Abstract: The embarrassment of passing gas in public is ubiquitous. One solution is to wear a filter underwear that is generally constructed with a single ply of underwear side panels that are separated by an activated carbon center panel. The activated carbon center panel is attached to an elastic waistband at the underwear back and where the activated carbon center panel traverses between two leg openings to the waistband at the underwear front. The center panel is constructed with a five-ply activated carbon fabric that is sandwiched between cotton fabric, which is sandwiched between bamboo fabric. The five-ply center panel is greater than 1 mm thick to provide filtering capabilities to sufficiently reduce the odor of flatulence to an acceptable level that is not readily detected by a person close by.

Abstract: Absorbent, launderable garments and undergarments for incontinent or other persons likely to discharge fluids from time to time are supplied in many styles and capacities. All include a shaped absorbent pouch assembly, having an inner conformable and permeable layer in contact with the skin and an absorbent cotton layer sealed under a gas-permeable yet waterproof and stretchable textile. The pouch is positioned by a set of elastic strips or sheet elastic fabric; each set being visually similar to a style of regular underwear. A preferred waterproofing treatment uses an emulsion of fluoroalkyl acrylate permeated into a knitted or woven textile. In higher capacity versions the entire garment is waterproofed.

Abstract: A garment or article of clothing made of a resilient/elastomeric material includes at least a waist portion, a first leg portion, and a second leg portion. The waist portion further includes a pocket on the rear of the garment, where the pocket is defined by a backing panel, a first flap, and a second flap. The first flap is at least partially disposed over the second flap to secure contents between the backing panel and the second panel, and thus, within the pocket. When the waist portion is stretched, the tensile forces imparted onto the waist portion by the resilient/elastomeric material causes the first flap to at least partially overlie the second flap. The pocket is sized and shaped to receive smartphones and other small personal items, such as keys, money, credit cards, identifications, etc.

Abstract: Present aspects hereof are directed to a circular knitted garment for a lower torso, formed from a circular knitted tube of fabric. In some aspects, a bottom edge of the tubular fabric body includes an arched front cutout with generally convergent legs, and an arched back cutout with generally divergent legs. Upon sewing a seam between the arched front cutout and the arched back cutout, a vertical seam is aligned with a vertical axis of the tubular fabric body and a front rise of the garment is lower than a back rise of the garment. In further aspects, a bottom angled cutout along the bottom edge of the tubular fabric body provides a perpendicular alignment between the bottom edge of the garment and the vertical inseam of the garment.

A trapezoidal flap is placed over a front panel where the first and second sides of the trapezoidal flap are sewn into the garment, such that the sewn portion of the trapezoidal flap covers the hole. The unattached first and second sides of the trapezoidal flap are releasably secured to the garment via complimentary snaps and snap holders, such that when the snaps are engaged to the snap holders a pouch is formed by the trapezoidal flap and the garment.

Abstract: A disposable Cast and Intravenous (IV) Medical Shower System for protecting casted and/or IV therapy injected appendages from moisture while a patient is showering or bathing. A plurality of embodiments are disclosed, including a variety of sizes and colors for a variety of users for a variety of applications to accommodate a variety of limbs and afflictions such as wounds with or without a bandages, IV or drain lines, and fixed casts. One embodiment of the system is characterized by flexible stretch vinyl in a tubular shape with only one opening, which creates a water tight seal between the appendage and the system. Additionally, the midsection torso embodiment has an optional pocket on the inside surface (facing the skin) that is used for housing a medical device such as an insulin pump or pocket health monitor. Finally, the process for making and using the system is described in full detail.
