Abstract: A computerized method and computing platform provides for managing a skill-based competition via network-based submissions. The method includes providing event rules across a communication network to a first user, the event rules relating to competing in the skill-based competition. Via the communication network, the method includes receiving an entry submission from the first user, the entry submission including score data and video data relating to a video feed of the first user competing in the skill-based competition. The method includes analyzing the video feed of the first user competing in the skill-based competition using at least one photogrammetry processing technique, including validating if the first user was in compliance with the event rules while competing in the skill-based competition. Based thereon, a verification score is compared with the score data and the method manages a leaderboard data set as part of managing the competition.

Abstract: A high-flux silicon carbide ceramic filter membrane and a preparation method thereof are provided. In the preparation method, a separation layer is directly coated at a time on the basis of a support, that is, after the support is sintered, the separation layer is directly coated and then sintered for carbon removal. In the present disclosure, a sintering process and a coating formula are optimized to prevent fine silicon carbide particles from entering micropores of a support due to capillary filtration and film formation during coating, such that a separation layer with an average pore size of 0.2 ?m or less can be directly coated on a silicon carbide support with an average pore size of 10 ?m or more, and fine silicon carbide particles can be effectively prevented from entering micropores of the support during the coating.

Abstract: A porous cylindrical support for use in supporting a zeolite membrane has a generally cylindrical inside surface having a central axis extending in the longitudinal direction and a generally cylindrical outside surface that surrounds the inside surface. A zeolite membrane is formed on the outside surface. A maximum value A and a minimum value B of a support thickness in a circumferential direction satisfy (A?B)/(A+B)?0.3 in at least part of the support in the longitudinal direction, the support thickness being a radial distance between the inside surface and the outside surface. By reducing a variation in support thickness, it is possible to improve uniformity in the thickness of the zeolite membrane formed on the support.

Abstract: The present specification generally relates to mixing systems using impellers which entrain gas into the liquid both at the surface and below the surface where it is dispersed into the circulation produced by the impellers. In particular, the invention pertains to the use of multiple vertical agitators in a single fermenter tank to allow the hydrostatic head to remain constant as scale increases, thereby preventing an increase in dissolved carbon dioxide. In addition, multiple agitators allow for wider fermenters without the issue of tip-speed induced bacterial shear.
