  • Patent number: 7562770
Abstract: A drink holder that includes a base with a volume of water in it and a two-part cap that can be rotated to drop an amount of powdered drink mix, stored within the cap, into the water within the base. The cap includes a bottom section, a top section attached to the bottom section, and a cap that is placed on top of the top section. The bottom section has a flange that sticks out and meets the flange from the top section, forming a small compartment above the two flanges within the cap. The flanges are in this position when the top section of the cap is tightly connected to the bottom section of the cap. When the top section is threadably detached form the bottom section, the positioning of the two flanges creates a rather large hole within the cap, causing any drink powder or mix within an upper section of the cap to fall down through the bottom section of the cap and into the volume of liquid (preferably water).

  • Patent number: 7083323
Abstract: In an embodiment, an apparatus includes a conduit. The apparatus also includes two or more flexible compartments. Each of the two or more flexible compartments has an interior wall defining a storage area configured to house a substance. Each of the two or more flexible compartments includes a distal end and a proximal end. The proximal ends of the two or more flexible compartments are coupled to the conduit such that the conduit defines a passageway between the two or more flexible compartments. A diameter of the storage area at the proximal end is less than a diameter of the storage area at the distal end.

Abstract: A cap device for bottles, which is capable of mixing an additive contained therein with a material contained in a bottle to prepare a mixture in accordance with a simple rotating action of the cap device relative to the bottle, performed by a user, thus allowing the user to easily prepare the mixture just before taking or using the mixture. The cap device has a cap body tightened to an externally threaded mouth of the bottle, with a funnel part integrally formed in the cap body to discharge the additive from the cap body into the bottle through a lower end thereof. A cap cover is assembled with the cap body to cover an open upper end of the cap body while defining a cavity inside both the cap body and the cap cover to contain the additive in the cavity. The cap device also has a valve means for opening or closing the lower end of the funnel part of the cap body in accordance with the rotating action of the cap body relative to the externally threaded mouth of the bottle.

  • Patent number: 7066354
Abstract: A mixing and dispensing apparatus has a small bottle which is positioned within a larger bottle. The small bottle contains a concentrated solution, and the larger bottle contains water. The small bottle has a nozzle that is off-center, a grip base that is an integral part of the bottle, and a vent to maintain zero atmospheric pressure internally. The small bottle is inverted and placed within the neck of the large bottle. The nozzle of the small bottle is placed within a narrowed internal passageway at the base of the neck of the nozzle. Once the apparatus is ready for use, the small bottle is pulled upward using a pull ring, thereby opening the nozzle and releasing the contents of the small bottle into the large bottle. The contents are poured out through a separate pour spout.

Abstract: A flexible container is provided for the storage and administration of medical solutions. The container incorporates a transparent front sheet made from a planar layer of a polymer and an opposing rear sheet. The rear sheet is made from a planar laminate layer. The front and rear sheets are sealed together along a common peripheral edge to form a volume enclosure. The volume enclosure is constructed of materials having high oxygen and moisture barrier properties which allows the container thermoplastic to be stored for extended periods of time without degrading the contents. The volume enclosure is then inflated with a pressurized gas to permanently stretch the front and rear sheets outwardly and to thereby increase the volume capacity of the container. An alternative embodiment of the container incorporates multiple compartments, separated by peelable seals, for containing a diluent and a medicament.
