The touch panel has a structure wherein a lower plastic film in which a transparent electrode is formed and a touch-side plastic film in which a transparent electrode is formed are layered so that the transparent electrodes are placed opposite. The display panel is constructed with only the driving substrate, and the organic light emitting devices are sealed by the touch panel instead of the sealing substrate. Therefore, thickness and weight of the display unit can be further reduced.Type: GrantFiled: March 21, 2007Date of Patent: August 19, 2014Assignee: Sony CorporationInventor: Yuichi Iwase

Patent number: 8741018Abstract: An air filter cartridge is provided including an air filter media construction having a first, outlet end, flow face and an opposite, second, inlet end, flow face. The filter media construction has fluted media secured to a facing media sheet. The filter media is closed to flow of unfiltered air completely therethrough. A centerboard is provided. The centerboard has a media portion embedded within the media construction. The centerboard has first and second opposite sides. The media portion that is embedded within the media defines an aperture arrangement extending completely through the centerboard from the first side to the second side. An adhering sealant secures the centerboard to the media construction. At least some adhering sealant extends through the aperture arrangement.Type: GrantFiled: January 28, 2013Date of Patent: June 3, 2014Assignee: Donaldson Company, Inc.Inventors: Mark Belcher, Matthew A. Publication number: 20140116617Abstract: A busway and a method of assembling the same in which a flowable, uncured epoxy is applied between insulated busbar conductors that are stacked on top of one another and inner surfaces of the busway housing into which the stacked conductors are placed to form an enclosed busway. The busbar conductors are insulated by an epoxy powder coat, which can develop pinholes during the curing of the epoxy powder. A flowable, curable dielectric material, such as epoxy, is applied between the outermost busbar conductors and the inner surfaces of the top and bottom pieces of the busway housing. Optionally, epoxy is also applied between adjacent pairs of busbar conductors, which are stacked and arranged into the housing. Pressure is applied to the housing stack, and the epoxy is allowed to cure, resulting in a busway having superior thermal performance, dielectric integrity, and mechanical strength compared to conventional busways.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 1, 2012Publication date: May 1, 2014Applicant: Schneider Electric USA, Inc.Inventors: Jacob E. Publication number: 20140071354Abstract: Methods for controlling deformation of laminated display assemblies are described. The laminated display assemblies can include flexible layers. In some embodiments, the flexible layers are sensor layers. Methods involving the use of a thermal press and ultra violet (UV) curing procedure are described. In one embodiment, a thermal press method can be performed by placing a laminated display assembly including the flexible substrate, an ink layer, an adhesive, and a cover on a temperature controlled fixture. A mechanical press can apply pressure to the top of the laminated display assembly. The mechanical press can remove any planar deformity of the flexible layer and can redistribute portions of the adhesive. Following the mechanical pressing, the laminated display assembly can be exposed to UV light to cure the adhesive and thereby fix in place the planar state of the laminated display assembly.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 12, 2013Publication date: March 13, 2014Applicant: Apple Inc.Inventors: Kuo-Hua Sung, Sang Ha Kim, Hsing Han Ho
