Abstract: Provided herein may be a cosmetic container including a main body configured to store cosmetics therein; a cover configured to open and close a first side of the main body; and a hinge part configured to hingedly connect the cover to the main body. The hinge part includes a shaft insert part protruding from an upper end of the main body, with a hinge shaft being inserted into the shaft insert part; and a shaft coupling part depressed in the cover to be at a position corresponding to the shaft insert part, and securing both ends of the hinge shaft.

Abstract: An airtight cosmetic compact, wherein the airtight feature is created by interaction between a seal on the inside of the cover and the upwardly facing recess of the base. The cover locks on the base by either thread elements on both cap and base or by bayonet like cams, allowing the cover to be twisted on the base compressing the cover against the base and engaging the seal with the base recess. By compressing the seal against the base and holding it in place through the threaded engagement the air-tightness of the compact is achieved and guaranteed.

Abstract: A packaging system includes a base, a lid, a closure structure, and an adhesive deposit. The base has a well. The lid is hingeably connected to the base and has a user input region and a protrusion projecting into the well. The closure structure is configured for releasably retaining the lid in a closed position relative to the base. The adhesive deposit is located within the well and at least partially surrounds the protrusion, and forms a first plurality of adhesive bonds with the well and a second plurality of adhesive bonds with the protrusion. The second plurality of adhesive bonds and the closure structure are configured to exert a combined retention force of at least 20N.

Abstract: A cosmetic compact has a pan made from an elastomeric material. The pan is elastically biased to a size that is smaller than a pre-formed cake of cosmetic product. The empty pan is temporarily expanded by applying vacuum to a bottom and sidewalls of the pan. The cake of cosmetic is inserted in the expanded pan and the pan is released from the vacuum. The pan contracts toward the smaller size and thus traps and holds the cake in the compact.

Abstract: A casing is provided that comprises a base (30), a lid (32) which is movable between a closure configuration. The base (30) and the lid (32) delimit an internal volume for receiving a cosmetic article and a configuration for access to the receiving volume. It comprises an insert (36) arranged in the receiving volume, the insert (36) being movable relative to the base (30) and relative to the lid (32) towards an intermediate position which is disengaged from the base (30) and disengaged from the lid (32) in the access configuration. The casing (10) comprises a releasable retainer (40) for retaining the insert (36) by friction in a position engaged on the lid (32), the lid (32) being capable of moving the insert (36) by means of the friction type retainer (40) over at least a portion of the travel of the lid (32) between the closure and access configurations.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of making a cosmetic container having a surface with a decorative feature that is visible through a clear cosmetic product contained by the container. The present invention also includes a cosmetic container comprising a decorative feature at or near the bottom of an insert placed inside of the container. The decorative feature is observed as part of the product by the user while applying the cosmetic product. The decorative feature remains in tact during continued use of the product and lasts at least as long as the life of the cosmetic product.

Abstract: A powder puff case for powder adhesion is provided to permit face powder to directly and uniformly adhere to a powder puff through an adhesion net when turning upside down and shaking a powder case that is filled with face powder. The adhesion net may be injection-molded integrally at bottom of the powder puff case, or outer circumference of the adhesion net is bent upward, to be received into a middle portion of bottom of the powder puff case, and a support body is inserted into bottom of the powder puff case, to hold the outer circumference of the adhesion net. Here, the adhesion net, the powder puff case, and the support body are in contact with one another by ultrasonic joint, etc. This powder puff case has a simple adhesion structure, in that meshes of the adhesion net are not stopped up and there is no separate case to hold face powder. Accordingly, face powder directly and uniformly adheres through the adhesion net to the powder puff from the main body.

Abstract: A mirrored cosmetic container includes a body portion having a cosmetic well and a top cover hinged to the body portion for covering the well. Interchangeable plain and magnifying mirrors may be mounted in recesses in the inside of the top cover and opening to the bottom side of the body portion. Removable bezel retainers are operable to retain the mirrors in their working positions in their respective recesses. The cosmetic container may have a combination mirror disposed inside the top cover with a magnifying and plain mirror arranged side by side, or one over the other or one inset in the other, for example.

Abstract: The invention is a hermetically sealed compact. The compact has a base with a compartment having an open end and a cover pivotably connected to the base so that the cover is movable from an open position to a closed position with respect to the base. A tray is slidably disposed within the compartment in the base for limited vertical movement and the tray has a peripheral wall with an upper sized and shaped top surface. An operatively associated seal assembly between the cover and the base includes a sealing member such as a sized and shaped gasket is provided to match and mate with the upper sized and shaped top surface of the peripheral wall of the tray to form a hermetic seal therewith when the cover is moved to the closed position. A latch assembly is provided to releasably secure the cover to the base and to move the sealing assembly to form the hermetic seal.

The compact includes an upper section having a cylindrical shell adapted to accommodate a cosmetic, such as a pressed powder pad, and a lid screwed onto the shell to hermetically seal the cosmetic. Integrated with the upper section is a lower section defining a cylindrical chamber having an opening inlet to admit a cylindrical pull-out drawer adapted to accommodate a mirror and an applicator for the cosmetic, such as a powder puff.

Abstract: A combined cosmetic case and picture stand includes first and second cosmetic casing halves, a transparent pane member and a stand member. The first and second cosmetic casing halves are hinged to one another and are retained releasably in a closed position. The first cosmetic casing half has an outer side which is formed with a central recess for receiving a picture therein. The second cosmetic casing half has an inner side which confines a space for receiving cosmetic therein and an outer side which is formed with a groove unit. The pane member has a shape which corresponds to that of the central recess. The pane member is received in the central recess and is formed with a peripheral frame unit that is mounted detachably to the outer side of the first cosmetic casing half. The stand member is received in the groove unit and is mounted pivotally to the outer side of the second cosmetic casing half.

Abstract: Disclosed is a spherical vanity case, which is formed of an upper cover, an intermediate unit and a bottom unit. The upper cover has a mirror pivoted thereto to define with the intermediate unit a receiving space for keeping small toiletries. The intermediate unit has a center hole into which a hollow shaft upstanding from the bottom unit is fastened, a plurality of compartments on its top surface for holding dusting powder and rouge cake, and a plurality of bottom slots radially arranged around a circle respectively for receiving a powder make-up case each. Each powder make-up case has a bottom projection respectively movably fastened in a corresponding groove on the top surface of the bottom unit such that relative rotation of the intermediate unit against the bottom unit drives the powder make-up cases to slide in or out of the bottom slots. The hollow shaft of the bottom unit defines therein a space for carrying a lipstick.
