Abstract: Described is a method for grouping eyelashes and applying eyelash extensions based on the eyelash groupings. The method includes an act of forming an eyelash group, the eyelash group including a plurality of actual eyelashes that are adhered together to form the eyelash group. An eyelash is separated from the eyelash group using tweezers or another similar item. Thereafter, an eyelash extension is adhered to the eyelash that is separated from the eyelash group, thereby providing a user with an eyelash group and an eyelash extension applied to an actual eyelash. The process can be repeated for any desired amount of remaining ungrouped eyelashes.

Abstract: A cosmetic hairpiece is configured to be worn on a wearer's head in conjunction with a hair feature such as a ponytail, pigtail or like hair feature. The hairpiece has strands of hair and an attachment portion for releasably securing the hairpiece on a wearer's head. The strands of hair depend from an elongate section to be positioned around a ponytail, pigtail or like hair feature. The attachment portion is configured for securing the elongate section relative to said ponytail, pigtail or like hair feature. The elongate section may include a channel and the attachment means may be an elastic bungee or braid which is mounted in the channel and intended to be stretched and wrapped around the hair feature. The ends of the bungee or braid include hooks for attaching to one another or another part of the hairpiece.

At least one interior surface of the clip has a knurled texture to create friction against the hairs when the clip is compressed using the first plyer-shaped utensil, allowing the hair extension to be secured with the recipient's hair. The first plyer-shaped utensil, with ridged prongs can optionally create additional knurling surfaces on the clip. The second plyer-shaped utensil, with pointed prongs, is used to open and remove the clip and hair extension when desired.

Abstract: A hairpiece for positioning on a person's head and augmenting her natural hair includes a first layer of material having a plurality of hair strands attached thereto. A second layer of material has a plurality of hair strands stylized in a different manner than the hair strands attached to the first layer. The first and second layers are attached to each other. The hairpiece can be worn in a first position in which the second layer is adjacent to the wearer's head and the plurality of hair strands attached to the first layer extend outwardly from the wearer's head. When desired the hairpiece can be removed from the wearer's head and inverted so that the first layer is adjacent to the wearer's head and the hair strands on the second layer extend outwardly from the wearer's head.

Each of the multiple layers is applied one layer at a time, thereby providing a user with eyelashes having eyelash extensions attached thereto.
