Having cutting edges (13) distributed in this way, has been found to advantageously provide hair styling effects which give good texture to a hair cut and provide natural build.

Abstract: A both hand hair cutting method is for hairdressers to hold proper tools, such as scissors, razors, electric cutters, plural scissors, in a right hand and a left hand to perform cutting at the same time or not at the same time, depending on personal hair quality, hair quantity, length and needed styles. The lower levels of the right side and the left side of hair can be cut to have the same directions, and cutting the angle of hair, combing hair, and trimming the lower ends of hair can be easily performed by a hairdresser according to this method. The hairdresser is not disturbed by the head shape, the ears, the shoulders, and the hair length of a customer. The hair can be cut with fastness, enabling the finished hair style to look soft, natural and beautiful.

Abstract: A comb-like device is useful in the measurement of hair thickness and density in order to determine the extent and/or degree of hair loss or thinning as well as hair regeneration if undergoing treatment therefore. The comb section or teeth are modified into a plurality of different sized tines for measuring hair depth and thickness while the handle is tapered and calibrated for measuring any increase or decrease in the size of the individual's part. The handle is further modified through the incorporation of a magnifying glass for visual inspection of the individual's hair and scalp. The device is primarily designed for women.

Abstract: A hair-cutting system (1) comprising a hair-cutting apparatus (2) for cutting hairs, having a cutting device (3), and a comb device (4) which at least during operation is mounted on the hair-cutting apparatus (2) in the area of its cutting device (3) and which has juxtaposed comb elements (5), in which system (1) at least some of the comb elements (5) can be applied to a skin area of a person during operation, each of said comb elements (5) having a proximal end (6) and a distal end (7) and a contact zone (8) extending between the two ends (6, 7). At least one of said comb elements (5) comprises a rigid part (13) and flexible connection means (10) attached to each other, by means of which the comb element (5) adapts itself to the contour of the skin region it is applied to during operation. This improves the raising of hairs on curved regions of the skin area by the comb element (5), so that the hairs can be cut properly, and it improves the handling of the apparatus (2).
