. The method also comprises determining a respective sex-chromosome status based on a normalized read depth for a gene in a genome of the individual using a machine learning algorithm. The machine learning algorithm is configured to receive, as inputs, the normalized read depth, and output the respective sex-chromosome status of the individual. In another embodiment, a system I is provided including a neural network model trained based on predetermined information related to at least one sex chromosome and is adapted to determine a respective sex-chromosome status based on a normalized read depth for a gene in a genome of the individual using a machine learning algorithm.

Abstract: An operation of designing or selecting chemical structure information on a lipid molecule forming a particle encapsulating an active ingredient is supported. An inference device includes an acquiring unit configured to acquire input data including at least chemical structure information on a lipid molecule, and a learned model generated by performing a learning process on a learning model that associates input data including at least chemical structure information on a lipid molecule with a transfection efficiency of an active ingredient encapsulated in a particle containing the lipid molecule into a cell and/or a cell survival rate. The learned model infers a transfection efficiency and/or a cell survival rate associated with the input data newly acquired by the acquiring unit.

A new form of specialized computer hardware and software control system is provided, applying new machine learning techniques for translating patients' freeform verbalizations and other patient-reported data to standardized significance codes. In some embodiments, the system also translates such significance codes into standardized medical terminology that is more easily actionable by healthcare providers, as part of a new form of personal health record generated by patients (“PHRP”). In some embodiments, health-related data is normalized based on techniques known as translation vectors. Such translation vectors generate standardized significance codes based on common usage of terms by user(s) of the control system (e.g.
