Abstract: The present invention encompasses both apparatuses and methods for providing capabilities of facilitating utilitarian functions that are flexible in both their configuration and circumstances of utilization. In various embodiments, this multi-functional utility system is capable of being manually transportable, compactable, customizable, and is capable of operation in a variety of settings. In certain representative embodiments, the present invention includes folding legs, a base utility portion, a supplementary utility portion that is moveable relative to the base utility portion, and an assembly for arresting the motion of the supplementary utility portion, relative to the base utility portion. The supplementary utility portion is capable of assuming at least one closed disposition and at least one operative disposition, wherein the operative disposition is oriented at an angle between 0 and 180 degrees relative to the orientation of the supplementary utility portion when in the closed disposition.

Abstract: A portable cooler and table assembly that may be easily transported in a single, self-contained unit is disclosed. The assembly may be converted for use as a table for a variety of recreational activities, e.g., dining, drinking, games such as ping pong, beer pong, table hockey, card games, board games, preparation for sporting events and meals. The table and cooler may be permanently attached to each other, or alternatively, the cooler may be detachable from the table. The table may fold or collapse to assist in converting the assembly from a compact, lightweight transportable unit into a fully extended and operable table and cooler. The table surface may contain surface features such as grooves, indentations, nets, game pieces, etc. The cooler may comprise any container that is capable of containing ice or some other refrigeration or heating system, e.g., a conventional 54 quart beverage cooler. Alternatively, the cooler may be replaced with a storage container or other storage device.

The legs are adjustable so as to secure into place at a deployed position and to secure into place at a stowed position. The suitcase is moveable in the standing position on the wheels and the auxiliary wheels in the deployed position. The stowed position may be adjacent to the main wheels or to a back surface of the suitcase.

Abstract: A camera-assisted presentation apparatus, which is one of imaging apparatuses, has a table including a fixation member and two extension members, and a camera support assembly with a video camera attached to one end thereof. The two extension members are attached to the fixation member in a pivotally rotatable manner. In a service state of the camera-assisted presentation apparatus, the fixation member and the two extension members are extended to form one identical plane and ensure a wide area, on which a material for presentation is mounted. In a non-service state of the camera-assisted presentation apparatus, the two extension members are folded down to a camera holder member and an arm member of the camera support assembly. This arrangement significantly reduces the whole size of the camera-assisted presentation apparatus in its non-service state and effectively enhances the portability of the camera-assisted presentation apparatus.

Abstract: A suitcase has retractable telescoping legs that are stored on the edges of the suitcase and are deployed into a position with respect to the suitcase that resembles a hospital gurney. The suitcase is then oriented horizontally but in a location that is elevated to be convenient for packing or unpacking. The legs have casters on them and are telescoped and folded adjacent to edges of the suitcase during storage so the legs are out of the way, but with the casters located adjacent to one edge of the suitcase in the manner of wheeled suitcases.

A secondary lid, hinged to the primary lid, for enclosing the shallow storage area. A plurality of foldable legs are hinged to the bottom wall of the compartment to allow the table to be raised to a desired height in the deployed position or stored under a conventional bed in the retracted position.

Abstract: A carry-on luggage includes a casing having wheels rotatably mounted on a side face of the casing to allow the casing to move freely, a first recessed area defined in the side face thereof and a second recessed area defined in a side face of the casing to communicate with the first recessed area, a main board provided with a third recessed area, and a first and a second auxiliary handles securely and slidably received in the third recessed area to be able to extend out of the main board. The second auxiliary handle is able to extend out of the third recessed area and the first auxiliary handle is able to extend out of the third recessed area only when the main board is extended out of the first recessed area and pivoted relative to the casing.

Abstract: A carrying case for storing and transporting various items. The carrying case is especially useful as a flight bag. The carrying case includes an organizing flap hinged to the carrying case, and one or more organizing pockets or internal flaps that are hinged to the organizing flap. The organizing pockets can thus be opened and rotated like pages of a book for convenient storage of particular items or papers. The organizing pockets may be sized to hold Sectional Aeronautical Charts published by the Federal Aviation Administration for use by aircraft pilots. The rotatable organizing pockets are easily accessible to pilots to allow a pilot to direct more of his or her attention to piloting an aircraft and less time fumbling through files or pockets to locate maps and papers.

Abstract: The invention pertains to a foldable carrying ease for a notebook computer which has two states an open state wherein the notebook computer can be used on the open case and a closed state wherein the notebook computer can be transported with the computer being protected with padding on all 6 faces of the computer. The computer case is sized closely to the dimensions of the computer to provide a carrying case that is approximates the dimensions of the case plus the thickness of padding.

Abstract: A carrying case comprises an enclosure including a plurality of external walls and an external panel disposed over a window in one of the external walls communicating with an interior compartment. The enclosure has a selectively openable, selectively closable compartment opening providing access into the interior compartment when the opening is open and which prevents access into the interior compartment when the opening is closed. The panel defines a pop-out compartment adapted to carry an object and has a retracted position wherein the pop-out compartment is disposed within the interior compartment for removal of the object from the enclosure through the compartment opening. The panel is pivotable from the retracted position to an extended position wherein the pop-out compartment is withdrawn from the interior compartment for removal of the object from the enclosure via the pop-out compartment independent of the compartment opening.

Abstract: A laptop pc bag provides not only a standard laptop carrying case for carrying and protecting a laptop PC but also a desk. Abstract: Disclosed herein is a travel case having a deployable and retractable tray table assembly mounted to the back of the housing. The tray table is hinged to an extension member slidably disposed in a pocket within the compartment. The tray table is stowed within and completely contained by the compartment when not deployed. By unzipping the compartment and sliding the tray table and extension member upwardly, the tray table can be pivoted upwardly to a support position. In the support position, the tray table can rest upon the top of the case and the extension member can be locked in place so that it cannot slide downward. The compartment can be closed up around the extension member when the tray table is deployed.

Abstract: A portable container of the type generally used for retaining within a receptacle storage area items and thermal units, such as a refrigeration unit or ice packs, so as to maintain such items at a differential temperature relative to ambient temperature. The container includes U-shaped members positionable in a first position extending above and across the receptacle to define handle elements for carrying the receptacle and in a second position extending below the receptacle to define leg elements for supporting the receptacle thereabove. The invention further includes a mechanism for locking the U-shaped members in the second position and such mechanism comprises a handle/leg holder for attaching the U-shaped members directly to the sides of the receptacle. Abstract: A child's activity case opens up to form a desk that sits on a child's lap. The activity case can be filled with toys, coloring books, crayons, etc., to keep a child occupied during times that children have to keep sitting such as in a car. The case comprises a flexible satchel made from fabric having a board member in a base of the satchel. Opposing flaps are positioned on top of the satchel having zippers on either sides, the flaps overlap each other and have attachments to hold them together and retain the flaps closed. The flaps have inside pockets, and a carrying strap is provided to carry the case like a satchel.
