Abstract: The medical catheter tube of the present invention integrally has an inner layer tube; reinforcement material layers formed by placing element wires on the inner layer tube; a marker; and an outer layer tube. The element wires, which are first and the other element wires, for forming the reinforcement material layers are synthetic resin element wires and/or metallic element wires, the first element wires are placed in the axis direction of the catheter to form the first reinforcement material layer, and the other element wires are wound in a coil form on the first reinforcement material layer, in the circumferential direction of the catheter, to cover the first reinforcement material layer. The marker is flexible to deformation. Because of the presence of the reinforcement material layer and the outer layer tube, flexural rigidity from a base section to a head section is reduced in a stepped or continuous manner.

An adhesive tape (t) is placed on an auxiliary plate (12) near the base plate (11). A movable plate (33) then is moved transverse to the wires (a, a?) to roll the wires (a, a?) onto the tape (t) and to wind the tape (t) around the wires (a, a?). The movable plate (33) then is moved back after winding of the tape (t) to untwist the wires (a, a?).

  • Patent number: 7000664
Abstract: A sheet supply section disposed along a transport way of a substrate feeds a sheet wound in a roll shape. A sheet cutting section cuts a sealing sheet to be set on the substrate from a fed portion of the sheet. A sheet set section including a transfer head of a vacuum suction type with a plurality of suction holes disposed therein reciprocates/moves the transfer head over a sheet receiving position in the sheet cutting section and a sheet covering position in the transport way. The sheet set section lowers the transfer head in the sheet receiving position, raises the transfer head at the sheet covering position. The transfer head attracts the sheet at the sheet-receiving position and does not attract the sheet at the sheet covering position the sheet covers the substrate.

  • Patent number: 6986859
Abstract: A modified alkali silicate composition for forming an inorganic network matrix. The modified alkali silicate matrix is made by reacting an alkali silicate (or its precursors such as an alkali hydroxide, a SiO2 source and water), an acidic inorganic composition, such as a reactive glass, water and optional fillers, additives and processing aids. An inorganic matrix composite can be prepared by applying a slurry of the modified aqueous alkali silicate composition to a reinforcing medium and applying the temperature and pressure necessary to consolidate the desired form. The composite can be shaped by compression molding as well as other known fabrication methods. A notable aspect of the invention is that, although composite and neat resin components prepared from the invention can exhibit excellent dimensional stability to 1000° C. and higher, they can be prepared at the lower temperatures and pressures typical to organic polymer processing.
