Abstract: A branched eyelash extension is described. In one aspect, the eyelash extension is a vertically branched/stacked eyelash extension that includes a first filament having both a first proximal end and a first distal end and a second filament having both a second proximal end and a second distal end. The proximal end of the second filament is attached on top of or below the proximal end of the first filament, such that they are collectively a vertically branched/stacked eyelash extension. In another aspect, the eyelash extension includes branches in a side-by-side configuration. In this aspect, the proximal end of the second filament is attached to the side of the proximal end of the first filament, such that they are collectively a branched eyelash extension in a side-by-side configuration.

Abstract: A reusable eyelash includes an eyelash and a monofilament lace attachment strip. The eyelash is adjacently connected on a top surface of the monofilament lace attachment strip, where a bottom surface of the monofilament lace attachment strip is attached onto an eyelid through an adhesive layer. The adhesive layer of the reusable eyelash can be a user applied adhesive liquid or a pre-manufactured adhesive strip while the monofilament lace attachment strip is a formfitting material that can match the contour of the eyelid in order to create a natural appearance.

Abstract: There is also provided a method of applying artificial eyelashes on an eyelid. The method includes forming a cluster of artificial eyelashes which are splayed and coupled together at a first end thereof. The method includes coupling the first end of the cluster of artificial eyelashes to the eyelid. The method includes at least partially attaching a plurality of individually spaced-apart artificial eyelashes on top of the cluster of artificial eyelashes. There is further provided an assembly of artificial eyelashes for a peripheral portion of an eyelid. The assembly includes a plurality of clusters of artificial eyelashes. Each of the clusters of artificial eyelashes is splayed and includes artificial eyelashes coupled together at one end. The ends of the clusters of artificial eyelashes are connectable to the peripheral portion of the eyelid. The assembly includes a plurality of individually spaced-apart artificial eyelashes overlying the cluster of artificial eyelashes.

The first adhesion layer and the second adhesion layer are provided adjacent to each other with a tank layer therebetween. A first release layer is attached peelably to the whole surface of the second adhesion layer on the side that is fit to the skin, and a second release layer is applied peelably to the first adhesion layer and is layered on a portion of the surface between the first adhesion layer and the tank layer. The layers are layered in order, forming a flat surface.

By one approach at least two minor portions of the aforementioned non-mesh hair securement strip are constrained with respect to movement away from the exterior surface of the doll body such that at least one majority portion of the strip can be moved away from the exterior surface with less constraint than the two minor portions. The majority portion moves away from the exterior surface of the doll body to facilitate disposing and securing hair components therein.

Abstract: A flame-retardant polyester artificial hair filaments is provided which comprises: (A) 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic polyester resin; (B) 10-30 parts by weight of a polymeric phosphorus-based flame retardant; (C) 0.1-3 parts by weight of a chain extender; and (D) 0.5-3 parts by weight of sodium antimonate. The polymeric phosphorus-based flame retardant (B) may be a flame retardant having a repeat unit of formula 1 and a weight-average molecular weight ranging from 80,000 to 150,000. The flame-retardant polyester artificial hair filaments can be prepared by: extruding a composition comprising a mixture of a polyester resin, a polymeric phosphorus-based flame retardant, a chain extender and sodium antimonate to form a pellet; drying the pellet to a water content of 500 ppm or less; melt-spinning the dried pellet to prepare a undrawn yarn; drawing the undrawn yarn at a draw ratio of 2-5; and heat-treating the drawn yarn in a heat treatment device heated to a temperature of 150˜280° C.

Abstract: The invention concerns a wig or lace wig cap, to be worn by the user underneath a wig or lace wig. The cap is comprised of a plurality of panels using stretchable and breathable material, an elasticized banding and a plurality of sew on snap fasteners affixed to, said banding to form the Press and Go Wig and Lace Wig Snap Cap. Cooperating snaps are then affixed to a wig or lace wig around the entire circumference of the outer inside wig weft, concealing the application process, thereby producing a comfortable, airy and secure fit to the user. An additional banding is included, affixed with a plurality of snap fasteners designed to fit cooperating snaps of a wig or lace wig. Also included is a tension strap affixed with two cooperating snap fasteners designed to be used as an adjustment strap to the cap banding or separate banding.

Abstract: Hair additions and their methods of construction are set forth. A hair addition according to one embodiment includes a plurality of hair strands having upper and lower ends, at least two threads coupling the upper ends together, and two layers of polyurethane sandwiching the hair strand upper ends and the at least two threads. The two layers of polyurethane form a strip, and at least one clip is coupled to the strip. It may be desirable for a diameter of the strip to be no more than 25%-50% greater than a diameter of the hair strands. A method of formation includes: aligning a plurality of hair strands; coupling an end of the hair strands together using thread; sandwiching the coupled end of hair strands and the thread between two layers of polyurethane; curing the two layers of polyurethane; and coupling at least one clip to the cured polyurethane.

Abstract: A headband assembly includes a lower band element and an upper band element. The lower band element has upstanding flanges that define a cavity to provide for storage of personal items such as eyeglasses, lipstick, lip balm, etc., and the flanges include a plurality of reliefs or notches therein for making the lower band flexible. The upper band element pivots with respect to the lower element and includes a lock mechanism. The lower band element also includes a plurality of coupling members in the form of rows of rod-shaped bar members for receiving and coupling with a clip. The clip member may be coupled to a hair accessory which may include any known or appropriate accessory. The coupling members are integrated in the lower band on the front and back sides of the upstanding flanges as well as on the bottom surface of the lower band to provide greater flexibility and accessorizing options. The ornamental designs of the headband, eyeglass frame, and clips are also disclosed.

The assembly includes a head covering comprising a foundation and wefts of hair. The wefts of hair are coupled to and extend outwardly from the foundation. The foundation has a front wall wherein the front wall includes a front portion being free from the wefts of hair. A headband is couplable to the front portion of the head covering.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a polyester-based fiber for artificial hair obtained by melt spinning a polyester resin composition. The polyester resin composition includes 100 parts by weight of a polyester resin, 5 to 40 parts by weight of a brominated epoxy flame retardant, and 1.5 parts by weight or more and less than 7 parts by weight of an antimony oxide. The polyester resin is at least one kind of resin selected from the group consisting of polyalkylene terephthalate and a copolymerized polyester containing polyalkylene terephthalate as a main component. The polyester-based fiber for artificial hair has aggregates of the brominated epoxy flame retardant that are dispersed in the polyester resin in the form of islands, as viewed in the cross section of the fiber parallel to the fiber axis direction. The present invention also relates to hair ornament products including the polyester-based fiber for artificial hair and a method for producing the polyester-based fiber for artificial hair.

The method for manufacturing the false eyelashes of the present invention has excellent production and economic feasibility, the quality of the manufactured false eyelashes is uniform, and the false eyelashes manufactured by the manufacturing method have excellent shape stability, elasticity, and can be provided in various colors and designs.
