Abstract: An adaptable handbag system enables a user to customize the capacity of their hand bag by adding or removing bags from a carrying ring. The bags are attached to the ring via a hinge and attachment point to allow the bag to move with respect to the carrying ring. The bags have different shapes and markings to allow for quick identification even in less than optimal viewing conditions.

Abstract: A system and method for rapidly accessing a tourniquet located in a pouch with a pull-away cover. The tourniquet holder allows users to safely store in a fabric pouch a prepared tourniquet that is quickly accessible and coupled to a removable cover of the pouch. Users are able to fold tourniquet in a manner that allow the tourniquet to be removed from the pouch and used nearly instantaneously.

Abstract: A hygienic kit for airplanes has a tray cover, a pair of arm rest covers and a headrest cover. The tray cover has a table covering with a first end that is removably attachable to an airplane tray table and a second end that is attached to a pocket. Pocket has a front face, a back face, peripheral sides and an open top. Second end of table covering is attached to the front face of the pocket. The tray cover is folded into a compact envelope and unfoldable for use. Each arm rest cover has an arm rest panel and side panels. The side panels allow each arm rest cover to be removably attachable to an airplane arm rest. The headrest cover has a front panel and a rear panel. The front panel and the rear panel are connected to form a cap sized to be removably positioned over an airplane headrest.

Abstract: A magnetic purse system includes a vehicle that has a gas tank. The gas tank is comprised of a magnetic material. A purse is provided to contain objects. The purse includes a pair of wings and the purse has an electromagnetic shield. The purse is selectively positioned on the gas tank when the vehicle is ridden. A plurality of magnets is provided and each of the magnets is coupled to the purse and each of the wings. Each of the magnets magnetically engages the gas tank when the purse is positioned on the gas tank. In this way the purse is stored when the vehicle is driven.

Abstract: Surgical tools having a two degree-of-freedom wrist, wrist articulation by linked tension members, mechanisms for transmitting torque through an angle, and minimally invasive surgical tools incorporating these features are disclosed. An elongate intermediate wrist member is pivotally coupled with a distal end of an instrument shaft so as to rotate about a first axis transverse to the shaft, and an end effector body is pivotally coupled with the intermediate member so as to rotate about a second axis that is transverse to the first axis. Linked tension members interact with attachment features to articulate the wrist. A torque-transmitting mechanism includes a coupling member, coupling pins, a drive shaft, and a driven shaft. The drive shaft is coupled with the driven shaft so as to control the relative orientations of the drive shaft, the coupling member, and the driven shaft.

Abstract: An expandable and collapsible purse for insulating and carrying cans or bottles or other selected items within coverable pouches or pockets formed on the inside and/or outside or the purse. The storage cavity includes pockets to store other selected items. A continuous integral cover or sleeve extends upward from the top edge which can be folded inwardly over the inner pockets and contents on the inside of the purse or folded outwardly over the outer pockets surrounding the outer surface of the purse. After the containers are stored in the pockets, the sleeve can pulled down over the inner wall pockets or over the outer wall pockets to cover and further insulate the containers. The purse preferably has a carrying strap or straps and contains a zipper, snaps or hook and loop fasteners to close the top opening when the sleeve is pulled down over the pockets.

The strap is attached in a fixed/permanent or removable fashion to a small to medium sized purse, in a standard diameter so that people can slide it over their hand. Secondarily, the wrist band would be elastic, not only allowing for comfortable use, but also allowing the ability to be pulled off by stretching in emergency situations, protecting the wearer from possible severe harm.

Abstract: A sneaker purse and methods for forming a sneaker purse are presented. The sneaker purse is formed from portions of a first sneaker and a second sneaker. The sole of the first sneaker acts as the bottom of the shoe purse, while the sides and heels of the first and second sneaker upper portions form the sides of the purse. The joined upper portions form an upper section of the purse. An interior cavity of the purse is lined defining a primary interior portion. An opening portion is attached to the purse upper portion. The opening portion may be alternatively opened and fastened closed.

