Abstract: A campfire cooking assembly for placement over a campfire that includes: a first vertical post and a second vertical post. The vertical posts are mounted on each side of an open campfire and include adjustable brackets on each post. The brackets may be adjustable vertically along the posts and receive a cooking mechanism between the brackets. Each post further includes a stake at the bottom that is used to drive the posts into the ground. Bolts may be provided on each bracket as a means to adjust the height of the bracket and in one particular, a rotating motor is provided on one vertical post. The brackets are adapted to receive a cooking mechanism such as a rotisserie rod or a cooking plate that may be inserted into the brackets for cooking purposes.

Abstract: A barbeque grill and outdoor patio accessory system with an automotive theme has a barbeque grill with a multi-component automobile-shaped upper housing. The system has a grill control panel having a general form of an automobile dashboard. Upon activation of a keyed switch the burner igniter provides the ignition spark for the burner, and the audio playback system plays pre-recorded audio themed sounds. The system has an integrated patio lighting assembly with a light housing having a general shape of an automobile wheel and tire assembly. The light housing is located in a general area with respect to the wheel and tire assembly location on a typical automobile. The lighting member can be extended out and away from the first side upper housing via a telescopic pole. The lighting member is pivotally located on a pole second end via a ball and socket joint.

Abstract: A fire pit includes a circular bottom plate and a circular, centrally-apertured log-supporting plate. A plurality of legs secured about the periphery of the log-supporting plate maintain the bottom and log-supporting plates in vertically spaced, parallel relation to one another. Each leg has a hollow uppermost end. A plurality of arcuate grates is mounted about the periphery of the log-supporting plate and a vertically-oriented post is secured to each of the grates, mid-length thereof. Each of the posts has a lowermost end slideably received within the hollow uppermost end of its associated leg to releasably connect each grate to the log-supporting plate. Arcuate openings positioned radially outwardly of the central opening enhance the flow of oxygen into the areas where combustion occurs. The log-supporting plate is inverted and the grates are stacked atop it when the fire pit is in its storage configuration.

Abstract: The apparatus of this invention relates to a device for heating or cooking food or liquids such as soup, water, roast, etc. A downwardly curved visor-like deflector is selectively removably positioned outwardly of the upper end of the radiation disk of an infrared heater so as to extend outwardly therefrom. The deflector has an upwardly presented cooking utensil opening formed therein and a horizontally disposed cooking utensil support secured to the deflector at the inner surface thereof below the cooking utensil opening. The cooking utensil support dwells in a plane below the upper end of the radiation disk whereby infrared rays emitted from the radiation disk will impinge upon the cooking utensil support and a cooking utensil positioned on the cooking utensil support to cook or heat the contents thereof. Other accessories may also be attached to the heater such as a protective grill or a cooking basket.

Abstract: A grate assembly for use over a fire, surrounded by a cylindrical fire pit ring, comprising: a) an inverted U shaped clamp having an inner and an outer opposite side, a central portion extending between, and connecting the two opposite side portions, wherein the outer opposite side portion further comprises a centrally positioned screwed hole and a screw, to tighten the clamp on the fire pit ring, an end portion of the central portion also has a centrally positioned screwed hole and a screw, to level the clamp when it is seated on the cylindrical fire pit ring; b) an upwardly extending post attached to the clamp; and, c) a grate, surrounded by a frame, said frame attached to, a cylindrical tube, sized to closely fit over the post, and further comprising grate-post attachment means to clamp the grate to the post at a preferred height.

There is also a hearth section for enclosing at least a portion of the exterior of the bottom section. It also envisions a smoker or ash guard expandable to fit either diameter to protect the cook and provide a surface for placing items attached to the stand apart from the heat source.

Abstract: A portable barbecue cooking apparatus is provided, the apparatus comprising a cooking chamber comprising a topside opening and a fire bowl with opposing ends; at least two handles, each handle attached to opposing ends of the fire bowl; and at least two shelves, each shelf being pivotally attached to each of the handles, and each shelf being foldable inwardly towards the topside opening of the cooking chamber during a stowage position and extendable outwardly away from the topside opening of the cooking chamber during a usage position.

