Patent number: 9932534Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, a fuel/oxygen solution is provided for use in the operation of any type of combustion chamber. Operationally, the fuel/oxygen solution is created by a solvent which includes a hydrocarbon based fuel that has been treated with an electromagnetically modified ethanol additive, and a solute that includes paramagnetic oxygen molecules. Chemically, the solvent additive has increased InterMolecular Forces (IMFs) and dispersion forces for hydrocarbon molecules in a treated fuel to make these respective forces effectively comparable with IMFs and dispersion forces of a solute of paramagnetic oxygen molecules. Thus, when atomized in a combustion chamber, the treated fuel acts as a more efficient solvent for dissolving oxygen from the air, to thereby create the fuel/oxygen solution for use in the combustion chamber.Type: GrantFiled: August 8, 2016Date of Patent: April 3, 2018Inventor: Thomas R. Publication number: 20100224099Abstract: The invention provides anti-skinning compositions for use in manufacturing oil-based coating materials. The novel anti-skinning compositions are clear, homogeneous solutions of cyclohexanone oxime that can be prepared by dissolving cyclohexanone oxime in a suitable carboxylic acid or mixture of carboxylic acids. Suitable carboxylic acids include fatty acids, such as fatty acids of tall oil distillate. Surprisingly, the fatty acids are useful as delivery solvents over a useful range of temperatures and have desirable flash points. They are compatible with many oil-based coating materials. The anti-skinning compositions and manufacturing methods of the present invention are especially useful in the manufacture of oil-based paints containing metal carboxylate driers.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 4, 2009Publication date: September 9, 2010Inventors: Milton Nowak, Lilya Gurariy

Publication number: 20100155255Abstract: The present invention provides a pretreatment process for electroless plating of a resin molded article, comprising etching the resin molded article using a manganate salt-containing etching solution, and then bringing the resin molded article into contact with an aqueous solution containing a reducing compound and an inorganic acid; and a plating process of a resin molded article comprising the pretreatment process. Further, the present invention provides various treatment agents for use in the plating process. According to the present invention, a plating layer with sufficient adhesion can be formed when an etching treatment is performed using a manganate salt-containing etching solution in an electroless plating treatment of a resin molded article.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 16, 2008Publication date: June 24, 2010Applicant: OKUNO CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES CO., LTD.Inventors: Toshimitsu Nagao, Yusuke Yoshikane, Junji Yoshikawa, Toru Morimoto, Toshiya Murata, Kazuya Satou

Publication number: 20100068504Abstract: The present invention relates to a multiple-coating particle and an anti-glare film having the same. The anti-glare film includes a transparent resin and a plurality of multiple-coating particles. The multiple-coating particles are evenly distributed in the transparent resin. The multiple-coating particle is composed of at least two layers of the distinct transparent materials so as to scatter and refract light due to different refractive indexes and to provide anti-glaring effect.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 11, 2009Publication date: March 18, 2010Inventors: Shih-Pin Lin, Chang-Jian Weng, Chin-Sung Chen, Ming-Huei Chen