Abstract: A bag includes a body portion defining a pouch having an open end and a strengthening rib. A strap of the bag has a first end connected to the body portion adjacent a first side of the open end, and a locking mechanism is connected to the body portion adjacent a second side of the open end. The locking mechanism is arranged to releasably engage a second end of the strap such that the bag can be connected to immovable objects to prevent theft of the bag. Further, a closing mechanism is disposed on the body portion and arranged to close the open end. The closing mechanism has a moveable head that is arranged to engage the second end of the strap when the strap is engaged with the locking mechanism, such that unauthorized access to the contents of the open end is prevented when the bag is locked.

A strap is swivelably attached to strap bridges at opposite ends of the invertible handbag. Method steps are taught wherein the handbag closures may be closed, the invertible handbag inverted, and then the uppermost closure and mouth opened, to permit seeing and removing items which were formerly lost at the bottom of the handbag compartment. Means is disclosed to hold the closures closed. Optional sidebags may be mounted to the handbag sides, each including a sidebag roof mouth closure and a sidebag floor mouth closure.

According to one embodiment, a handbag with multi-function strap system includes a bag portion having an inside and an outside, a ring coupled to one side of the bag, and first and second fasteners coupled to the bag portion. The first and second fasteners are accessible at the inside of the bag, the first fastener is relatively distant to the ring, and the second fastener is relatively near the ring. A strap has first and second ends, and a hook is coupled to the strap adjacent the first end. A third fastener complementary to at least one of the first and second fasteners is coupled to the strap adjacent the strap second end. A fourth fastener complementary to at least one of the first and second fasteners is also coupled to the strap.

Abstract: A robbery-preventing and body-protecting handbag includes a bag body, an automatic disengaging device, a circuit control device, a buzzer and a shoulder strap. The automatic disengaging device is installed between the bag body and the shoulder strap, having separable magnetic attraction members combined with the end of the shoulder strap and stationary magnetic attraction members combined with the bag body. The stationary magnetic attraction members are connected with the circuit control device and the buzzer to form an automatic alarm circuit. When the shoulder strap is forcefully dragged by a robber or by a user herself, the separable magnetic attraction members will be disengaged from the stationary magnetic attraction members and the circuit control device will simultaneously start the buzzer to scare the robber away, ensuring safety of the handbag and the user.

The strap is attached to the body by coupling the first body fastener to the first strap fastener, and by coupling the second body fastener to the second strap fastener. The first and second strap fasteners of the removed strap are coupled together, so that the strap is worn as jewelry. In another embodiment, the body has a plurality of belt loops and the strap has a belt buckle at one end.

In addition, items can be carried within the present invention when in the closed position.

A handle portion is received in the recess and has two distal ends each fixedly mounted on the upper end of a corresponding one of the two inner tubes. A cap is pivotally mounted on the hidden base for enclosing the recess.

One of the ends of the strips is securedly attached to the back portion of the holder body, while the second end is provided with a fastener element to fasten with a co-aligned mating fastener element attached to the back portion of the holder body. The second embodiment provides for the use of a pair of spaced apart strips mounted on an underside of a flap which is securedly attached to a back portion of the holder body. The strips on the underside of the flap form loops with the underside of the flap for receiving a shoulder strap therein.

Abstract: A handle for a luggage case made of two longitudinal spaced apart rows of heavy cord of twisted material with an outer piece of fabric material folded longitudinally around the two rows and sewn along a longitudinal centerline to form a strap. The cords are centrally located and of a length such that it determines the length of the handle and forms a substantially rigid, padded central portion of the handle. The opposite ends of the formed strap are free of the corded fabric, are slid through attachment loops, and folded under until the ends substantially come together thereby forming a lower and upper layer for the handle. A sleeve is wrapped around the juncture of the ends, and both upper and lower layers are fixed together.
