Abstract: A hair extension device that allows a user to add supplemental, natural, human hair strands to the natural hair of the user. The hair extension device includes a filament formed into a circular or oval shape to encircle the head. Hair weft lengths are attached to the filament along an arcuate length of the filament. When the device is positioned on the head, the hair strands of the hair weft lengths extend down the sides and back of the user. The natural hair held beneath the filament is pulled up and forward, then backward over the filament, blending together the natural hair of the user and the supplemental hair strands.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a structure of a natural or artificial hair for a hair transplant and, more particularly, to a processed structure of a natural or artificial hair for transplantation, comprising: a number of fixing cut parts formed lengthwise on the outer circumferential surface line of a lower end part of a natural or artificial hair to be transplanted to a scalp of a person, that is, on the outer circumferential surface line of an insertion part to be inserted inside the scalp, the fixing cut part cut perpendicular to the outer circumferential surface line of the insertion part and formed along the outer circumference surface of the insertion part while having a predetermined angle toward the center of the hair.

Abstract: A hairpiece (35) for supplementing the natural hair of a wearer person (42). The hairpiece comprises a support net (10) formed by interconnected strands (11). The net is shaped to conform with the scalp of the wearer person. A plurality of bands of hair (36) are permanently secured spaced-apart, to the strands (11) of the support net (10). The bands of hair are disposed in a predetermined pattern to conceal the net while maintaining flexibility thereof. Independent attachment spring clips (20) are permanently secured in an upper portion of the support net (10) to removably secure the net in the wearer person's natural hair (43) wherein the net (10) and the attachment spring clips (20) are substantially non-visible in the natural hair to supplement and provide styling to the natural hair.

Abstract: A flame retardant polyester fiber for artificial hair, which is obtained by melt spinning a composition as a mixture of 100 parts by weight of (A) a polyester made of one or more of polyalkylene terephthalate and a copolymer polyester comprising polyalkylene terephthalate as a main component with 5 to 30 parts by weight of (B) a brominated epoxy flame retardant. The present invention also relates to the polyester fiber for artificial hair which has at least one modified cross-section, is a mixture with a fiber having a modified cross-section, and has a mixing ratio of the fiber having a round cross-section to the fiber having a modified cross-section is 8:2 to 1:9, and to the flame retardant polyester fiber for artificial hair which further comprises a hydrophilic fiber treating agent attached thereto, and thus has excellent smooth feeling, combing properties, and flame retardance.

Micro rings are fixed to the skin weft and provide an anchoring feature for strands of human hair from a scalp to be secured thereto. The micro rings are deformable and include a flexible protectant so as to minimize damage to the strands of hair. The hair system may be reused by re-opening the micro rings and reinstalling the hair extension system to another location.

The first opening is provided on the line bisecting the flexible plane sheet while having a thin and long shape so that a part of natural hair of the user passes through the first opening, and the second opening is provided at a predetermined position on the second half area so that other part of the natural hair of the user passes through the second opening.

Abstract: A method to apply a V-shaped eyelash having four symmetric tapered strands attached at the mounting portion to natural eyelash's hair. The V-shaped eyelash has two strands on each side. The V flare corresponds to an angle can be less than or equal to 160° degrees. The thickness of each strand can be 0.10 mm to 0.30 mm thick at the base and tapered at the tips. The lengths can be from 7 mm to 17 mm giving the illusion of a natural long, beautiful and luscious eyelash. Because the eyelash extension is a V shape with the two strands on each side, the eyelash can distribute weight evenly on each side. The natural hair strand as the holder at center also making the eyelash extensions last longer. The eyelashes are made from synthetic fiber which is crimp free and can be permed to a C, and J curl.

Abstract: A system for applying hair extensions to natural hair growing on the scalp of an individual comprises cylindrical tubes, a threading tool and a crimping tool. The cylindrical tube has a second end opening larger than a first end opening. The threading tool is used to feed scalp hair through the cylindrical tube. The hair extension is then inserted into the second end of the tube and the tube is crushed flat trapping the threaded scalp hair and hair extension within the crushed structure.

