    Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments of an adapter for affixing useful articles upon a support system. A first article adapter is provided. In some devices, binoculars are outfitted with a connecting rod that the adapter can snap into. Other article adapters include a camera mount and a gun mount. A second support adapter can then be attached to a stand, such as a tripod, bipod, or monopod, or other support structure using known means.

    Abstract: A carrier for supporting a substrate during processing by a meniscus fowled by upper and lower proximity heads is described. The carrier includes a frame having an opening sized for receiving a substrate and a plurality of support pins for supporting the substrate within the opening. The opening is slightly larger than the substrate such that a gap exists between the substrate and the opening. Means for reducing a size and frequency of entrance and/or exit marks on substrates is provided, the means aiding and encouraging liquid from the meniscus to evacuate the gap. A method for reducing the size and frequency of entrance and exit marks is also provided.

    Abstract: An article of furniture, such as a night stand, is configured with firearm access features. A drawer of the article of furniture may include a mount for holding a firearm in the drawer. The mount may be configured to move a firearm from a horizontal storage position to a vertical position when the drawer is opened. The drawer may include a firearm locator feature comprising an arm-locating cut-out in a side of the drawer. The drawer may also include an access feature for selectively maintaining the drawer in a closed position and ejecting the drawer to an extended position, such as upon release of a catch which permits a spring to bias the drawer outwardly. The access features secure the firearm and at the same time permit expedited access to the firearm, including in the dark.