Abstract: A portable cooking stove is disclosed. The cooking stove includes a base structure. At least one burner is positioned within the base structure. A burner plate is positioned above the burner and also above the base structure. When the stove is in use, a cooking surface may be placed on top of the burner plate. Multiple legs are connected to the base structure. The legs can be positioned in an extended configuration in which the base structure is positioned at a certain height above a ground surface. When the legs are positioned in the extended configuration, the height at which the base structure (and therefore the burner plate and any cooking surface that is placed on the burner plate) is positioned above the ground surface is adjustable without removing the legs from the base structure.

Abstract: A simple grill comprised of a body made from a circular section of seamless metal. The grill consists of an open top and an open bottom, with the grill used by placing vertically on a surface with the open bottom in contact with the surface. A support structure is welded proximate to the open top to support a sub-component, typically comprising a gridiron. Fuel placed though an opening in the side of the body in contact with the surface burns to provide heat for cooking. Two handles welded to the outer side of the body facilitate removing the grill after use, with the ash residue left in place.

Abstract: A portable camping and survival stove includes a stand comprising a pair of flat stock lower cross-members adjoined via a complementary slot in each member, each lower cross-member having a lower edge and a pair of double tabs spaced apart on an upper edge configured to secure on a shelf there between a lower edge of a rigid container. The disclosed stove also includes a cook top comprising a pair of flat stock upper cross-members adjoined via a complementary slot in each member, each upper cross-member having an upper to cooking edge and a pair of double tabs spaced apart on a lower edge configured to secure on a shelf there between an upper edge of the rigid container. Furthermore, the rigid container may be a discarded can or a collapsible four-sided container for flammable material and include holes for air flow in a bottom and at least one side thereof.

Abstract: A portable cooking station device is disclosed that allows users to cook food outside, over a fire, and supports large quantities of food and multiple pots and pans at the same time. The cooking station device comprises a base unit, a pair of vertical poles, and a horizontal bar secured between the pair of vertical poles for retaining cooking equipment. The base unit is configured to be placed directly over a fire pit. The pair of vertical poles are secured to the opposing sides of the base unit, and can comprise hooks for retaining cooking equipment. The horizontal bar can comprise S-shaped hooks for hanging cooking equipment. A rotisserie bar can be secured between the pair of vertical poles, below the horizontal bar, and a grate can be axially attached to one of the vertical poles to allow it to swivel out across the fire pit when in use.

Three support leg members have their top ends telescopically received in tubular coupling members formed on the support ring. The area beneath the support ring and within the perimeter of the support leg members defines a lid storage space. A lid support assembly has a horizontally oriented tubular sleeve portion having a tension coil spring passing therethrough. The opposite ends of the coil spring are detachably secured to brackets on the support ring. A vertically oriented anchor leg has its top end adjustably received on a T-connector portion extending downwardly from the tubular sleeve portion. The anchor leg has a hook on its bottom end that loops under the handle of a Dutch oven lid. Anchor arms extending inwardly from the respective support leg members would maintain a downward force on the Dutch oven lid causing the coil spring to be place under tension.

Abstract: A hot beverage making device includes a boiler for heating water; a housing for accommodating the boiler and connecting element for connecting the boiler to the housing. During operation of the boiler, water is heated and water vapor bubbles are created inside the boiler. Formation of the bubbles causes varying moments about the center of mass of the boiler. The connecting element is adapted to prevent transmittal to the housing of at least a portion of the moment variations. This keeps the noise produced as a result of vibrations of the housing at an acceptable level. In particular, the connecting element is adapted to let the boiler have at least one rotational degree of freedom.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a portable composite roaster that is small in size, enables a user to selectively use gas, charcoal or the like as a heating means, and is simple and convenient to use for anyone. The roaster has primary, secondary and tertiary heat-isolating screens arranged outside the heating means to effectively isolate heat and to protect a table on which the portable composite roaster is placed or users from heat generated by the heating means such that the users may use the roaster in accordance with the needs thereof. The portable composite roaster of the present invention enables users preferring charcoal-cooked food to roast food using charcoal, and enables users inconvenienced by charcoal to easily use gas instead of charcoal and enjoy delicious food.

