Abstract: A makeup system includes a first carrier for holding a first palette of makeup and a second carrier for holding a second palette of makeup. The first carrier is joined with the second carrier and joined in a manner to allow the two carriers to be folded together. The system further includes a third carrier joined with the first carrier or the second carrier. The third carrier includes a support for supporting a sheet, which sheet can include a guide on how to apply the makeup that is included in the first and/or second palettes.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to refillable, modular containers consisting of a disposable refillable section and a retained section. The refillable section is dislodged from the retained section by pressing a release button which separates the two parts. Proximal to the releasing section is a connectable hinging mechanism by which individual modular containers can be connected and rotated about the hinge.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to a jar and lid combination with a jar body and a threadably-attachable jar lid, where the jar lid has a translucent window. Certain embodiments provide a structure for the windowed jar lid and jar body, so that the jar can contain fine powder without leakage, and without the need for a separate sealing layer adhered to the rim of the jar prior to securing the lid to the jar. Other embodiments relate to structures and methods for use by which a logo can be printed on the jar lid window, and then mechanically secured to the jar body, such that the logo is correctly aligned with the printed information on the front of the jar.

The system may be applied to specific facial features or entire faces for a complete style. The client device is configured to provide an interactive user experience by displaying templated instructions for makeup application. Templated instructions provide a ‘paint-by-numbers’ approach to daily makeup application. In an embodiment, the present disclosure further relates to an eye tracking feature enabling adjustment of a display projection responsive to eye position and eye status (e.g. opened or closed).

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system for confident daily make-up application comprising a makeup compact and a client device. The system may be applied to specific facial features or entire faces for a complete style. The client device is configured to provide an interactive user experience by displaying templated instructions for makeup application. Templated instructions provide a ‘paint-by-numbers’ approach to daily makeup application. The makeup compact further comprises a client device housing, wherein the client device can be docked for the duration of makeup application and coaching. The client device housing is separated from a protective cover by a semi-transparent display that can allow for tactile interaction with the client device. Abstract: An audiovisual-capturing system for a lighted mirror is used to illuminate a user's face and aid in capturing images or video of the user through a one-way mirror. The system includes a support structure, a one-way mirror, and a plurality of lights. The support structure includes a bordering frame which attached around the one-way mirror. The plurality of lights is connected to the bordering frame and is distributed about the bordering frame. The plurality of lights is used to illuminate the user's face. The support structure also includes a device stand which is used to support an audiovisual-capturing device. The one-way mirror is positioned in between the device stand and the plurality of lights. This allows the audiovisual-capturing device to capture images or record video through the one-way mirror, while the user is able to see their reflection through the one-way mirror.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to a lighting system for modifying visual perception of an image. In one embodiment, the lighting system includes a mirror having a display and a lighting system. The lighting system may have a key light above the display and a fill light below the display. The lighting system provides frontal lighting to the targeted subject with the key light shaping and defining the targeted subject, and the fill light softening the shadows and creating the illusion of a glow. Further, the key light and fill light may be of the same or different intensities.

The receptacle comprises a mounting assembly (12) having fixing means (24 . . . 30) by which it can be secured to a piece of textile material and a container assembly (10). Each of the mounting assembly (12) and the container assembly (10) has mutually co-operative coupling means (26, 56) that permit repeated interconnection and separation of the mounting assembly and the container assembly. Interconnection and separation may be achieved by mutual linear movement. The coupling means may include a first component that has a groove (26) into which a formation (56) of a second component can slide. In preferred embodiments, the container assembly (10) is watertight.

The compact mirror case provides a convex mirror function. In the multifunctional compact mirror of the invention, the plane mirror is set in a mirror frame within an upper housing and facing opposite the cosmetic product. The upper housing or cover is coupled to the lower portion or base at a hinged joint and has a fastener to secure the upper and lower housing portions in a closed position. Preferably, the multi-functional compact of the invention is also multi-layered having one or more side drawers positioned therein for housing additional cosmetic products. In addition, each product well or area may comprise multiple rectangular wells or areas to increase the variety of cosmetics available for use in a single compact.
