The method includes: shooting a cone-shaped group of viewing-frustum rays from a target character object for a hit object in a three-dimensional scene picture; determining object attribute information of the hit object based on an interaction between the viewing-frustum rays and the hit object; performing vector conversion on the object attribute information of the hit object, to obtain a ray-feature vector; collecting, by using a location of the target character object as a collection center, a plurality of height-value matrices corresponding to different granularities; performing feature dimension reduction on the height-value matrix corresponding to each granularity, to obtain a height-map feature vector; and integrating the ray-feature vector and the height-map feature vector into a three-dimensional scene feature.

In response to a touch operation on the attack control, a target behavior is determined from at least two different behaviors according to the operation attribute of the touch operation. Abstract: A system and a method for managing an avatar across multiple three-dimensional (3D) rendering platforms are disclosed. The system includes a content database, a content delivery module, a Software Development Kit (SDK) module, and an Application Programming Interface (API) module. The content database stores a 3D avatar model and associated first assets. The SDK module integrates with an in-engine avatar customization module of each 3D rendering platform and allows users to use these assets to customize their avatar during runtime. The API module receives requests for avatar and asset data. The content delivery module fetches requested avatar data and assets in response to requests received at the API module and delivers the requests to the SDK module. Additionally, the content delivery module fetches, stores, and manages second assets used for avatar customization from the SDK module.

If the movement of the object indeed does not change, the game server may forego publishing an update to the data related to that object. Instead, the client computer system may be configured to render the object based on the information already received. In some implementations, the published game state data may be included within User Datagram Protocol (UDP) packets. In some implementations, the game state data may be published by the game server immediately in response to input received. For example, the game state data may be published without waiting for a subsequent network tick.

A game server may include at least a simulator configured to modify a simulator and published state based on input received or as a result of time passing, and one or more nodes each comprising a sandbox responsible for running third-party code within the game server. The third-party code run on the game server may include both base assets corresponding to a version of an online game provided by a publisher of the online game and overridden assets that comprise base assets that have been modified by a user. Thus, the game server may be configured to run a modified version of the online game when using overridden assets. Systems and methods for improving performance of server-side simulations by skipping simulation ticks or abolishing simulation ticks entirely are also described herein.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes an apparatus that may be used to generate desalinated water from a supply of untreated water using a photovoltaic cell. The front surface of the photovoltaic cell is adjacent to the bottom of an evaporation chamber. The top and bottom of the evaporation chamber are composed of a transparent material, to allow light to pass through the evaporation chamber and reach the photovoltaic cell. The front surface of the photovoltaic cell is exposed to light, resulting in power generation by the photovoltaic cell and also heating the sides of and the air inside the evaporation chamber. Untreated water is subsequently introduced into the evaporation chamber, and a portion thereof evaporates to generate water vapor. The water vapor is then removed from the evaporation chamber and transported to a condensation chamber. The water vapor is cooled in the condensation chamber to yield desalinated water.

A push filter design activates a filter key lock upon insertion and extraction, where the filter key may be used simultaneously as a lock and as an identifier for particular filter attributes. The filter housing assembly may be attached to, and removed from, a filter base by a push-actuated release. Upon insertion, the filter key shifts the filter lock longitudinally to receive interlocking segments. Upon extraction, the same axial push shifts the filter lock further to align the interlocking fingers within gaps that allow for easy extraction. The filter medium and the filtered cap are fabricated to remove contaminants and particulate matter from an intake airstream. In some embodiments, the filter medium and filtered cap may be configured to be treated with a filter oil composition to enhance air cleaning properties of the filter media. Wire supports may be incorporated into the filter medium and filtered cap to provide additional strength and durability to the filtered cap air filter. The base includes a flange and an opening that form an airtight connection between the filtered cap air filter and an air intake duct of the air intake system.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a system for reducing ammonium bisulfate blockage in air preheaters of coal-fired power plants, comprising at least one powder, at least one powder injection device, and at least one powder storage device; Under the action of power, the powder enters the powder injection device from the powder storage device, and is then sprayed into the flue between the SCR denitrification reactor and the air preheater. The powder can selectively adsorb the precursor ammonia gas and/or sulfur trioxide of ammonium bisulfate, thereby reducing the generation of ammonium bisulfate, removing the ammonium bisulfate that causes blockage of the air preheater from the source, and reducing the deposition of ammonium bisulfate and/or ash on the heating surface of the air preheater. It has the characteristics of simple process, low equipment cost, low price of powder used, and low construction and operation costs.

Abstract: A system and method for capturing CO2 from air includes exposing the air to a source of water such that CO2 in the water is below equilibrium with CO2 in the air. The water may be enriched with hydroxides. In a preferred embodiment, the CO2 may be captured along with ammonia that is released from decomposing biomass using an apparatus including a first chamber receiving the water and a second chamber receiving the decomposing biomass. The first and second chambers are connected to allow transmission of air between the chambers while collectively defining an enclosed space from which air cannot escape. As the biomass decomposes, the enclosed air is enriched with CO2 and ammonia such that the CO2 in the water is below equilibrium with CO2 in the air so the water absorbs some of the CO2 in the air within the enclosed space.
