  • Patent number: 11548186
Abstract: A cart for carrying a cut-off saw having a saw blade. The cart includes a frame with upper and lower portions, a wheel arm pivotably coupled to the lower portion about a first axis, and a rear wheel assembly coaxial with the first axis and coupled to the frame and the wheel arm. The cart includes a front wheel coupled to an end of the wheel arm opposite the rear wheel assembly, an adjustment lever pivotably coupled to the upper portion about a second axis, and a link having a first end pivotably coupled to the adjustment lever and spaced from the second axis, and a second end pivotably coupled to the wheel arm between the first axis and the front wheel. Pivoting the adjustment lever about the second axis pivots the wheel arm about the first axis to adjust a vertical position of the front wheel relative to the upper portion.

  • Patent number: 11462439
Abstract: A wafer processing method includes a pattern region detecting step, an evaluation region setting step, and an evaluation region deploying step. The pattern region detecting step is a step of detecting a period and positional information in which a substantially identical image appears in an imaged image and detecting a pattern region corresponding to one period. The evaluation region setting step is a step of detecting a position in which no metallic pattern is formed on planned dividing lines and setting the position as an evaluation region for evaluating quality of a processed groove. The evaluation region deploying step is a step of recording the position of the evaluation region in the pattern region and deploying the evaluation region at similar positions in different pattern regions.

The mounting plate engages a lead screw so that rotation of the lead screw moves the mounting plate along the mounting plate rails towards or away from a work piece. Two support frames are attached to the mounting plate. Each support frame has two drive wheels and a hydraulic motor for each drive wheel. A hydraulic fluid flow divider distributes hydraulic fluid evenly to each hydraulic motor so that the drive wheels operate in unison. The tensioning carriage has a slide plate with an idler pulley attached slidably to the slide plate rails. The slide plate engages a threaded rod so that rotation of the threaded rod moves the slide plate and idler pulley along the slide plate rails to increase or decrease the tension in the wire saw.

Abstract: A thin veneer stone saw and related methods are provided. The thin veneer stone saw includes one or more circular saw blades. In an embodiment, two circular saw blades are arranged such that a masonry block, such as stone, may be sawed completely through in a single pass through the thin veneer stone saw. The stone may be delivered to, and processed through, the circular saw blades by a conveyor system. One of the circular saw blades may be centered below the top surface of the conveyor and protrude through a gap between two sections of the conveyor system. The other circular saw blade may be positioned entirely above the top surface of the conveyor system. The thin veneer stone saw may be operable to produce thin veneer stones in a variety of widths. The thin veneer stones may be used to form facade for a structure.

Abstract: A repair assembly for the skid plate of a circular saw and its associated method of repair. If a circular saw has a skid plate that is worn to a point where it needs replacement, this repair assembly is used to reinforce the worn skid plate so it can again be used. The repair assembly includes a flat plate structure having a sort extension and a long extension protruding from different sides. The long extension and the short extension mount directly onto the worn skid plate. The flat plate structure therefore covers the wear surfaces of the worn skid plate, therein providing new wear surfaces. The repair assembly attached over the worn skid plate so the worn skid plate does not have to be removed.