The tube is configured to deform more easily in a first direction than in a second direction when the same amount of crimping force is applied to the tube. The first and second directions are on a cross-sectional plane, in which the tube's cross-section forms a closed loop. Further the tube may have a desirable crimping direction and be shaped to substantially induce grabbing of the tube with a crimping tool toward a desirable orientation thereof for crimping in the desirable crimping direction. The hair bundle comprises a plurality of extension hair strands bound together. The link links the hair bundle to the tube.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for attaching an artificial eyelash structure including a first tape, a second tape, and an artificial eyelash structure. The first tape may be a medical double-sided tape in which a first side is placed on an upper eyelid and a set of false eyelashes is placed on a second opposing side of tape. The combination of the first and the second tape, wherein the second tape typically is in a color. When in the color black the second tape gives the appearance of eyeliner while holding the artificial eyelash structure without the use of glue.

The strip is secured to the rim and extending away from it. The strip(s) is enabled to receive one or more hair pieces and hair tracks. Abstract: A medical hair prosthesis for use by a wearer that has had a raid and pronounced loss of hair, where the foundation of the medical hair prosthesis is made of lace that has gone through a cryogenic treatment process to increase durability and comfort. The medical hair prosthesis is formed by a process of harvesting the wearer's own hair to incorporate into the front hairline of the hair prosthesis.

Abstract: An improved applicator for hair building cosmetic fibers, powders and particles uses a gentle stream of gas to suspend the fibers and waft them onto the user's scalp. A low pressure, low velocity gas stream directed downwards into a mass of fibers in a closed container suspends them. The suspended fibers exit through a small orifice connected with a passageway ending in a nozzle. The suspended fibers are propelled from the bulb in a directed fashion to settle naturally in a controlled area. If a rubber bulb is used to supply air to suspend the fibers, a user can gently squeeze the bulb to allow controlled puffs of air and fibers to waft onto controlled regions of the scalp. A valve arrangement can be operated to provide an air stream to remove excess deposited fibers from regions of the scalp.

One side of the adhesive layer (4) is bondable by chemical reaction to the inner side of the wig base (2) during gelation reaction of the adhesive solution applied to the inner side of the wig base (2), while the other side is bondable by pressure re-peelably to scalp. One side of the adhesive layer (4) has the hair fixing function to fix the needle foot portion of hair (3A) planted penetrating the inner side of the wig base (2). Since the wig (1) is made as double layer structure with a single adhesive layer (4), it is light-weighted, and since the adhesive layer (4) has re-peelability, it can be used repeatedly, resulting in low cost.

Abstract: A unique human or synthetic fibre hair extension and method are disclosed. One embodiment of the human or synthetic fibre hair extensions come packaged with double sided tape attached to both sides of the hair extension, with the weft and human or synthetic fibre hair attached between the two pieces of tape. The double sided tape is covered with a tape cover or liner on both sides of the extensions. First, the human or synthetic fibre hair extension is positioned for correct placement below the horizontal part line, the liner is removed form the bottom side of the hair extension and the human or synthetic fibre hair extension is secured by pressing into place. Abstract: The handheld hair weaving sewing machine has a motor driven by electric power and an on/off switch for providing electricity to the motor. A dial is provided for selecting a stitch pattern. A power switch is pressed to apply power to the motor to sew. A bobbin case containing a bobbin of thread and a bobbin thread spool for delivering thread to the needle are disposed within the machine housing. Rubber guards are provided to protect the scalp from injury. A tension dial is provided for adjusting the tension of the thread leaving the bobbin thread spool. Abstract: The present invention uses a releasable locking tube to integrate, anchor and bind supplemental hair ventilated on a polyurethane strip to strands of naturally growing hair. Rectangular strips of double-sided tape add extra security to the hair attachment to prevent slippage. Together both the locking tubes and the double-sided adhesive strips create a bi-locking system for securing the supplemental hair to the individuals' naturally growing hair for a prolonged period of time. The locking tubes can be easily removed without damaging the naturally growing hair. By loosening the locking tubes on the naturally growing hair, the position of the tubes can be adjusted closer to the scalp to compensate for growth of the naturally growing hair away from the scalp. Thus, the extension can be easily adjusted closer to the scalp every few weeks.

Abstract: An artificial hair bundle (10) is made up by mixing a first artificial hair made of a polyester resin (1, 2) and a second artificial hair made of a polyamide resin (5, 6), and the first artificial hair (1, 2) is made of polyethylene terephthalate and polybutylene terephthalate, having a cross-sectional size and bending rigidity similar to those of natural hair, wherein the bending rigidity is in the range of about 6.5 to 7.8×10?3 gf·cm2/strand at humidity 40%, and the first artificial hair (1, 2) suppresses bundling of the second artificial hair (5, 6), and the first and the second artificial hairs (1, 2, 5, 6) behave similarly to natural hair.