Abstract: The present invention relates to outdoor grill accessories, and more particularly, a foldable worktable attachment for an outdoor grill that includes a large table that is pivotally connected to the side of the grill. When in an erect position, the table provides ample space for preparing foods and the like, but when in a collapsed position, the table lies flush against one of the sides of the grill housing, thus, enclosing supporting legs that are folded and stored between the table and the grill housing.

Abstract: The present invention is embodied in a grill configured for quick assembly, a method of partially pre-assembling the grill for shipping from the factory in a container, and a method of assembling the grill when removed from the shipping container. Abstract: A portable, compact, light-weight, foraged-fuel stove which assembled, provides a sturdy adequate cooking surface and while collapsed, forms a compact case favorable in size and weight for easy storage in pocket, purse, or backpack. The low-profile, square shape of this stove enhances stability and safety while providing a multi-use cooking surface adequate for grilling as well as cooking with pans of most sizes. The stove is designed to work with fuels foraged from one's surroundings, but is also suitable for use with charcoal, gelatinous fuels, alcohol burners, and more. By using foraged fuels, the backpacking weight of this stove is minimized. The stove provides a large opening for adding fuel eliminating the need to move the cooking material to add fuel, and a system of smaller openings in the sides of the stove to allow for adequate airflow to sustain combustion of the fuel.

The stand has a main leg mounted pivotally on the grill pan and a secondary leg connected pivotally to the main leg. When the main and secondary legs cross each other, the stand is unfolded and supports the grill pan high above a plane. When the main and secondary legs overlap each other and the main leg is pivoted to lie on the grill pan, the stand is folded into a compact size. The stand of the barbecue stove is structurally simplified and therefore is easy to assemble, fold or unfold.

The charcoal grill insert can be inserted into the opening so that the convertible grill can be used as a charcoal grill. A propane grill insert has a first crescent end, a second crescent end, and an outside wall extending between the ends. The propane grill can be inserted into the opening and the convertible grill be used as a propane grill.

Abstract: A user adjustable coupling device or hinge adapted to be attachable to a spine is disclosed. The device or hinge comprises a curved, hook end on a horizontally oriented upper bracket, a vertically oriented support brace, and a curved, oval-shaped end on a horizontally oriented lower bracket that gives the hinge a C-shaped configuration. The hook and oval ends allow the hinge to be quickly and easily attached and removed from the spine without the use of tools. The coupling device or hinge may be utilized in an outdoor cooking apparatus. The apparatus comprises an enclosed area defining a heat containment structure, a spine operably connected to the heat containment structure, a collar operably connected to the spine, and at least one cooking support attached or attachable to the coupling device or hinge.

The gas grill base pivots down parallel to the supports so that all are vertical for storage and transport.

Abstract: A campfire support unit for burning firewood. The unit has a metal frame that includes a metal support ring with metal tabs and support legs. The frame is made and arranged to support wood for a wood fire in a near-vertical ring position around a central core which contains wood supported in a near-vertical position. An internal core fire is started, using wood placed inside the metal ring. Then wood is leaned against the outer rim of the metal ring. The tabs support the wood leaned against the outer rim, preventing it from falling before, during, and after the outer wood is ignited by the internal core fire.

Abstract: An apparatus to assist in cooking over a campfire is herein disclosed, comprising a generally “Y”-shaped support that rests over an open fire by means of three (3) legs. An adjustable steel cable, controlled by a mechanically-operated winch, is provided at the center of the “Y”-shaped support, which depends downward and connects centrally to four (4) chains, each of which connects to a corner of a rectangular grilling surface. The grilling surface comprises a heat-resistant material and can be made in varying dimensions. The grilling surface is height-adjustable to accommodate cooking needs and fire output permits. Once cooled, the apparatus can be disassembled and transported in a supplied pouch or hard case.
