Abstract: A system for managing the fluid intake of a person is disclosed. The system consists of multiple containers of various volumes, a common lid configured to incorporate a flow control valve, multiple flow control valves having varying flow rates, a date indicator ring incorporated circumferentially on said containers, a content indicator disposed on said lid, a chiller insert, and an optional slip on handle. The user selects a container based on the fluid needs of a person and a flow control valve based on the drinking ability of the person. The user fills the container with a drinkable fluid, and indicates the nature of the contents with the content indicator and the date of filling with the date indicator ring. The chiller insert allows the user to cool the contents without the possibility of dilution as with standard ice cubes.

Abstract: An indexing cap assembly indexes visual cues or indicia during an open and close cycle so as to help users more easily track container entry as for example with regard to medications so as to ensure proper dosage. The indexing cap assembly basically incorporates six components, including a cover construction, an indexing plate or wheel, a compression coil or spring, a push plate construction, a gear tray or swing plate construction, and an assembly ring. Abstract: The present embodiments relate to a dosage cap assembly for attaching to a standard prescription medicine container to aid in patient compliance with a dosage regimen. The dosage cap assembly can include a cap, time of day indicators, a medicine bottle, a lid with an outer member and an inner member, a ratcheting mechanism, and an indicator for pointing to the time of day indicators. Also disclosed is a method for tracking a last dosage that has been taken using a dosage cap assembly to aid in compliance of a dosage regimen.

Abstract: The present invention is a water filter pitcher equipped with a removable, replaceable filter cartridge and means to count the number of times the pitcher is filled with water, and also means to notify the user when the pitcher has filtered enough water to exhaust the filtering capacity of the filter cartridge so that the user can replace the filter cartridge when necessary but does not have to remember to change the cartridge at a specific interval or count the number of gallons filtered manually, and instead can rely on the water filter pitcher to track the amount of water filtered and inform the user when to change the filter cartridge.

Each indicia represents a time increment at which a next pill dosage is required to be taken by a user. The exterior surface of the closure includes a window that exposes a particular indicia. Upon removing the closure from the container, the user can rotate the dial via the handle in order to expose in the window the next time increment a dose is required to be consumed. The dial can only be rotated after the closure is removed from the pill container. Upon replacing the closure onto the container, the selected indicator remains immovable and represents an accurate reminder for the next time a dose is required to be taken.

An indicator member is rotatably mounted on the shaft and is rotatable in at least a first direction. One of the shaft and the indicator member has a helical groove while the other of the shaft and the indicator member has a follower disposed in the groove. The indicator member is moveable relative to the shaft along the axis as the indicator member is rotated in the first direction. In another embodiment, the indicating device includes first, second and third indicator members.
