Abstract: The present invention provides a brassiere that can create not only a cleavage of breasts but also a beautiful decollete in a neckline area by naturally pushing up the breasts, even when the user is a person whose breasts including flab have little volume, or an elderly person whose breasts have no volume particularly in an area near the stomach and moreover are droopy. This brassiere includes: a pair of cups (20) covering breasts (B); a front panel (31) to which the cups (20) are attached; side panels (40) extending from underarm portions of the front panel (31); and straps (50) provided from upper edges of the respective cups (20) to the side panels (40). A substantially triangular pad (70) is disposed to be overlapped with a substantially triangular part (S) that is surrounded by a rising portion (28) from a stomach part (20a) of each cup (20) and a horizontal edge portion (29) from the stomach part (20a).

The primary panel is connected to the plurality of waistband panels via continuous pieces of material forming the leg openings of the garment. The front panel connects to the plurality of waistband panels via a connection mechanism, which upon connecting, the front panel forms the front for the underwear portion of the bathing suit garment.

The apparel item comprises an outer panel of material, an inner panel of material, a pocket panel, and a double-layer trim piece such as a waistband. A top edge of the outer panel is affixed to an outer layer of the waistband, and a top edge of the inner panel is affixed to an inner layer of the waistband. The pocket panel is positioned between the inner panel and the outer panel, and a top edge of the pocket panel is affixed to the outer layer of the waistband, and a bottom edge of the pocket panel is affixed to the inner panel of material. A pocket space is defined between the pocket panel and the inner panel of material. An opening to the space is formed through the outer layer of the waistband.

Abstract: One-piece swimsuit and method of manufacture provide for easy extraction of one or both legs without removing the top of the swimsuit. A top and bottom portion of the swimsuit can be partially separated by an openable closure that connects the top portion to the bottom portion when closed. An integral joining strip that secures the top portion to the bottom portion at one side of the swimsuit, so that when both legs are removed from the bottom portion, the bottom portion of the swimsuit is retained at the side of the wearer. An elastic expansion may be provided in the joining strip to facilitate pulling the bottom portion downward when extracting the wearer's leg(s). The closure may be an elastic band or elastic zipper to facilitate reconnection of the bottom portion to the top portion. A flap or skirt may be included to hide the closure.
Abstract: A harness system for adjusting support of a garment is provided herein. The garment with a harness system includes a body and a liner having harness straps. The harness straps slide through openings in shoulder straps of the body. The harness straps are then laced through a series of maintainers in the back of the body. The harness straps having terminally-located tabs that may be pulled from the back of the body toward the front of the body and affixed thereto. The placement of the tabs, when pulled toward the front of the body and attached thereto, determines the fit and support of the garment. By manipulating the tabs of the harness system, a wearer may adjust the length of the harness straps, back and posture support, and the lift provided by the liner. The harness system creates a customizable fit and support level.

Abstract: A halter bib athletic garment is described herein. A halter bib athletic garment may be removed or lowered without removing a jersey by simply pulling a halter strap over the head of a wearer. One or more embodiments of a halter bib allow wearers to more readily urinate or have a bowel movement because the halter bib may be easily lowered or removed. A halter bib athletic garment may include a lower body section, a chamois coupled to the lower body section, and an upper body section. The upper body section comprises a halter strap forming a portion of a loop of a head opening on the upper body section. The halter strap includes two front side portions and a rear side portion positioned between the front side portions. The rear side portion is coupled to the athletic garment only with the front side portions of the halter strap.
Abstract: The present invention provides a garment useful as swimwear or sun-bathing attire that has an adjustable waistband which allows the girth of the garment and waistband to be expanded or decreased by the user, according to the body size and desired fit of the user. Abstract: A therapeutic bra and its method of use are presented. The therapeutic bra is intended for use by individuals recovering from shoulder surgery or otherwise having areas of discomfort in the shoulder region. A single strap is provided for interconnection above the cup of the bra that is associated with the non-sensitive, unaffected shoulder. The strap extends across the unaffected shoulder and then makes interconnection with any of various receiving sleeves along a top edge of the back portion of the bra. The receiving sleeve employed will typically be a function of the anatomy of the user and the associated cup size. The single bra strap may be connected around the neck of the user and to the top of each of the cups of the bra to be used as a halter, or the strap can be totally removed and not used at all.

Abstract: Convertible swimwear comprising a top piece and extendable bottom piece. The bottom piece having an intermediate portion with an upper edge that can be positioned adjacent to a lower edge of top piece and held in position by an elastic strap. The upper edge of the intermediate section includes an elastic strap to maintain the upper edge in position to form a one piece bathing suit. The top piece may further include a cover flap to conceal the edge of the intermediate section for a seamless appearance. The upper edge of the intermediate section can be rolled, folded or scrunched toward the bottom piece to effectively convert the one piece style bathing suit to a two piece style bathing suit.
Abstract: The present disclosure generally pertains to a shapewear garment with an integrated compression liner. The liner is constructed from a singular tubular piece of fabric and provides 360° of compression. The liner is seamless, thus allowing for a smooth appearance. The liner is attached to an outer fashion garment to prevent twisting or turning of the piece. The garment includes a plurality of yarn stitches to provide greater support in the chest and stomach regions. The liner and outer garment may take a T-shirt or tank top configuration with a number of different necklines and lengths.
Abstract: Some embodiments of the present invention include an adjustable bathing suit top including a frontside configured to cover a wearer's chest and an adjustable backside. The backside may include a horizontal strap attached to the frontside of the bathing suit top and the horizontal strap is configured to fit around the circumference of the wearer's back. A first vertical strap and a second vertical strap are connected to the frontside of the bathing suit top, each of the first vertical strap and the second vertical strap are attached to the horizontal strap by a loop. The loops are capable of sliding along a length of the horizontal strap. A plurality of rings are wrapped around both of the vertical straps to hold the vertical straps together and the rings are capable of sliding along a length of the vertical straps.

Abstract: In order to provide a polyurethane yarn having exceptional performance in terms of resistance to chlorine embrittlement essentially without the use of zinc, which is a heavy metal, and having advantageous application particularly in swimwear; as well as a fabric and article of swimwear using the polyurethane yarn, the present invention is a polyurethane yarn characterized in containing a partially hindered phenol compound having at least one partially hindered hydroxyphenyl group and a molecular weight of 300 or more, and a synthetic carbonate comprising one metal selected from the group consisting of alkali metals and alkaline-earth metals. The polyurethane yarn and other fibers are combined to yield a fabric and article of swimwear.
