Abstract: The present invention improves upon contemporary shorts with integrated liners by providing a short with liner, the liner being affixed to the waistband of the short along a majority of the circumference of the short. A detached, dropped section along the front of the liner, has stretchable waistband that allows a user to enlarge the opening of the detached area.

Abstract: In an embodiment, an athletic garment is provided including a front panel and a rear panel, a waistband portion disposed at an upper portion of the garment, a first opening for receiving a torso of a user, a second opening for receiving a first leg of a user and a third opening for receiving a second leg of a user; and a crotch panel disposed between the front and rear panel, extending from the second opening to the third opening. The crotch panel comprises a tri-layered substrate to conceal and prevent visible staining of a fluid received therein. The tri-layered substrate may include a first layer of a first material, a second layer of a second material, and a third layer of a third material.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a wearable orthopedic device for lower body posture correction and improve human ergonomics. Embodiments of the present disclosure include pairs of men's and women's shorts that have specially positioned and tensioned panels for providing a wearer with a neutral pelvis. In certain embodiments, the device targets the body's proprioceptors to train the body to properly align itself.

Abstract: The embarrassment of passing gas in public is ubiquitous. One solution is to wear a filter underwear that is generally constructed with a single ply of underwear side panels that are separated by an activated carbon center panel. The activated carbon center panel is attached to an elastic waistband at the underwear back and where the activated carbon center panel traverses between two leg openings to the waistband at the underwear front. The center panel is constructed with a five-ply activated carbon fabric that is sandwiched between cotton fabric, which is sandwiched between bamboo fabric. The five-ply center panel is greater than 1 mm thick to provide filtering capabilities to sufficiently reduce the odor of flatulence to an acceptable level that is not readily detected by a person close by.

Abstract: Absorbent, launderable garments and undergarments for incontinent or other persons likely to discharge fluids from time to time are supplied in many styles and capacities. All include a shaped absorbent pouch assembly, having an inner conformable and permeable layer in contact with the skin and an absorbent cotton layer sealed under a gas-permeable yet waterproof and stretchable textile. The pouch is positioned by a set of elastic strips or sheet elastic fabric; each set being visually similar to a style of regular underwear. A preferred waterproofing treatment uses an emulsion of fluoroalkyl acrylate permeated into a knitted or woven textile. In higher capacity versions the entire garment is waterproofed.

The waist portion further includes a pocket on the rear of the garment, where the pocket is defined by a backing panel, a first flap, and a second flap. The first flap is at least partially disposed over the second flap to secure contents between the backing panel and the second panel, and thus, within the pocket. When the waist portion is stretched, the tensile forces imparted onto the waist portion by the resilient/elastomeric material causes the first flap to at least partially overlie the second flap. Abstract: Present aspects hereof are directed to a circular knitted garment for a lower torso, formed from a circular knitted tube of fabric. In some aspects, a bottom edge of the tubular fabric body includes an arched front cutout with generally convergent legs, and an arched back cutout with generally divergent legs. Upon sewing a seam between the arched front cutout and the arched back cutout, a vertical seam is aligned with a vertical axis of the tubular fabric body and a front rise of the garment is lower than a back rise of the garment. In further aspects, a bottom angled cutout along the bottom edge of the tubular fabric body provides a perpendicular alignment between the bottom edge of the garment and the vertical inseam of the garment.

Abstract: A disposable Cast and Intravenous (IV) Medical Shower System for protecting casted and/or IV therapy injected appendages from moisture while a patient is showering or bathing. A plurality of embodiments are disclosed, including a variety of sizes and colors for a variety of users for a variety of applications to accommodate a variety of limbs and afflictions such as wounds with or without a bandages, IV or drain lines, and fixed casts. One embodiment of the system is characterized by flexible stretch vinyl in a tubular shape with only one opening, which creates a water tight seal between the appendage and the system. Additionally, the midsection torso embodiment has an optional pocket on the inside surface (facing the skin) that is used for housing a medical device such as an insulin pump or pocket health monitor. Finally, the process for making and using the system is described in full detail.

Abstract: Cooling apparatus (and method) for reducing the risk of, and/or alleviating, male infertility, particularly in a heated environment, includes: a pouch to enclose the scrotal area of the male user; a thermoelectric cooling device to be worn by the male user at a distance from the pouch; and a fluid pump also to be worn by the male user for pumping a cooling fluid from the cold side of the thermoelectric cooling device to the pouch, and a cooling fluid over the hot side of the thermoelectric cooling device to dissipate the heat generated therein to the atmosphere. The thermoelectric cooling device and pump are incorporated in a waistband to be worn around the waist of the male user.

Abstract: The invention relates to men's underwear that provides options with respect to waist size and pouch size. The pouch size may vary in order to accommodate males of varying genital sizes. For a given waist size there may be at least two pouch sizes, wherein each pouch size is different from the other. The present invention provides multiple options for pouch size within each waist size. Therefore, rather than being limited to selecting from waist size only, providers and/or user may also select from varying pouch sizes. This effectively increases the number of undergarment options.

If needed, the fabric side panels can have openings for the insertion of hip protection pads.
