The cleaning head is formed from a plurality of fibers that are pulled through a die to compress the fibers into a substantially rigid, elongated cleaning head. The swab includes a tether to secure the swab and prevent inadvertent misplacement.

A blade head is mounted at the head end of the frame for mounting a scraping blade thereon. A first handle is mounted at the handle end of the frame and extends downwardly therefrom. A second handle is mounted on the frame rearwardly of the head end but remote from the first handle.

The art tool apparatus comprises a rod, at least one strap for attachment, and a plurality of art tools pivotally attached to the end of the rod with a nut and bolt assembly. The nut and bolt assembly allows for easy and multiple positioning of the art tool selected. Different art tools may be easily added or removed from the art tool apparatus.

Scrubbing bristles extend from the brush head body at a variety of angles, including at an acute angle of from about 35° to slightly less than 90°, relative to a centerline of the connection portion of the elongated handle.

Abstract: An improved housing for an electric toothbrush is disclosed. The improved housing provides two symmetrically positioned gripping members which assist the user in grasping the toothbrush particularly during brushing. Each of the gripping members includes a recessed gripping region having particular dimensional characteristics. The two gripping members are symmetrically arranged on the rearward sides of the toothbrush so that the brush may be used by both left-handed and right-handed individuals. A third gripping member may also be provided along the housing of the toothbrush.

The multi-sectional applicator comprises of an elongated handle with applicator tips affixed to one or both of its ends. The handle includes an elongated inner core having a longitudinal axis, a transverse axis, a front end, a rear end and first and second opposite surfaces extending from the rear end to the front end of the inner core along the longitudinal axis of the handle, the blade being securely mounted to the front end of the inner core. The improvement resides in that the inner core of the handle includes at least one recess having an opening facing the first surface so as to reduce the overall weight of the drywall knife, and the inner core further includes a lid hingedly mounted to the first surface of the inner core, said lid being positioned and sized to be folded about an axis parallel to the longitudinal axis of the inner core so as to cover each recess. The drywall knife is inherently lightweight due to its design. The drywall knife is mounted onto the blade without the use of fasteners, due to the design of the handle and blade.

Abstract: The present invention is an ergonomic paint brush handle including a head section having a shoulder end, a brush end, a brush edge and a shoulder surface, said brush end of said head section for receiving a brush head, and said head section being oriented substantially along a brush plane. The paint brush handle also has a longitudinal handle section oriented substantially along a handle axis, said handle axis and said brush plane are substantially parallel to each other and disposed at an offset distance. The handle also has a transition sections for rigidly connecting said shoulder end of said head section to one end of said handle section. The ergonomic handle is gripped by placing a fore finger along said brush edge, and a thumb on said shoulder surface and said handle section lying in the web of a hand between the fore finger and the thumb, such that when said handle is gripped in a hand said transition section provides relief for the web of a hand.

The handle is formed with a distal end slotted recess to slidably receive a file. A rare earth magnet of high magnetic strength magnetically holds and stows the file in the handle. The handle is formed with a through hole to access the magnetically stowed file for removal through the end slot.

Abstract: A push broom having an extendable handle with an upper section slidably mounting a lower section with a compressible coil spring mounted therebetween for urging the lower section forward or away from the upper section. The lower section includes a bristle brush with an attachment fitting for threadably coupling with the lower section. Bushings carried on both the upper section and the lower section permit a smooth sliding relationship between the sections. A protective boot of the bellows type has opposite ends secured to the upper section and the lower section respectively and encloses the compressible coil spring.

The primary handle includes a linearly extending rod having first and second ends. Intermediate the opposed applicating end portion, the elongated handle is provided with a circumscribing groove to define a frangible area by which the user, at his or her option, can cleanly sever the applicator handle to form two separate and distinct applicators. The applicator is also provided with a hinging arrangement adjacent the opposed applicating end portions whereby the applicating end portions may be angularly bent relative to the elongated handle at the option of the user.

The parting portion also may include a generally concave face. The applying portion includes a blade. The blade includes dimples or holes designed to increase the ability of less-viscous fluids or cremes to remain adhered to the surface of the blade. The applying portion may also include teeth disposed along a distal portion for assisting in the application and directional smoothing of the hair during use. The channels between the teeth may vary in shape, including (for example) being half-circular, ovular or rectangular in shape.

More supple outer row bristles(52) have lower inertia and are in a recessed position which promotes softer contact and protection of the most prominent and delicate areas of the dentition.

The method comprises the steps of attaching a delivery accessory to a curling broom, and delivering the curling stone with one hand and holding onto the curling broom with a second hand as the curling stone is being delivered.
